Doge is what brings me to this forum. It's been...interesting. All of the technical details behind the scenes still elude me but at least I've got an idea of the basic premise and have mined successfully.
Same. I was never really into the mining stuff before and ignored most of it. Then I saw dogecoin being tipped on reddit and I decided to poke around. I'm not very good at it, but it's interesting to me.
Has Dogecoin finally brought cryptocurrency to the masses? I believe this is why it's exploding the way it is. I'm very happy not just as a miner but because decentralized currency is a breath of fresh air TBH.
I just hope to see everyone in all age brackets embrace it, and keep it deregulated!!!

What marketing is that? People saying "to the moon" and "such profit" over and over? Gets old pretty fast. Why can't you mime Bitcoin for "the lulz"
IMHO Virality, people are familiar with memes and then are sharing a lot of content (ex. The Dogecoin Millionaire story video) on social networks about Dogecoin because it is meme themed and even wallet is meme themed.

I would describe Dogecoin as the new Quarkcoin. It will rise quite high, but that will not last too long.
Quark was massive premine scam. Doge won't have any of the hate associated with Quark. But I don't see it becoming Litecoin. Yet....

In order for it to survive whatever push it is getting right now, all the developers and miners that got it to this point will need to stick with it even after they are rich, and even avoid cashing out early on if possible. If Doge takes the millionaire plunge like Mega and Quark, then it will be toast like all the rest.

Since I cannot post in the other section yet. Does anybody know why doge.pool.webxass.de is down? DDOS? Scam? Sucks because I mined last night and my rig at home is still mining. Would hate it if I was mining for nothing and paying electricity for it 
I wanted to ask the same question about doge.pool.webxass.de. I have auto-payout at every 10k DOGE. I got a payment at 07:45 and at 10:55 this morning (Europe, GMT+1 timezone), but i didn't recieve any payment since.
