Of course they can. Some of their behaviors confirm that. And they love even if someone does`t deserve it. And they feel and look very sad when they lost his friend. I remember my dog after he lost his catfriend...

Dog & Cat? sounds impossible. but it could be possible if they were together since they born.

Trolling much?  Roll Eyes

yeah if both grow together from his childhood sure they will be friend! i agree with your statement we can applicable in our pets Smiley

as long as you treated them fair i think will not cost any problem but dogs are very jealous type of animals when it comes to attention of their owner cats dont give a damn as long as your giving them foods and touching them or play with them sometimes but dogs needs so much attention from their owners

I think I know deep down that a cat is never needy.....they take what they can, and if they're not getting anything any more, they just leave - rather efficient actually, wish I was the same

i'll just carry on bribing her with food, treats.............. Grin

Cats are like women then.
Great comparison Cheesy

True that, animals show more compassion than humans sadly.

and that is the painful truth animals will stay with you until the end of their life and gave you their whole loyalty while human has 50% chance of leaving you betraying you or hurt you Cheesy

I read somewhere that cats rarely feel attached to the owner, but rather to the house. Cat goes where the food is and doesn't care who provides it, that's why people who steal cats and have no problems keeping them in their new home.

you've just broke my heart  Cry i wanted to carry on living in my little bubble where my cat actually loves me and not just my house

Go ahead, she won't mind.

well my dog is very attached to my father she know what time my father will arrive and she is already at the door and waiting for him the funny thing about her is my mother is not allowed to kissed first to my father she should be the first or else she will gone nuts and ignored you the whole day Cheesy
I'd say she has a hierarchy problem, thinks your father is the pack leader and she is his mate, second important in the pack. Not joking Smiley
What breed is she?

she is black lab retriever
