Aww crap, I just ordered a bitplastic card a couple of days ago. I guess it's better to cut my losses (0.2btc) now, rather than to wait for him to scam more of my money. Thanks for posting this though.

You really should look up money laundering and why the phrase exists in the first place. You or I might not be doing it for nefarious reasons, but the fact exists that this service is used to hide illegally gained funds. He can try as hard as he likes to get it back, may succeed, but I suspect the funds are already gone.

I know, I know.  How Moriarty is still in operation I'll never know!  Well, I can actually see the accounts the coin sits in.  But of course, how do I prove he owns those addresses.

I'm not sure what's more stupid, sending $80k in one go to a service that is clearly illegal in the first place or trying to get it back. He can't even go to the police, what's he going to say? Oh, I was trying to launder money through his service and he scammed me! It's fine to put the information out there and hopefully people will stop using his services, but it was bound to happen.

Well, he can and will go to the police.  He wasn't doing anything illegal and how is mixing coins illegal?  He was trying to mix them so that they did not link back to him. Bitcoin is supposed to be anonymous, but as we all know that if you see my donation address below and can link an address to me, then it is no longer anonymous.  So, if I had coins, that I didn't want linked to any of my "public" addresses, I could "mix" "clean" or "launder" them and that should mean they no longer would show my donation account linked to any coins.

I agree with you about sending 80k in one shot, that was the mistake. But we can't just allow Moriarty to steal it.

So I grade you an F as far as this statement goes...

Clearly the answer is a) sending the coins there was far more stupid....  but that said, you are saying now he should not try and get them back?  That's insanity.

i deal with @moriartybitcoin and he didn't scam me neither.

MOD's should investigate this and solve the problem asap. i saw lot of posts from @campycoin related to scam reports. I don't know it's true or false but those are annoying me to see in all thread's involved in moriartybitcoin .

Please check & clear these messages.

Oh, and I am very sorry for annoying you by helping protect people from using his sites and getting taken by his scam network.

In the future, I will ask everyone first if it annoys them that I am trying to help the community.  Here are your exact words in the PM you sent me...

Quote
"Hello,

I'm not aware of this big scammer. i'm new to this forum. i just visited your website and come to know about him.

I will not do any business with him in future. sorry my last transaction was completed successfully from both end.

i will stand for Good side not evil side.

Thanks for informed me"

Then you say my posts about Moriarty annoy you?  Thanks again for standing for the good side

Please don't ask to have my posts removed.  That is great that you chose to deal with Moriarty and that he paid for a domain.  Fantastic.

I am saying that Moriarty is

a) not a doctor
b) not a Michael or a Moriarty
c) not a graduate of Stanford
d) not a PhD
e) guilty of stealing $80,000 from a customer
f) guilty of operating many websites under a fake name, fake address, fake phone number and not operating as a true business should
g) he has admitted to stealing $80k
h) he continues to operate and attempts to trash my name in order to get public eye off him.

I never said that every single transaction he gets involved in he steals your money. I simply state that when you deal with Moriarty he MAY steal your money and yet you guys all want to clear his name.  Way to protect the community.  Ramkumar- You even thanked me in a PM and said you are always on the side of truth and operate with only those who do not lie and scam.....

Then you come here and ask them to clear my posts?

Thanks for always being on the side of good.

Thanks... I forgot that I didn't check the little box for negative review....

ANd for everyone else...   That's fine.  Do business with who you want.  I never said that he screws everyone, all the time.  That's not a very effective way to scam.

HERE'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

He runs bitlaunder.com

user and forum member "rickyjames" deposited 127btc for launder.  After 24 hours, no sign of his coin, after days of emails and support inquiry he was never once contacted.  He contacted me as I had wrote a Moriarty Bitcoin Network Interview for CCN.  I said, must be a mistake and contacted Michael.  He denied everything, giving the excuse of customer deposited 127btc and withdrew.  I said, please give me trx #.  Michael wrote back some other crap accusing RICKYJAMES of trying to extort him.  I said thank god this is bitcoin, please give me the trx # of the payout or withdrawal.  Michael said, "I'm not gonna get bent outta shape over some shakedown attempt."  I SAID MICHAEL-- THIS IS SIMPLE, GIVE ME THE PAYOUT TRX #.  He never did.  I tried a few tactics (one being to email him from another email as ask for a payout to go away) I signed the email with MY initials... He was supposed to know it was me, I was just trying to get him to admit he had the coins.  The next emails show that he said that he bets the coins were stolen... (was all I needed to hear to know he had them) so I told him he was wrong, that the coins were legit....  Now watch as Michael...

1. admits he has them
2. asks follow up questions as to the truthfullness of my assertion that the coins were clean
3. asks for RICKYJAMES info
4. confirms he will be returning the coins as he looked into it and Ricky and Coins were legit.

NO WHY HE HAS THE RIGHT TO HOLD THE COINS AND PLAY COP, I DON'T KNOW OR CARE - WAS HAPPY I GOT THE COINS BACK FOR RICKY....

But nope... Michael sent a 0.01 test transaction and then has never spoken to me or Ricky James again.  That is called theft and $80k is a lot and Michael is a piece of shit for doing this and putting me through this crap.  Then he made a site.... my name  jerancampanella.com   where he is calling me an extortioner... when I have 0 btc and he has 125btc that do not belong to him.

Do whatever you guys want... support this little bitch.

How did we come to that?
Is the seller or the buyer Michael? I read the website last week but I don't want to read it again today

I have left positive trust on moriarty's profile because he did not scam me. The evidence above doesn't seem 100% accurate so therefore I cannot in good faith leave him a bad review.

Moriarty requested that I post directly here so there's proof. My btc address is 197NRT9smmLnyYq4rbrJazKdmsm5c8xJsR. Please email me your namecheap info so I can push it from my namecheap account.

Would you mind giving me that namecheap info?

Or not, if you like being associated in the theft of $80,000

I suggest you first check http://antilyze.com

Moriarty is a fake.  He's a fraud. He's a scam. And a thief.  He stole $80,000 from someone and is a pathetic scam artist.  He uses a fake name and declares a fake PhD.

Here is the network of scam sites that I'd avoid.  If you are into handouts, please send bitcoin to 1C9rewdqraMuhRrL8RL4bkw5rkSCHdNawt  Michael has plenty with his $80,000 theft from last week.  My personal favorite is the first one.

Hey Mike, or Scammy Steve or whatever your fake name is....  I'll never go away...  Pay back the $80,000 or eventually you'll go down! Difference between me and you bedsides the fact that you're a piece of shit....  IS THAT TRUTH ALWAYS WINS

If this is true you have left positive trust on his profile picture you should change it to negative.
