It really depends on the coins you are holding. There are coins that are destined to die and lose value. Their value depends on the coins functions in the market. If the corresponding technology has no use in the future or sees no improvements, most likely its coins will die. Better to cut lose. But, if your coins are highly significant, better to hold.

I bought bitcoin when it was around $14,500 in January and I am still holding because I am not discouraged.  I have great hope that bitcoin is going to increase in price and volume in some years to come.

I agree. Never be hopeless on this kind of situation in the market because it will recover and be back again at it's normal flow and possibly hit even at the higher price. Also, being optimistic in here will be a good way so that we can be able to have a chance to succeed in our investments.

Continue to be patient and hope it will make you stronger and stronger with your current position. Maybe, not only you who believe in the thing, I am the same as you that bitcoin is going to increase in price, this is not a dream because it has happened before and that is a fact.

You're right, friend. Bitcoin currency will definitely experience a price increase in the future. As usual, there's often a decline (even a prolonged period) rather than an increase (which can still be counted on our fingers). Even so, we don't need to despair because although increases are rare sometimes bitcoin prices increase significantly.

I agree. We should not worry if the current price does not favor us.Of course fluctuation happens any time so we can expect that the price will soon to skyrocket again.Let's not stop holding because it could be the only way that we gain huge profits in the future.

At that time you bought Bitcoin, there were high hopes that in no time Bitcoin will increase in price and volume regardless. Now, it's obvious it's the other way round. I just feel you could have recovered your losses and made extra profit, if you had sold those coins, and subsequently buy Bitcoin at low prices and sell at high prices. It has nothing to do with fear. It's all about understanding the market enough to capitalize on the trend.
Now is not a good time for investors to sell their coins so you can keep your coins because the market is showing signs of recovery very well. I also keep a lot of altcoin and still have not intend to sell.

But of course, irrespective of the shortcomings in BITCOIN's price and volume this year, the future of the coin seems promising. The convincing factor is that it has the backing of technology and Technology is the thing of this generation. So whether there are regulations or not, on the long run, Bitcoin will be as expensive as a newly found precious stone/metal. Also, there are many beliefs and analysis stating that the recent falls in price is a result of market correction. So it seems all good after all.

Be sure to keep your bitcoin. Hold it until it gives you a profit. The price of bitcoin will increase, just wait.

That's right. If you are a true supported of cryptocurrencies and you follow the trends that affects cryptocurrencies, then you know that even if it is experiencing lots of downs and dips lately, it would still rise back up and surge in value after a few months or so. In fact, currently, Bitcoin and other coins like Ethereum have been steadily gaining some value, which shows that it's on the uptrend right now. Therefore, if you have coins that are not doing good right now, don't panic and just sell them off.

You are definitely one of the supporters of bitcoin. Keep holding and you would be duely rewarded. Bitcoin is a long term project and vision and not a short term one and many people regard bitcoin as a short term project and this is why they lose money. Keep holding

Indeed if you sold your bitcoin with the current price then you will lost more than 50% from your initial investment and hold is good to avoid loss but i think currently very difficult to find someone just like you because majority people usually will being panic and sold their bitcoin when the price dropped and they do not dare hold their bitcoin for more than 1 month

You lost already a big amount sir! I admire you because of your patience level. Nowadays, we can't usually see some people with patience like, it is so rare today like now that prices of cryptocurrencies are almost dump and most traders are being discouraged in their selves. They usually thinking to quit in trading or investing on cryptocurrencies because of those losses but you can be a good role model to them to have a positive mind.

Yes, and that's the best way to keep our own token safe. Not to trade when the price is down. Still holding and not discouraged ourselves to do something when it's not good to our own. Bitcoin have more opportunity and more chance to wake up and have a pretty good price.

Getting more cryptocurrency at this rate is the best possible option to any investor or trader of the market. Hodl more now by adding more into the market before the month of September as the institution behind NYSE which is ICE and the Winklevoss twins has held a meet up in which they will combine into providing big institutional player entering the market. Expect big time in bullish trend in the cryptocurrency market.

The good thing about a bear market is a larger possibility of a bull run once again.
Sell when you see it is almost at its limit of going high then buy at dips just like this.
Hard to predict but when once you get a hold of it then it could be an easy profit.

I still prefer getting more bitcoin then holding it for a long time though.

You were too high. And it takes a lot of time for you to make a profit. In 2018 we can not see a bitcoin price higher than 8000$ in the current market. At least we need to wait until the middle or late 2019. To the market can return to the game

It might take too long for now to recover however market is indeed unpredictable so we'll never know where this will take us. Last year's speculation was just around $10k yet it reached $20k and it's beyond from what we think. So yeah these faith and hopes are the ones that keep us running that these tough time will be over and the price will skyrocket sooner.
