Then it becomes all tears...
Tears for those who really want to cry or have so many tears in their eyes. Crash or no crash, which would not stop bitcoin from getting back right up later on. Sure, it is imminent the way things are going, however, I do not think it is really going to be that huge anyway the way we are all thinking. Times have changed and even if the crash ends up happening, then it is just time to buy the shit out of it.

I do not think there will be any big crashes as in last one year bitcoin showed many corrections but no crashes. So we can expect similar trend in coming months too....

Is it right to call it a crash? I also believe that the price will fall sharply now, due to people dumping at the $15K level, but I think the price will recover relatively quickly after the dump. It is what happened at the $10K level, after all... So I wouldn't call it a crash.
Well, it did and then it was right back up within some split of a second before we even knew it. However, taking a look at the way the market is being pumped right now, it is sure a whole lot scary as such things can really cause a massive dump in the long run.

I have feelings some whales are just doing this to stir the market a bit and then just dump and cause some fear in the market. We will never know until it happens anyway. For now, we just keep watching events unfold.

He's been dissing anything he can get his hands on since BTC was single and double figures. That says enough about his credibility. Look deep into those bulging eyes and be glad you're not trapped behind them.

Thanks for pointing that out, although he is kinda right: It's going to crash at some point (unless it's upgraded.)
I feel like people shouldn't follow anyone's advice blindly though... And if you do, losing your money would be your own bloody fault.

Ty for the warning though.

The bubble will collapse. Until then, it's still a nice way to make some profits though :-)

We will all die, yet we want to live our lives well. Before we die, we want to have as much fun as possible, just like we want to profit as much from Bitcoin as possible, until it collapses.
No one knows when that is, how it goes or why it happens. Sadly, it'll be too late for the investors, once we know the answer to those questions.

is it just me or does everyone these days create such topics for later on so that they could say "i told you so" in case a crash or even a drop happened.
i mean if you look around everywhere is filled with people saying practically the same thing and the funny part about their warnings is that they are not even selling their own bitcoins and they are holding it tight!

however we all know that even a blind man can see a correction that will definitely happen very soon. and corrections at times like this are known to be dramatic and people always over-react to them by panic selling.
Most definitely and everyone should expect that in the long run anyway. How long this is going to keep up for now is unknown and the reason behind why the huge rise in value is happening is also unknown and crazy at the same time.

The Korean market is just getting crazier and sillier by the day. However, there is no need creating FUDs around it as this in itself would even cause new investors to panic when the correction starts happening. It does not even make any sense at all. I would rather buy in the huge correction anyway. Old times thought me that.

seriously again and again we're seeing this thing so called 'Crash' ?
even if the price goes down to around $1.000 in the next few days,it will remain the same that.
Bitcoin will only get the correction because the price already get pumped so hard for the past few months.
'Crash' mean something that goes down and crash,
it will never regain its value in the future because it's already crash to the ground.
for example the plane,
you can find a lot of crash that happened with it,after they crashed to the bottom did they make another move ?
absolutely not.
it's very easy to understand to be honest,
just remember this, whenever you're pushing something on top of you.
at the same time you will get a pressure from it.
everything that goes up someday will goes down,it's a cycle.
but Bitcoin still has a lot of room to grow and potential, even if the price correcting to the ground.
it will keep surviving and make another history in the future.

When the price was in the range of 9-11 thousand dollars I can't call it a fall. The price wavered but did not fall. If after reaching the level of 20,000 dollars, bitcoin will do the same I'm just glad. I have very high hopes that bitcoin will ever reach its peak and will remain at this level for a long time. Stability is always better than a swing.

I see you are feeling it too. Old timers know Wink

Yeah, old timers 'member. But when you live through one of these crazy bull cycles before, you realize that in the grander scheme of things it doesn't really matter.

I mean, who really cares if it were to crash back to $5-7k now, when well all know full well it'll likely be up to $50k+ in 3-4 years? Or even by the end of 2018?

The longer term horizon is all that matters.

Hodl. And buy the dips.

Well it matter's to me if the bottom is gonna be 5-7k? or 3-4k? cos last time I started buying back in at $800. Should really have been a little more patient Wink

The bottom will be $12k so buy there if you've got money. Though it will probably only be that low for a matter of hours or minutes, so be quick! $12k would fit the boom-bust pattern that bitcoin has always exhibited - it goes back to the price of the last boom, which is $11,400 since the last boom-bust was ~$8000 -> ~$11,0000 -> ~$8000 and then we headed into the current boom.

I think times are changing for bitcoin. Some People can sell their Bitcoin now and make some money, but it Won't affect The price too much, because rich People are looking at Bitcoin and investing a lot of money. Therefore, you can sell now and make some money, but at The end The True is That you will be losing a lot of money if you sell now. Bitcoin price Will increase and it doesn't matter if a lot of us start selling our bitcoin now, because rich People Will invest huge amounts of money

It can still be considered as a crash because the price went down a notch. Even though it will recover from time to time, the fact that the price fell and its effect to the crypto world will be felt by all of us is important. That will be the time that many of us will panic and start selling their bitcoin thinking that they could buy at a lower price. To maximize their gains again.

We may not call it a crash but a minor dump. Even if BTC dumps $1000 in price it will still be a minor dump since the red candle will not be that big when compared to green ones. What it basically means is that Bitcoin costs thousands of dollars now and even a small dump in the graph will mean cutting off thousands of dollars from BTC's price. So before the minor dump/correction takes place it would be wise to sell off some % of the Bitcoins to buy more later. It is always best to buy and sell small amounts of BTC and not selling it completely. Bitcoin has good potential and will eventually rise over the years. So selling it off completely is more risky as the price might boom anytime and leave you with regret.

I don't think we're talking about minor dumps here. It's true that the OP has too little information but the thread title should be enough to guess that its about the coming price correction. And when it comes it will definitely give a hard crash. Although I'm not sure when, It was on January last year if my memory serves me right. As for the minor dumps you're talking about, It should probably be soon.

I am checking the price night and day just to be aware and see for my self on where it will stop. I am making a call  at $16500 and gonna throw most of it, you guys, what's your preferred price to dump? I really do hope it will reach $20k before the year ends, but I have certain aims and I am sure I'll stick with it.

If you're not sure, Better to throw half of it with your set price X just to get your capital (assuming that you did join the pump for short trading) and the other half for price set Y
