It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?
Chasing our loss is basically normal thing in gambling, it is natural and I'm sure most gamblers do it most of the time. The most important thing is that we should always stick into our limit in every gambling session we play. We also should not force ourselves in the process of chasing our loss, for example: yesterday I lose $100 and today I played and made a $50 profit, it is better for me to stop in this stage or not to chase the other $50. The key is here is not to force ourselves while gambling, reduce our greed, and stay on our own limit for every gambling session.
But all this happens only when gamblers lose more money, which of course cannot be accepted when they lose, they lose consciousness and increase their bets and use money that might not be allocated for gambling.
I sure every gambler has limit or could say money allocated for gambling but under certain conditions they get carried away until they don't realize it, they lose it all, an amount they never expected in the first place.
But it is true that chasing defeat is form of attitude that is very normal and is still very often experienced by every gambler I have experienced it and this is not condition that can be easily accepted.
One of the best but painful ways is to try to accept everything with quite heavy feelings, thinking that everything has happened and cannot be brought back again.

Dealing with big losses often leads to series of complicated problems, but if are too ambitious about recovering from them, it will only result in bigger losses.

Chasing up losses is the reason behind frequent failure in gambling. Most times when people loss, they lost out of negligence and curiousity or trying to prove an unreasonable fact of getting back there lost fund by all means, and they will chase after more loses than win.
all you want to do is to stop and just take the losses and accept it because no matter what you do, those losses are already permanent and you just give that call a day and stop so that it won't be adding more losses on your end.
You have just made a clear point, and that is just the solution to it. For a gambler to scale through the challenges of chasing after loses, the easiest way is to call it a quit, otherwise you will end up chasing after more loses. Gambling is a kind of game that always comes with greed and that is to say that whenever people win they think of wining more they are never satisfied with what they get, that is why they fall victim of lost most at times. Could you emagine someone wining like $100 instead of going home with that amount, that same person will Start thinking of how to make it #200 and eventually when he makes up to that proposed$200 he will still want to make more until he will lost all and still trying to get back the initial wining of $200 which might never be possible, there comes where chasing after loses comes.

It would be better to plan and limit your gambling. That way you can gamble responsibly and have a safety net, in case you lapse into a gambling rush. Or you can not gamble at all.

But if you plan it, you will have to own a large amount of self discipline.

My own personal plan is once a week at most and only with tiny amounts, capped to a max. amount.

many perceptions can be said, such as.
do not gamble with the aim of making money. because that's not true, understand the fact that gambling is a paid game, even though there is a chance of winning but it's not certain, because what is certain is losing which makes us lose money.
with the fact that victory is difficult to obtain, we must be able to think clearly and well and wisely when we win. When we win, of course the best choice is to cash it in, because that is the only and best choice, there is nothing else besides that, although there are those who think that when you win, that's the time to increase the bet amount so you can get a bigger win. It's true that the bet amount affects the win amount, but what you have to pay attention to is the fact that gambling will more often end in defeat, so even though you have getting a win doesn't mean it's the right time to increase the bet amount, because winning cannot be guaranteed, it's still better to be able to win with a small bet amount, because it's not certain that you can get a big win with a large bet amount, even if it is If you have won, it is better not to take rash actions, not to consider everything well in the sense of taking actions that risk losing the victory you have obtained.

The problem is when they win and gamble again, where the final outcome is a loss which causes the winnings that have been obtained to be lost again, then that will trigger us to do excessive actions, of course if the winnings that have been obtained are lost again then it will appear. feeling annoyed, and that feeling of familiarity can trigger everything to fall apart, losing self-control because of strong emotions will happen to the point where we become uncontrollable, depositing money back to recover losses or chase wins is the start of big problems. If you have won, it's better to cash it in, and leave the casino to enjoy the winnings you've won and come back a few days later if you still want to gamble, the same as when you lose, if you've lost then it's best to stop there, don't make a deposit. Returning money to gamble again with the aim of pursuing winnings or recovering losses, is truly a reckless action.

This is a familiar story. because for the most part, gamblers are oriented only towards winning. Therefore, if a gambler loses, he will definitely catch up on that loss. and because they are impatient, and want to get instant wealth, they take the wrong path when gambling.
Gambling is tender on making crucial changes which will either be profitable to the gambler or serves as losses to him. The losses are here in the space and trying one's possible best to completely abstain from the system will definitely make us be confident from the system. Perhaps it's not going to be an easy one but the best is yet to come. Ask yourself this question, why will gamblers indulged in the system if not hanging around desperately hitting on for profits. Gamblers exists in the space simply for what? They're chasing the winning because that's the only thing that seems to be keeping most of these gamblers.

It's not like it's not a bad idea to have that kind of mindset or orientation though, of course you're going to be oriented towards winning so it's definitely a good idea to be disregarding the fact that some people have that in them, you know manifesting what they want to become is a positive thing in my opinion. Of course never chase your losses as it's evident that doing so would only lead to more losses but can you really blame someone when they're this focused on winning? They've lost a lot already and most of them just really want to just get a win so they don't feel bad about themselves.

Regarding chasing losses, how do we know that we're chasing losses though? There's definitely some time where you're not really chasing losses though, 5 losses in a row isn't considered in my opinion, I'm confused because some people might see 5 as chasing losses but I believe that it should be a much higher number or something and at the same time, it affects your game and the strategies you employ if the game requires you.

It's ok to chase your losses as long as you're using money that you can afford to lose,

The fact is that it will become more difficult in keeping track of time and and the amount you are use to or supposed to use because at that point of chasing your loss you are being controlled by emotion followed by drastic decisions it becomes devasting and you may loss again and again. you  just need to calm your mind take a break and probably see a better options before striking.

I read this kind of post many times here in bitcointalk and my answer will always be the same. This means you're chasing losses in gambling and trying to win back money you've lost by betting more. It's risky because it can lead to even bigger losses. It's better to avoid this kind of behavior and take break if you think yourself doing it. Only gamble with what you're willing to afford to lose. It means only spend money on gambling that you're okay with losing. Don't gamble with money you need for important things like bills or savings or you will end up in financial trouble.

One of the worst mistakes most gamblers make is thinking they can control and cheat the system. Some gamblers do believe they can have control over everything, but they just go in with little money, make some heavy wins, and move out.

Some even go as far as putting their hope to pay bills in their gambling results, which is one of the worst things to do as a gambler, and when they have this mindset and feeling, they ought to make bad gambling decisions, which lead to me losing always in gambling, and trying to recover that loss will lead to more losses.

Well I understand that there was a huge loss and to some it is a little  loss but I want us all to understand and remember that bitcoin is just a product in a market which can either appreciate or depreciate....

We should never allow emotion to believe clouds our minds that we have forgotten so fast that we are in an open market that the fact that bitcoin is appreciating doesn't means that it will not depreciate that's why I said we should allow tell people to invest with more cautiousness because things like downtrend of crypto currencies are bound to.happened any time any place so to the appropriate appreciation of the value also.............

Meanwhile bitcoin still remains the master of all coins we should not forget that bitcoin is still reigning

Thanks 🙏👍

would you mind elaborating when you say "It is best to gamble when necessary"? As much as I love gambling and the fun and entertainment it gives me I don't see when gambling is necessary(just to be clear I am talking about the context of this topic). anyway, I completely agree that everyone should never gamble with the reason of trying to chase their losses, it is a bad habit that could lead to more problems not just financially but mentally too.

I have the feeling that the OP is referring to situations like your favourite team or athlete is playing, and you know very well the odds and the probability of winning is high. So for you, it is quite necessary to bet because your winning chance is quite high.

But on the note of being the case that best to gamble when necessary? I don't think it is necessary to gamble, this is quite personal choice and you can always opt not to gamble your money especially if you are in tight budget.

Totally agree with you and usually if we chase losses then we will usually experience even bigger losses, and that will only make the situation worse. Maybe because when chasing losses we play with emotion or in a hurry as you said

Like if we play on a day where we don't have much luck, then no matter how many times we try and make a deposit we will still lose. The best way is to forget about the losses we experienced and play again when our financial condition is good and we are not angry or emotional. I've experienced it before, chasing losses is a way to increase losses

It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money
We go back to the reasoning that all of us must gamble for fun. Yes, we do gamble for fun but can't remove that fact that we're also gambling to win and win some back of those losses that we've incurred as we gamble. That's always the case for most gamblers that we are gambling because we want to win and want to win some but in the end, we're losing and losing more because we can't stop that desire once we're already hooked into it. No matter how hard you try to stop when all you want is to gamble and win back, you'll get more losses the more you try to chase them.

Chasing up losses is the reason behind frequent failure in gambling. Most times when people loss, they lost out of negligence and curiousity or trying to prove an unreasonable fact of getting back there lost fund by all means, and they will chase after more loses than win.
It's essential that a gambler will want to chase their losses. I'm not justifying them because I am one of those the guilty ones that have been chasing my losses. But there are times that I do realize that it is just covering lose after lose and making me lose more money. When you happen to be in that state and you realize that you're not doing good, all you want to do is to stop and just take the losses and accept it because no matter what you do, those losses are already permanent and you just give that call a day and stop so that it won't be adding more losses on your end.

At first as a gambler you have to control your greed level whenever this is control then you can never chase lose while gambling in for instance, when most people are gambling they are summing up the total amount which includes also potential winning they would gain in that bet and places their bets, at this point greed is already running on that person. As a gambler your aren't meant to count all this what you should is to just gamble naturally and when winning comes you can add up as plus to you instead of allowing greed to control before place your bet, when you lose you would always want to go chase the lost.

When necessary. I think I like that.

In the past, I chased losses of x3000 in casino games. I know it will be difficult to get it back considering most games don't just give out that kind of amount in one blink. So what I did was slowly get it back by winning x100 in one game then get out. I didn't recover it all but somehow made an x1000 by jumping from one game to another. Now, forgetting the x2000 losses will be the problem. You will always think about it even if you don't want to. There will be times that you may even have nightmares about it.
Still, we have to keep our composure and just forget about it so that we can think straight with our next bets. It will not be easy to make the right decision when we are still imprisoned with our losses. All we will think about is having revenge and wanting to get it all back in rapid method.

I could remember long time ago when I played gamble and lost, I was very navours and aggressive to win my loses and at the end I lost all and even played with my reserved fund after that incident I have never did such thing again.

The first rules of gambling is that, don’t gamble because you want to make money, if you can gamble because of money, then you might end up regretting doing that. If you are gambling and you are already losing heavily, just stop gambling at that particular moment, never think of winning back your money, because the more you think of winning back your loss, the more you keep on losing.

That’s why when you gambling, just do it with the little amount you can afford to lose, if you can lose the money, then stop gambling, don’t deposit more money money in your gambling account just because you are planning to recover the amount you have lost previously. Most people that do fight to recover their loss are the once that gamble with the amount which they can’t afford to lose.
