In a way this is very frustrating, and cryptsy acknowledging they have problems is somewhat comforting.

But I am not sure they give the real reason (tech issues??, really). When I withdrew my coins i had to wait a few hours (but i got a verified account). Getting verified now is a little late but you sure can try it, and see if it shortens the waiting period.

I had to purchase altcoins like DGB and ETH then transferred to BITTREX to get my BTC out of Cryptsy. Things went downhill at Cryptsy when they set up their tier system.

I still have some coins in Cryptsy and want to take them out, so I can exchange them on another exchange. Anyone got a nice suggestion for a coin with just a small lost because ratings are terrible at the moment.

There are many trusted exchanges besides gemini too
Bitfinex is one of them, been using their servoce with no problem or anything Wink

But yeah we never know whrn they will turn into scam or similar

Yeah I was thinking to change my btc to another coin, then withdraw on bittrex but I dont trust them anymore so fuck it.

They answered my ticket to reactivate one of my account in like 5 minutes. It was Leah that made the call, the ''leader'' of cryptsy, but strangely, no answer about the pending withdrawal and got locked on chat. I saw a lot of people complaining on the chat about the same issue and they got ban as well.

I went to withdrawal my holdings at crypties (about $75 worth of shitcoins) after reading here about the problems they were having.

I first tried to withdraw it all and was warned that I was over my daily withdraw limit. I lol'ed as it figured I made a mistake but no, tier 0 (you didnt think I would trust them with my info did ya?) gets only $25 withdraw limit a day, 100$ a month. What a joke, I wonder if they limit the deposits too, prob not.

So I reduced it to 0.05btc (22.50$), that was 3 days ago, I filed a claim today reporting the problem.

I did noticed the prices were way off from everyone else and immediately thought 'Goxxed again', and now consider those funds gone. Hopefully I will get my coins that I didn't really need (why else would I store them there) but what a bummer for those who that was all they had, or noobs just trying out cryptos for first time. Getting burned does leave a foul taste in ones mouth.

yeah we seen that before. The funny part here is they allow people to deposit. But they don't allow them to withdraw. Just if they don't already know the Exchange is dead as hell.

It might take about 10 days to withdraw from Cryptsy. There is no point doing arbitrage using Cryptsy and other exchanges.

i abandoned cryptsy long time ago, when they started to being a dick with their slow support, despite their nice volume i dismissed them completely

now they seems like a scammer, too bad because they are still among the few exchange that were never violated
