This life really look somehow. I keep wondering why people won't be happy about people's success. I really pity this guy. But he caused most of this thing himself. Must he go home to show his village people he is rich. Why did he go with his car? Even if he didn't fall a victim of kidnapping, the witches and wizards of his community that doesn't want his success will definitely attack him. Is it a most for us to flaunt on what we have. This is one of the problems of most Nigerians.

This is a very sad story and a pitiful one, May God replenish the loss for him bountifully. I am not a fan of deleting messages from my phone, you can find messages of two years ago in my smart phone because I don’t like deleting them and always think that it will serve a purpose or reference to something in the future. After reading this your story, I will have a rethink of it and maybe clear sensitive ones like the ones from the bank. I don’t really visit my hometown that often and the people there can’t be so cruel to get you kidnapped and demand for ransom through that method. What a very touching story. One thing i amm very cautious of is me going out with freinds whenever i come back home. I understand the fact that when we were growing up things were cool as freinds and we know each other inside and out. But after a long time we are grown up so many person have taking different paths in life. Some are good while some are bad.

This is why i always stay home and dont like coming out to gather with freinds during this season.  Food and drinks i take i always get them by myself to avoid any form of harm. Op, thank you for this informative post, I'll also mention that those kidnappers were tipped off by a family member or one of the guy's friends for the initial kidnap,  kidnappers checks everything about you while in their den, from your communication, to the messages, to your bank account contents. So I believe they checked the guy's account balance by themselves and increased the Ransome. If proper investigations are  carried out on this issue, you'll be surprised on who the mastermind of this  kidnap is. We should also stay low-key this celebration period as the nation is facing serious insecurity challenges, so we'll not be scape goats to these bad eggs.

As em don turn out to be sae, we can't hide bank account details from kidnappers or people wey we know even though we delete them.
