I don't belief in good news from strangers online, they are sharing it for a purpose and they are always ready to show you but the truth is it's all lies, in the end money will be asked to deposit in some address and you ain't getting that money back

Honestly, if you don't have enough experience in this field then fake news will affect you. As we saw it yesterday, fake giveaway news was spread by hacking big Twitter accounts. Many people later sent bitcoin after that trap. So there is no substitute for caution.

If it was Telegram then I can understand but even Twitter now is a bad place too. Famous Twitter account got hacked with "sent $1 and we will double that amount" bullcrap scam? Wtf?
Twitter has become a very bad platform since a long time ago and facebook is much more safer than twitter in term of security. it was creating by scammers and so many people have been getting trapped caused by that.
This hacker case is rarely happened with FB

You are browsing through Twitter or telegram and you come in contact with news like this '𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝  Mr George Anderson ịt has been a life changing experience and a God sent to humanity 𝙞𝙣𝙗𝙤𝙭 𝙝im 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚'

When ever you come across such it's a total scam, it's never real to begin with, it's just a fake good news to lure you into a trap, do not bother to read

The fact is people who make it big aren't always ready to share news about how they do it
Obviously it is another tactic from scammers and sadly many people still fall for such things even they know that making money is not so easy and i fully agree with your point that if someone is making loads of money why he will even want you to tell you his secret it is just a trap to make people invest in their ponzi schemes where everyone loses in the end.

Regarding the theme, it's not to be doubted that many people get carried away by any type of news and rely on social networks to set up their investment or research on. Unfortunately, there are two paths we can take:

First:
Search for information on official forums like Bitcointalk. This path is the basis of everything and strengthens your searches on other sites

Second:
Consult social media and news sites. This path is not bad but you are subject to pitfalls imposed by advertisers with negative intentions.

In general it is very sad to see people lose large amounts of money by reading a manipulative news.

There are a lot of fake news out there luring people and scamming them , take for instance what happened yesterday on twitter a lot of gullible people fell for it . How could one ever fall for that trash of sending 1 btc and getting 2 btc ? anyone who cares to give back to the society genuinely wont ask you to send money first to his account . we need to be more careful about fake news.

It's all lies, those who make real life changing money or profits will never go around telling people to inbox them for the strategy, it's simply a way of luring their victims, do not trust such moves

If someone tells me to inbox him to "change my life", i would instantly be suspicious. His motives of trying to lure you or scam you becomes clear by just looking at the texts he wrote.
If a guy really wants to help you with no string attached, why would he tell you to inbox him? He can just say everything publicly and also help others in the process. Too bad if someone falls for those scam. And some people are actually paid for making those tweets. I am not against paid promotion, but it is the responsibility of those people who promote to check the authenticity.

Nowadays, through social media and some telegram communities, by spreading various kinds of fake news about various projects and altcoins, they make them the subject of interest to the people and try to make a huge profit out of it. In some cases, big whale traders try to take advantage of these activities by making the market go up or down which is not understandable to the common traders. As a result, most new traders and investors fall prey to fraud and are inadvertently deceived. So the decision should be made by analyzing and collecting the correct information by checking and sorting without being attracted to fake good news.
Well, some social media and even Google once banned crypto ads because quite a lot of scammer ads are spread, it's just that now they are all back to receiving crypto. because of this, we need to be careful in describing some information, because we do not know which false news allows the market to move.

That was seriously a cheap and obvious trap to scam people. I guess no one that is already here for too long in crypto will be lured by such message foe it is really an indecent and informal way of encouraging people to get into such schemes. Maybe the new ones might be caught into such trap so still it is very alarming to think that such spam messages have been circulating on the Telegram platform. So it is right move to let other people know about this so that no one will be victimized of such act.

At first glance you will be really suspicious about something like that most specially if you have just created your account and received such message. But new ones are still falling for that one since they are not aware that they are being targeted by those scammers that are working on a dirty way just to earn money from other people. We must raise an awareness about this to avoid people from keep on falling into such traps specially for the new ones since they are the one who is directly affected an being targeted by such schemes.

Do people still fall for such scam. It is one of the oldest one if  Remember it correctly. I saw it for the first time way back in 2012. I thought of it and was interested but one of my friend told me at that time it was a scam.
I think yes because they won't keep doing it if they are able to get anything from doing it, I mean there still new or not even know what cryptocurrency is and they are the one that can easily be attracted form such scam scheme epsecially in these trying times people are looking for some alternative ways to earn money from being laid off of work.

Too good to be true news are very dangerous to those who are new to crypto, it's certain that greed will kick in if you are a newbie, the most popular one is doublers scheme, promising to double your Bitcoin or Ethereum and after you made the first deposit it they will vanish into thin air
It's very sad to see that these days, there are so many people who still believed in the too good to be true news. Sometimes the experienced traders can also be plunged into the hole that has already made by the manipulators to create a short term hype.

Even there are already lots of reported cases with this same scheme, people's greed still killing them to risk their money
and patronizing this kind of business. There's still mindset that if you join first the chance to earn still possible not considering
that there are people who will losses their money after you.

If the problem is greedy, it's not only the newbie that will disappear, people who are experienced will also disappear if you put forward the greed in this crypto, because now the fraudsters in crypto are very clever in making new traps.

I agree with the OP, that it is a scam. They delete a few tweets or posts that fail in trading predictions and leave a successful one. But I am surprised there are still several cases of users who fall into the trap.
Almost all signal providers are doing the same because they need to attract new subscribers for their house. I guess we must do any big initiatives to spread common awareness against such scams so that people will not fall into these kinds of crap anymore. One safe practice must be we should not listen to any Internet strangers even we are following them or they are in the same group where we are also participating like telegram groups.

I think we can't give everyone a warning, that depends on the investors or traders as some of them are lazy to make research although there's a lot of information online that are vital to help them make a good decision. These scammers still exist because they still have the market of innocent investors, but let the investors learn from their mistakes so they will learn.
There are really some people who are too lazy to do research about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology for them to be aware on what projects that are promising enough to help them earn good profit, that is why they mostly end up getting scam because of their overconfidence and lack of knowledge that they always think they could gain money by just investing in crypto

Definitely I will not take any investment or trading decisions based on the news I am getting from non-reliable resources. Because, a finance related decision should be done only after strong analysis which must be including both fundamental and technical. When we are having some certain procedure to be followed before every investment thing then we can avoid to be trapped by all kind of scam attempts.

These kind of news and updates have been spamming several crypto groups on Telegram and its becoming a common tool and way through which scammers lure unsuspecting people into their cheap scams. They get you interested with false claims and have you join their so called VIP subscription groups and then either sell you spywares and malwares as robots or they take your subscription fee and disappear without offering you anything in return. We all must be very careful.
Yeah this true. Telegram is like scum seat. In bitcointalk you can report them as scam or etc. But telegram isn't reportable unfortunately.
