Lol. I rally wish this will come true. It is so frustrating to read new threads everyday regarding their opinion about this merits system. When will they learn to accept that such system really exist? Yes, we have this freedom of expression but it's really annoying now. At first, I give my sympathy, but now. Gosh, i really hope there is a negative merit.

I'm not going to confess or deny that allegation. I like to be mysterious sometimes. I will allow the members of bitcointalk speculate my intentions.

I really want to stress that I, being as humble and selfless as I am, has caused some to be bitter and resentful towards me. This reminds me of when Jesus was being persecuted. I'm not saying that we are in a significant way similar, but just pointing out the fact that there are similarities in both of our situations.

I'd also like to remind everyone not to GIVE ME MERIT!

In some aspect, negative merits are almost the same as demerit function which has been rejected by lots of higher ranked users in the forum. Therefore, i don't think that your ideas will be implemented by Theymos.

It's just a forum, people, relax, spammers, trolls, scammers, they are everywhere in the internet and it's quite troubling to me that people are more concerned about spammers than scammers here, at the end of the day I couldn't care less about spammers from third world countries. Scammers on the other hand are a problem to everyone and more so to the entire crypto community than spammers. Can we concentrate our efforts in stopping scammers instead of focusing so much on merit/spam/signatures?
