Bitcoin is indeed a profitable investment. However, if you just want to invest because other people are telling you to do so or you just want to be in profits like them, then don’t invest at the moment. You still have a lot of questions and hesitations in your mind that only you can answer once you have acquired knowledge in the crypto market. For now, understand your planned investment first and try to evaluate yourself if you are really prepared to invest and lose in the process. Because if not, I suggest learn first from the experiences of other people, that way you can ask yourself if you still want to take the risk or you just want to play safe and decide not to get out from your comfort zone.

Anyone that has a sufficient capital to invest is allow to invest, but never expect that you will get immediate profits because its certainly losses that newbies mostly incur the first time they invest.

I believe you should not invest based on other people's advice because whatever happens in the investment is your responsibility. If you experience a loss, the person who advised you has no right to be blamed, nor if you make a profit, you have the right not to give anything to the advice. Before you invest, make sure you are ready with free money and also several YouTube tutorials on technical and fundamental analysis can help you as a beginner learn at least one month before starting.
It's not so bad if he reads or listens to other people's advice because he can learn valuable insights and expand his perspective from others who have invested in bitcoin before him. Additionally, since other people have invested in bitcoin before him, their opinions and failures may help him avoid some of the pitfalls that other investors have had to deal with. He will also benefit from learning more about bitcoin, which will enable him to make a knowledgeable decision about whether to invest in it and how it can benefit him. I think that was a good start. That's why this forum was created to give him advice or an idea of what path he is on. We are only here to talk about and help resolve some people's concerns about whether or not to invest in any cryptocurrencies. After all, it is his money, therefore, it is up to him whether he listens to us or not.

you have a point, It's also good that we know someone who invested in bitcoin earlier because all their advices will surely helps us, in that way we can improve our actions and avoid things that should be avoided but it is also true that whatever happens in our decisions and actions is all our responsibility. if things doesn't go in our way, we can't blame anyone else, not other people and especially not ourself. Let's learn from the mistakes we will experience because that will lead us to a good life.

I think what you need right now is to educate yourself on what is Bitcoin and how it can be productive and profitable for us. Know the risks in bitcoin investment and make sure you understand well how bitcoin investment works. Otherwise, don't jump into investing when you lack knowledge and greed is all you have since they might only lead you into losing a huge amount.

And for your information, this guy is most likely a scammer that is trying to put you on his own trap. No one can access and open your wallet except you since you have your own private keys. If he's telling you to share your private keys so he can help you with your investment, then get rid of him immediately. He's up for your funds, not actually to lend a helping hand.

Being aware of where you are going to invest your money and the benefits and drawbacks of bitcoin will be beneficial because investing in bitcoin will present new challenges each time having knowledge about how to overcome these challenges will be helpful, understand how to profit from your bitcoin investments. If you don't know how to do this, you will simply go bankrupt because you will try practically everything and end up losing money because you didn't research the matter thoroughly prior to committing the investment.

People are getting scammed every day and it will continue because they don't do their due diligence. Therefore, they will persuade them to bring their private keys, which they will then give out so that they appear humble. There are jumpers who test everything and find that it is good, but they are knowledgeable despite all the advice given here to be knowledgeable. They are still making investments without knowing how to avoid it, how to use media to take benefit of the market.

He said, he will open my bitcoin wallet and help to buy bitcoins. Should I invest in bitcoin?

In this case, you are actually doubling the risk of losing your money. First, you haven't understand what and how bitcoin works, so you'll probably get surprised when price jumps a couple of grand in just a few hours and most probably panic sell when bitcoin will experience a sharp dip or a prolonged bear season. Secondly, your friend my get tempted discreetly stealing some fractions of your bitcoin transferred to his own wallet.

You actually just found this community created by Satoshi, so I guess you're good in doing your own research. I suggest you should do the same research on how to buy and sell bitcoin on your own. It's not as complex as understanding the blockchain technology.
Should you invest in bitcoin? Well, most of us will say Yes because this is a community where majority is a bitcoin enthusiast, but just like what I've said, you should do the digging first so you will come up with your own answer on whether or not investing in bitcoin is for you.

$500 is quite good amount of money to invest in Bitcoin. You don't need to invest in Bitcoin with huge money in the early of your journey in Bitcoin investment. Just get sufficient knowledge and experience first, then you can increase your funds in Bitcoin investment.

If someone has $500 to invest in Bitcoin, I would suggest they do DCA and buy $50 or $100 a week. Did you notice the recent movement we had earlier? Bitcoin was over $45.5K and then suddenly it touched 41K in an hour. This was the perfect opportunity to buy some sats. If they use centralized exchanges, it's easy to place orders with limits.

You could place buy orders at several price ranges so you don't miss the dip. But, I do not recommend anyone using centralized exchanges even though I use them. Some centralized exchanges implement DCA methods too. Users could set up their preferred settings to buy Bitcoin.

Anyone can invest in bitcoin but investing without knowing its investment well is like investing to lose your money. And I don't want you to experience like that, hence gain knowledge on bitcoin first and understand the basic when it comes to investing. Learned from the other members experiences as well as they come to share their profits and losses after taking bitcoin investment. If you are ready to take the risk and is aware already how to secure your wallet, then that's the time that you will invest on the amount you can afford to lose.

Also, it is not safe that someone is creating or opening your bitcoin wallet as mentioned by the OP.
It is always best to do it on your own. As he is already in this forum, he can read thread after thread how to create or install wallet.
Don't let someone create your account or installed a wallet. That's never a safe route.
Learn first and assess the risks involved. If you feel you are ready, you can start investing small up until you have your full grasp of things.

One of my acquaintance suggested me to invest some money in Bitcoin. I told him how many dollars to invest and he said as much as I am willing to invest. I made up my mind that I would invest $500 but i am confused. I don't know much about Bitcoin so the person gave me the link to this website and suggest me to know about the various opinions of users on various topics.
You must understand first everything about Bitcoin before you invest your money. You can learn Bitcoin in this forum, read the articles, or watch YT Video. There are too many sources to learn Bitcoin nowadays. It is very necessary to understand Bitcoin and how to invest in a proper way. It is too risky to invest in Bitcoin if you don't know Bitcoin, you don't understand how the investment works, and you don't have an idea about Bitcoin price history.

$500 is quite good amount of money to invest in Bitcoin. You don't need to invest in Bitcoin with huge money in the early of your journey in Bitcoin investment. Just get sufficient knowledge and experience first, then you can increase your funds in Bitcoin investment.

You are absolutely correct in what you say. To begin with, I fully support the promise of Bitcoin, however you are correct: information is power, particularly in the cryptocurrency space. Taking a risk without knowing? You have my friend on a collision course.

I agree on this point. Information and knowledge are quite important in this case so that there is no miss in application when we are in bitcoin it would be great if we are more thorough and continue to pay attention to what we lack.
Currently there is a lot of information about bitcoin either on the Internet but this can be a positive and negative side especially for those new people who are still learning bitcoin.

The positive side is that we will be easy to get news or sources from anywhere about bitcoin but on the other hand there are a number of things that need to be considered because the negative effect is that not all we can trust because there could be articles or news that actually lead us to the wrong opinion. From this we must be really observant when learning about what bitcoin is when we seriously want to be in it.

Should I invest money with the suggestion of that guy? He told me that if I invest I will get good profit. He said, he will open my bitcoin wallet and help to buy bitcoins. Should I invest in bitcoin?

Many people get scammed because of trusting strangers and based on your story, that was not far from happening.
@OP, you better stay with that guy and ask no help from him. You may appreciate how he helps you now but be careful, the next thing that may happen will be your nightmare.

There are a lot of tutorials about how to create a wallet address, you can make your own rather than letting someone (strangers) do it. Had to think that NOBODY should know your keys/password aside from you or else, the safety of your wallet be compromised.

Your funds might be at risk by then if he can open your wallet. My only advice is don't invest blindly and don't trust strangers when it comes to your money and investment. Surely, he's only taking advantage of your ignorance and has definitely plan to scam you if you let him access your wallet.

It's like you really have no idea investing in bitcoin. With that, don't invest when you're not ready yet. Gain more knowledge and experience first in the market before you enter bitcoin investment. If you think you're good enough, invest at your own risk. Put an amount that you can afford to lose, not too big and not too small either. And lastly, never entrust your investment to other people. Work on your own investment without relying from other people. Experience will be your best teacher so learn on your own through your initial experience in the market.

Generally, investing in bitcoin is indeed profitable, but it all depends on your current financial situation and how patient you are.

First, you have to be financial stable in the sense that, after investing, you can just forget about that money invested in bitcoin for atleast, a year or more depending on the season that we are in.
Not being good financially may mean that, you may end up not allowing your investment to proper grow before Harvesting it.

And also good to know is that, you should not trust anybody to set up an account of any kind for you, and neither a wallet, you are here on this forum already, here, you can learn to do all this things your self, and when you do, keep your keys safe, do not leave your bitcoin on the centralized exchange where you bought it, it's very risky to do so, withdraw your bitcoins to your private wallet and make sure to keep the keys to your wallet safe, losing the keys simply means, losing your bitcoins.

Good luck from here.

you should not believe in anyone but your self instead ask here for all the instead believe in your self , and also guiding is this forum expertise so you are in good hands , never believe  in any suggestion that you don't completely understand mate.,because if you lose? you lose alone.
Actually, trusting advice from someone or several people is not a problem, as long as the advice has been proven by the person giving the advice quite completely. Because in this forum there are also many different suggestions and responses so the OP has to read it slowly from one suggestion to another, although the key in essence is to fully believe in himself for what he has researched. And also don't put too much faith in what many people have said unless OP has researched it herself after reading more advice given by others.

Welcome to the forum OP

You need learn first about bitcoin and site for purchasing bitcoin indeed you want to be long term or short term investor is not matter depend which one of profitable do you want to earn profit later. As beginner you need to know right side of bitcoin investment or place to buy bitcoin or sell it later if raise to higher price. Before investing in bitcoin, you must know about risk of investing some time price on the top and another time bitcoin will drop to lower price.
Patience is the key become success in bitcoin investment, don't be panic when facing moment going to lower price and don't be hurry for selling bitcoin if price going drop.

Specifically, you need to understand everything about bitcoin before you begin your journey on it because if you don't understand anything about bitcoin, if you invest in it, the market will likely favor you and you will profit, but if the market doesn't go well and you start losing your funds, you won't be happy and you will start complaining about bitcoin being a scam because you didn't get enough knowledge on it before you started, and how you said is your friend that introduce you to invest in bitcoin I believe he has accomplished something on it, and I am confident he understands a great deal about it and he likes to introduce you to get money on it, that your friend is a nice person but what I will like you to do now is that you should recognize everything about bitcoin don't rely on your friend that he will be guiding you anytime just be researching by yourself and understand the systems very well so that he can minimize your risk.
You are absolutely correct in what you say. To begin with, I fully support the promise of Bitcoin, however you are correct: information is power, particularly in the cryptocurrency space. Taking a risk without knowing? You have my friend on a collision course.

Speaking now about your friend. It is admirable that he is interested in Bitcoin, but you cannot follow in the footsteps of others. Take a deep breath and dive in! Research, technological understanding, and market trends are all your responsibility. A high learning curve is undoubtedly present, but thats all part of the fun!

I would like to stress that Bitcoin is not a scheme to get rich soon. This innovative technology has its high points and low points. That being said, buckle up, finish your homework, and never forget that the journey is just as essential as the goal!

Hello everybody, how are you?

In this forum i am new and proud to be here as a member of this forum. Heard there is a lot of discussion about Bitcoin so I came to join here for my own needs. Hope you all will help me. I don't have a good idea about cryptocurrencies. I just know that investing in Bitcoin is extremely profitable. But I don't know how to do it. Since I see that Bitcoin is always discussed , I want your suggestions about my Bitcoin investment.

Should I invest money with the suggestion of that guy? He told me that if I invest I will get good profit. He said, he will open my bitcoin wallet and help to buy bitcoins. Should I invest in bitcoin?
Welcome to the Bitcoin Forum. Everything you heard about Bitcoin from your friend is true. Bitcoin investment is definitely profitable but you have to invest at the right time. But you can use any amount to invest there is no fixed amount to invest. But my advice for you would be to learn about Bitcoin first. If you can gain experience about Bitcoin, you can definitely gain experience about investing. If you don't have any knowledge about bitcoin investment then you can lose your investment. If your friend trusts you then you can keep the investment in the wallet given by your friend. And if you have a little conflict then don't invest in the wallet opened by your friend. Always keep the investment in your own created wallet to hold the investment. The most important thing is that no one can steal the seed phrase of your invested wallet.

Should I invest money with the suggestion of that guy? He told me that if I invest I will get good profit. He said, he will open my bitcoin wallet and help to buy bitcoins. Should I invest in bitcoin?

It is not advisable to seek help from others when purchasing bitcoin. This is because if they have access to your wallet or seed phrase, they can use your bitcoin without your consent. Although your friend's intentions may be good, it is not safe to let others assist you with buying bitcoin. It is best to invest in bitcoin on your own and keep your bitcoin address, seed phrase, and the amount of bitcoin you own private. Revealing this information may put you in danger, so it is important not to share this information with anyone.
Asking other people for help in buying assets in the form of Bitcoin is certainly a very bad thing, because it is possible that these people can take advantage of our lack of understanding about Bitcoin and make a profit for themselves, it would be better for us to seek knowledge about the basics of Bitcoin investment so that we can do it ourselves and only ask people we can trust if we don't understand the investment we are making.
Of course, a very important thing to do when investing in Bitcoin is to be able to properly protect the Bitcoin wallet address and not tell anyone about the initial phrase to anyone except family whom we can trust.
