McAfee doesn't seem all too educated with cryptocurrencies anyway, heard a few interviews with him speaking and some of the stuff he was talking about was just clearly incorrect..

His name slaps to one of popular anti-virus program so that's where his fame comes from. In crypto world, people buy and sell base on trust or big name more than anything.

the way I see it he is just speaking his mind and promoting alts that'll make him most money. that's what most people do on twitter so you have to do your research and go from there.

He is not just speaking his mind, this is crazy what he is doing and action like this is what will attract more regulations to the space, because he is influential and has big presence in the space he decided to be using this influence to pump tokens at will, do you want to tell me there won't be any inside trading here

If you have time on your hands, buy his recommendations and sell with a nice profit shortly after. In general, however, I agree with the OP, he's not promoting coins based on validity but simply on how much they appear to be paying him.

He is not pumping the coin but, reviewing the more valuable coins that are undervalued and legitimate than the other scam projects that is for pump and dump games obviously.
Im not supporting and not participating in his coin of the day/week, i just observed that some whales are taking advantage of his review to make a quick profit.

like what? he is explaining and telling people what he knows about the project. People now has an idea or option to further study the project.
