Yes, that can easily be seen. However, it looks like ETH is on the rise, so it awaits to be seen how things work out. I guess all we can do is wait for how things turn out.

Bottom line, don't sell, especially not to USD or any other fiat currency. The best thing to do is hold or trade. This is not the end of the line for Bitcoin, so I see no reason to sell.

This is one of most reason why people loose in trading because of their uncontrolled emotion. If you are really confident with your bitcoin then don't sell on panic because for sure you will loose. Hodl bitcoin, it will gives you more profit in the future, be more patient.

Very much agreed, though you also have to look at the amount of FUD being spread by the media to those that are not so confident in BTC. This is what is causing the crash.

who is panicking? only the clever guys who succumbed to the hype
and bought their coins at 17k+ they kind of deserved their squeaky bum moments
but those who bought at 11-12k should not worry at all,it is a temporary correction
it is highly unlikely the price will tank the year to come
and it is probably going all the way to 25.000$ and more

Actually, in this current time, many users of cryptocurrencies are afraid because of this big fall of the bitcoin price. As well, In my opinion, this drop has been of great benefit to many users because when the price has risen to 18K then many Jobs have become few because of the higher payment.
In fact, this is the right moment to buy a big value of bitcoin and also to hold and invest them because it is very expected that the price will be more huge in the near future (like 30K or 50K).

To begin with, it would be very foolish for someone to invest a very large amount on the peak of price.

If (IF) they did, i am sure they're very able investors and have foreseen something that we've failed to, they must be holding their bitcoins for this. Remember, you only loose when you sell below of what you buy, i would rather hold forever than to loose. To begin with, i won't ever invest in bitcoin at a peak, i think i've gained this much trading sense over the few years of my experience.

I am not denying the fact that there aren't any foolish people like this, i personally know a person who took massive loss in this bloom, i tried to help him but he never payed heed to me, i guess old lads can't gulp down the concept of cryptos correctly.

This new trend of alts market going up is quite awesome. It's another opportunity for the traders to invest in the potential coins. BTC market cap has decreased from 60% in the mid of December 38% till December 31. This shift of market cap is clearly showing the growth of altcoins. Altcoin such as ripple and cardano are on fire. I bought XRP in November at $0.13 and now it's price is above $2, this price increase is adorable.

Do not panic. Hold, even though the price keeps dropping. The price may even go down to 10K, but then the mainstream will step in and the price will rise again. March 2018 the price will hit 30K and at the end of the year it will be 40K.

Right. Patience will be your life saver in times like these. Avoid trading so you wo 't get anxious. As mucb as possible keep your attention away from the price changes. Sooner or later btc will stabilize in a way and then continue its upward trend so just sit tight and enjoy the holidays instead of stressing yourself out

I always hold bitcoin when it goes down when it rises rapidly I just sell bitcoin at a high price in order to earn more profit. Grin

thank you for giving us a motivation because some of us now including me are still pretty nervous and worried about the current state of bitcoin because bitcoins price is still dropping like a bomb from time to time and yet it drives me sometimes to panic but im still holding for my dear life until january 2018 because i think this dip is just a seasonal effect of december but at soon as 2017 has passed bitcoin will hopefully recover and willl be back again to the game for another new season.

I don't understand the mentality of people's started selling when they see a little price drop. Every holder should be calm and keep waiting to see the real heights of Bitcoin. Still we have see a massive growth in Bitcoin. I suggest you to keep on hold instead of dumping.

If that comes to reality people will be cherishing, while looking at the present scenario automatically panic will get initiated making the people to sell. I do not know why people keep attributing this to Christmas. A fall can happen anytime and we have had some huge percentage dips even in this year alone and previous years that was not even at the end of the year.

Nevertheless, there really is no need for anyone to panic, it is the way things are meant to be after some parabolic bullish move and now we just hope that the scaling issue even come by to save the day to see some bulls moving in. Because everything is temporary.

The bulls were temporary and definitely the bears will also have some time to go and rest as well. This is a very fluctuated market and we already know the reason why that is but for now, it is something we have to keep living with as it would still continue until the scaling issue is solved and we get to see the main value of bitcoin and not just some greedy set of people trying to opt in for the profit.

Yeah, this year has been crazy experience with big movements in one direction and the other, I think right now people are just taking a rest, and are recharging their batteries to come back with a huge strength in the next year, so I'm not worried about what it is happening right now.
