Doesn't UNIKRN do this with their erc token?
https://unikrn.com

Also Dmarket.
But I don't think OP should be scared. There is a demand. Smiley

a platform for playing DotA 2 for money, I have an idea how to make it more popular and thought out with the help of a blockchain.

What do you think of it?

Me as gamer too I'm glad though but is this legit? , can you pm me cause I want to earn money online and now I'm on vacation though it's kind of boring though, i want to play dota 2 while earning.
A bit strange with ads like this, they are taking the popularity and giving an interesting flavor that is money.
anyone will be interested to play spend their time.
I'm not interested though this makes money. too bad to speculate

Hi!

Is the project still alive? What are your thoughts about Dota 2 plus?
I don't think so that this is still alive. OP's last reply was on December 25. About Dota 2 plus, one advantage of it is you know if you are getting enough net worth and you can compare yourself if you are playing well with that much though it has some other features too. Have you purchased it?

I don't play Dota 2 now.

 But it's a cool stuff. I spent 30 bucks on Dotabuff+ in 2017 when I played frequently.
I dont know if that Dota plus is considered as a traditional battle pass. What you think? For me its a no, since if you do try to compare the price of that subscription it do last for a year on maximum and we do know that battle pass is only good for a season but the thing i do like with that dota plus is the features that it gives which do give a guidance for players on enhancing theirselves on the game.Back in the topic where OP just asking for having the idea of applying blockchain transactions with dota 2 which it seems impossible thing as of now yet valve did already remove bitcoin as a mode of payment.

I spent a lot of money on Battle Pass(300 bucks). Dota + might be a BP 2.0, idk. For me it's a meh deal now.

Speaking about blockchain and dota(or esport) It's possible and I'm waiting for it. Currently Dota events are too centralized, hard to get into Esport.
Even myself wont really consider to take the deal of that dota plus.I dont see any special things on it to be worth to spend on.Unlike on that usual battle pass with sets then i would consider and ive been purchasing since the beginning of battle pass and im waiting for that event for this year.Talking about blockchain they might consider but it would really takes time and as i said earlier they dont like decentralized stuffs as they have remove bitcoin already.

Sad that Steam removed BTC, indeed.

Sets in Dota +  are so meh. It's uglier than 99% of Rares!
You are just entirely wasting up your money if you do plan to buy those shitty sets which their appearance is too ugly compared even into uncommon items. This is true that's why I don't waste a single penny just to buy any trending items or opening up caches.Yes they do already remove btc as a mode of payment but its still fine since my wallet do provide on crediting esports wallets which is a good thing.

What do you mean by wasting up your money?

I like to buy sets, but now they are just too ugly(Speaking about Dota +)

He mean, its a total waste of money, a completely useless purchase. He just seem to express it exaggeratedly,  since there are some users or players who kept on buying awful sets just because its the latest trend. It seriously need to stop, just like what the other players including you who notice the ugly sets that they're selling today.
I dont know if its a good thing or bad removing btc as an option for payment.

Thank you for the clarification.

I buy only good(my humble opinion ofc) sets. :-D

There is an ongoing crowdfunding for the project named "The Abyss" that is aiming to let players of a certain games as well with developers to earn by playing nor creating games. Unlike Steam, The Abyss offers a groundbreaking motivational and multilevel referral system, allowing gamers to earn from in-game and social activities, and other gamers’ payments as well. By joining The Abyss, developers will reduce their marketing expenses and receive an extra income from referral payments made in other games on the platform. Im not sure of them adding DOTA2 on their list but Im pretty confident that they would as this is one of the best games I have ever played.

After they removed bitcoin as a medium of payment I'm tired already on top-uping my own account on steam unlike before that I was too active on purchasing things because of the convenience that it gives but now they do change their plans and remove it into their options which do really sucks when I found out recently.

There are bets through casino through e-sports gaming and there are many of matches that you can bet with. And this thread created by OP "Dota 2 play for money" I don't know if he's pursuing this.

Its like an evolution of bets on online gaming. Dota is quite the most popular online games around the globe. People plays often with a pot money and is seen on a big screen. Its like converting fiat price with bitcoin. The target market is quite small. Imagine for example two million people are playing DOTA but only a hundred thousand of them have bitcoin account and that would be it.
