I have really made up my mind to accept Drake as gambler who looses a lot and also wins at times but my mind has not no criticism on his looses in gambling because he can really afford it.

I think it is even high time the media should overlook this guys gambling life because there are other whose gambling life is worth concentrating on for discussion such as those gambling and utilizing there winnings which is encouraging and those who looses and being affected on their bankrolls which is discouraging.

I can imagine how the media and not even any of you cares about monitoring my gambling life which I believe is because I gamble with just little amount of money which may not be a global attractive like the Drakes.

So to me, Drake is living his life and we do not know if we should say he is just an addicted gambler or a risky gambler but until then he airs out this emotions then his gambling life would be Worth call for discussion as much as he keep gambling.

Sure 500K USD in BTC is an incredibly awful losing bet. But his losing  is no wonder for me. Drake kinda likes to give a tickle to own nerves and ribs and it seems that his pockets never go drain. He also lost $565K bet with predicting the win of Fury in the famous Usik-Fury fight. Probably the sport betting is not his path of life.

Also pay attention on the odds of his bets. They are often way to risky.

I know this and that is why I had said  he " likes to give a tickle to own nerves ".

He can afford such "adds" because the A of his life is a popular music (which produces  considerable income) rather than betting. "As of June 2024, Drake’s net worth is estimated to be roughly $250 Million".  Having such money he can try virtually  any monkey business in gambling.

I still think that Drake does it on purpose to create hype in the betting world or in the portals where he plays, it's all a question of sponsors and advertising for the site he bets on, imagine being a casino that is interested in having new important customers and you think you have a singer followed by millions of people, you wouldn't be interested in having potential millions of customers who are interested in playing on your portal because they are willing to do anything to follow their idol, I'm not criticizing them I'm just saying that this is how it works and I don't see anything wrong with advertising, and most likely the money he lost won't even be his own Cheesy

What can we expect from him? Of course, that's a loss, and it's not new to him.

Him betting a huge amount of money every time is quite alarming if he is only showing big losses. Although he is a millionaire, he doesn't have unlimited money. This doesn't inspire us at all, but at least we can learn from his mistakes. So, does the curse continue? I'm just curious, though, when is he going to show big wins? Or is he intentionally showing his big losses to draw attention from the public? I don't know what his intention is aside from being known for promoting a casino.

The Drake Curse. Maybe he is following Charles Barkley. Cheesy

Well, we have seen Drake put more amount into every sport that he follows and loves but sadly just like other fans, he is using his emotions whenever he places his bets. It's not about analysis but more like the love for the team that he is rooting for.
Can we blame him? No. I made my own mistakes in the Finals of the NBA and I lost enough to be frustrated about it. Still, I did enjoy watching the game and cheering for my favorite team and I am guessing it's the same way with Drake win or lose.

Take a look on two links from my post. Or search in google for the information about bets he won. The guy is winning also, but people pay attention to his losses. The media has created an image of a bet loser, but I believe he does not mind of that or amounts he has lost, because he is a Stake.com influencer., and his fortune can allow him to risk and lose. Also pay attention on the odds of his bets. They are often way to risky. Even if he looses 3-5 bets, a single win will turn his final balance into zero or little (according to his fortune) loss.

Drake has lost way more bets than what I saw in the OP. Someone should do an analysis of all his bets and see what you’d have if you started with $1 and let your winnings ride on the opposite of whatever he bets. Seems like you’d be up quite a bit in the last couple years alone. I can’t remember the last time I saw Drake win a bet.

I just googled "Drake won bet" and got this and this as first and recent links. Recently I also used to think that Drake is only loosing, but media has created such vision about him. People dont like to read about other peoples success or luck. People are jealous and prefer to read how other fail and lose money. That is why we have this "Drake curse". Even if he shares all his wins and losses in social media, we most likely wont pay attention or find out if he wins. But if he losses, media will be full with articles about it.

Besides singing and acting Drake had made a name in the gambling sector. He can be added as one of the biggest gamblers in recent times. However, there has been suspicion that all these big bets are public stunts to promote a particular betting platform. It is well known that he gambles with a particular casino with which he has a connection.
-snip-
Regarding a promotion or not, it seems that losing gambling has been experienced quite often by Drake.
But this time the loss reached $1 Million in 2 individual bets worth $500,000 on the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Mavericks being his big losses.
I know how we all that haven't made such money will be feeling right now with enormous thoughts in our head of useful things we can do with $1M because, it appears as though Drake is wasting money not knowing what to do with it but going by his networth and the records of each bets he has made and loss, I think he has always staked with a percentage amount he can afford to lose in relation to his worth which means he is not an addicted gambler AFAIK. Which is why he doesn't get moved by any of those losses though it's painful how he has to lose this way in every of his bet that he is now associated with the nickname The Drake-Curse. I feel for the dude though.

This is not the first time Drake has experienced this, it seems like this has happened several times, people even made fun of it by saying "Drake Curse" because the bet he made was so bad. And the funny thing is he doesn't really care about this and continues to gamble large amounts. That made sense since he was worth $250 million and earned tens of millions of dollars a year - gambling a few hundred thousand wasn't that significant to him. But it shows that he doesn't have any strategy in his gambling and is irresponsible.

This might look like a big loss to those of us who have not seen that kind of money but to Drake, it is just a small money he can throw away without blinking an eye. As a celebrity,  a single function can fetch him multiple of that amount, even monetization in his social media handle or commercial can rake in that much for him. Hence, He might just be gambling for fun as some people claim such happens, but we should be extremely careful not to imitate him else we might not like the outcome. It is always right to check ones limit in terms of financial injection into gambling.
I'm sure that Drake, gambles the amount that he can afford to loose so I wouldn't worry about him going bankrupt because of the huge amounts that he loses in gambling. And I don't advice anybody that is not as rich as him to take the high risks that he takes in betting amounts that is clearly outrageous to the average income earners. I think that his serial loses are not good for his imagine as a celebrity, people likes to associate with success rather than failures, which is making me to wonder whether he ever wins big because I've never heard of drake's big wins. We don't know if his loses are a public stunts like some people are insinuating, if it is, then they are negative stunts.

Looking at his net worth, it's only a small amount so it won't affect his finances, especially since he plays on a gambling site that sponsors him, so even though it's his own money, the income he gets from this gambling site is certainly bigger, for small gamblers like us it looks very big and maybe we say stupid to him but not to him.

In my opinion, one of the marketing tricks being done nowadays is to publicize the defeats of celebrities because it will get more exposure to the gambling sites where they play, that's why many times the defeats they experience are published, Drake must have won because the Edmonton Oilers managed to win and made the score 2-3 so it had to continue to the sixth match, but the defeat seemed more interesting for many people to know.

Drake Net Worth
$250 Million
Drake's Salary$70 Million Per Year

As others have also commented, this is crucial to put things in perspective. It's like if someone who has a net worth of $250K and an annual salary of $70K loses $500 on a bet or even worse in this case because people as rich as Drake already have all needs covered and can splurge on these things. However, losing $500 in this case can be the difference between making it to the next paycheck or having to eat ramen noodles until you clear it.

It seems Drake is not learns from his previous mistake not to place too much money in gambling. He lost his money again. But that will not be a big lose for him since he have much money and he can place another bet.

We don't know how much he lose in gambling per year but that amount can be bigger than we can taught. We hopes he can knows what he is doing and not just spends much money to playing gambling. It is better for him to use that money for other things to increase his wealth although he is now still one of the rich people.

Hopefully, that will not affect much for his wealth although he lose much money in gambling. But people like Drake already still to place a bet in gambling.

Yes, the famous canadian singer/actor has just "achieved" another big loss.
https://cryptopotato.com/here-is-how-much-bitcoin-btc-drake-lost-betting-on-the-nbas-final/
According some sources online he has lost around 500K USD in bitcoin while gambling on NBA finals.

This is just one more thing that we (mortals) know about. I'm sure that many other famous people, addicted to gambling like everyone else, have lost a few million too but they never revealed this.

But, I'm sure of one thing... Drake has never hidden that he has been involved in sports betting games in recent years, but the fact that he is considered unlucky in the betting world and has lost "fortunes", makes things very "interesting" for us.

My opinion... I would bet (but not) that he has already had good gains too, but he should not disclose this with the same frequency with which he exposes his losses.

Is he using sports betting to hide some money? I hope not!

And you think someone could be willing to lose all these amounts without any connection to casino and gambling site? Drake is known to be an influencer and people can gamble with huge amount thinking he maybe betting with his personal pocket money without the knowledge that those money is coming from the casino, almost all the time people tends to share the story of his lost and not subsequently sharing that of his winning.

Well, drake is wealthy but to keep wagering such huge amount and lose them make it looks so suspicious if because no one can afford to lose such amount of money in the name to promote a brand or gambling site without the connection between those staked amount.

Drake has won several games ranging from crickets to NBA Finals games but you’ll only hear few people talk about it than the ones he lost.
It's because the losses are more entertaining to know than the wins.

Anyway, he gets more exposure with the sponsor that he's having with all of these bets whether they lose or win. I think he's brilliant on this, he lose big amounts but then, his sponsor/s are getting larger exposure for this not so simple losses that he's having.

As long as he has a good source of income, this will still not hurt his financial status.
It won't hurt him as long as the sponsors are there and he can just bet as much as he can and however he want to.

Drake have been known to be losing huge amount of money to bets in the past and just lityou said I haven't also heard any news of his winning which makes me wonder if he deliberately plays to lose or he's just so unlucky and why will he continue to play huge even he he knows that he loses most of the time. It is very bad that a celebrity like Drake, despite his fame and wealth but yet he still gives in to gambling. I know a lot of celebrities plays gamble but I also imagine if they gamble for fun or to acquire more wealth even when they know it is a game of probability.

It’s not a deliberate choice - drake has several games that he has played and won but the fact is that the media are more interested in his loses than his wins because people would be more interested in reading how a celebrity lost thousands of dollars than reading how a celebrity who has millions of dollars won a few thousands dollars (compared to his wealth) that’s just it.

Drake has won several games ranging from crickets to NBA Finals games but you’ll only hear few people talk about it than the ones he lost.

We should probably at least thank the man, he's probably funding the bets of countless other people lol. But anyway, considering all things I don't think it'd be that big problem for him, he's rich a f and I'd say no types of addiction is enough to be a problem for him at this point in time. That, or it's just sponsored. I mean the mans a banner for advertisement for casinos at this point lol.

Anyway, was late but I would've probably told other to bet against him for that last match OP said lol.
Well that's some crazy way to feel about his loses because that man have really spent alot of money on gambling and the reason why people are still okay with it, is because the fellow is one of the richest man alive and also maybe he  believes money is spent for other ones to actually come in ,😂😂😂
As long as he has a good source of income, this will still not hurt his financial status.
Though talking about the amount, this is still a huge loss and maybe he lose more that is not being addressed in the public. I hope he knows how to handle his finances or else he might suffer a big collapse in the future. We're not sure though if that money is also came from the casino he is connected with, well a loss is a loss.
