One of the leading crypto media The Merkle about Dreamr in their article:

"Dreamr creates the network around users’ dreams and aspirations giving power to their hands."

I sometimes search the internet to read blogs where Dreamr project is mentioned. Here’s a blog on Tachyon Protocol, a blockchain project that seeks to build a model which would eliminate the need for client server designs. https://themerkle.com/overview-of-4-web-3-0-technologies-from-tachyon-protocol/.
Although, Dreamr just gets mentioned twice, I think it’s good advertising for a project like Dreamr which is a social media platform for people with amazing projects and dreams.

Thanks for sharing this blog article. I agree wit you on proper marketing of the project in crypto related sites. Coinmarketcap is one of the best apart from worldcoinindex.

Advertising on coinmarketcap is expensive. It’s one of the best place to advertise but it’s expensive. I won’t advise  that Dreamr go on to spend that amount just for advertising. I think they should pay more attention on the app development. If you read through the whitepaper, Dreamr doesn’t seem to be an app that would have much of it’s users interested in blockchain technology or how blockchain tech could help their dreams. It’s just going to be a social media platform to them.

Advertising on CMC looks very expensive but the traction could be worth it. The reach and the fact that CMC would only advertise project with good product and dedicated team. Besides I don't see the need for it either since dreamr as a project have come a long way in their token sales.

I think they need more funds. They stopped the STEOon IDCM, and my best guess is they wanted to control the sales themselves. They want to know who buys how much, what price and how much tokens has been sold. Which is good on one part, but they’ll need to advertise the sales more than they had to the first time.

By the way dreamr can be seen as a non crypto project, so they shouldn't limit their marketing to crypto related platforms.

It’s actually a blockchain project, goes beyond just crypto related platform. For a fact, one of the basic uses of Dreamr in the whitepaper is it’s use in crowdfunding users dreams. Dreamr also claims to use blockchain technology for the App development.
By the way, I don’t think all these are important to a simple Dreamr App user. Who's interested in just getting their dreams to come true.

As far as the popularity of Dreamr project is concerned yes they will easily reach their softcap,  I read somewhere that the platform will also provide $1billion to the users till next year so I'm guessing this may be correlated.

Both softcap and hardcap numbers that I see are on the low side. Which is very good for achieving the targets. However my question is whether that is sufficient for the team to move ahead with devleopment?

Even with such low softcap why the team could not reach softcap yet? This is triggering me lots of questions. What investors are seeing which is different than what I am seeing?

With such good project idea and lots cap target, the challenge faced in reaching the target I feel should be a question targeted towards the marketing department of the project. They might have to regroup and replan their marketing strategy.

Another review of Dreamr App project. This time it’s done by ihold, a website that reviews blockchain projects. https://ihodl.com/advertising/2019-11-07/will-tachyon-help-us-create-borderless-and-scalable-internet/
This is good for Dreamr. Does anyone have an idea of how much has been raised so far?

Nice to read this review from different source. But I never heard about this website. Anybody know about this website before? You have raised a very nice question about how much they raised until now. I am also interested in that.

i patially agree with you on a point that advertising on coin markets is costing a lot of money for dreamr but I believe this also a strategy of team to get more investors and make the project more popular among people so I think if this is applicable than its Expensive, but so worth it!

If the funds were available, it would have been a great idea to consider advertising in such an expensive avenue, but as the project stands, funds are barely sufficient for the necessities. It would be wise for the project to consider other options which are less expensive and gives almost similar benefits in terms of attracting more investors to the project.

Exactly, as important as it is to get listed on CoinMarketCap, the team should focus more on developing the project if funds are not much now because people always talk about good projects and that on its own is a free advertisement.

Well, you are correct but I feel as it stands right now the project is a very good one what they need is more publicity and good investors. Regarding the fund I would advise they try to start something with as little fund as they have.
absolutely i believe if they will have a paternship with some of the popular brands that will also help the project in popularity and funding.

Yea, once they start, their progress will easily beckon on investors to come in and utilize the project, for them to create any massive kind of advertisement, that means they have something massive to show investors in return, the advertisement can then be meaningful enough as it will not be in vain but for a purpose, it all involves careful planning

Agree with this as well. Effort should be made towards the product development and not on further advertising. They have made solid impact by taking up some noteworthy awards of big business. So I think they should develop fully and launch out

I wouldn't argue or doubt this cos most of their promotions and giveaways have been in real fiat other than their tokens. These are stuffs most projects don't consider. I've won some project contest that became completely useless cos I couldn't cashout in real fiat.

Like they said, it’s a fund for your project not just a reward. It’s a gift to the winners so they could go on and make their dreams come true. It’s not money for their purse or a free gift or money they could invest in a different project not even in Dreamr.
So I guess this has to be in some easily liquidated currency. And bitcoin would do that better than gift cards would.

You saying Giftcards aren't easy liquidated?.

I don't think that's something hard to do especially when we loads of online market and business ready to trade any available gift cards these days.

I’m saying winners should be paid in bitcoin, since this is a cryptocurrency project. Just a way to make people learn about bitcoin/cryptocurrency. It’s just like on Cash App. They do this thing every Friday where winners receive an amount in BTC to their Cash App. I’m pretty sure that might be the first cryptocurrency they ever had.

I see your point and it's brilliant. Well it's good and great too to get paid in other forms of digital money. Cool thing. What's cashapp used for?

I agree with you that coinmarketcap advertisement is expensive. However thats worth spending instead of making other boring and vague things. See the success rate if projects advertised in CMC.

You’re right when you talk about the success rate of projects advertised on CMC. They are on the most popular cryptocurrency platform, so it’s expected that they’ll perform well. However, I’ll say I prefer the project development to spending more money on big adverts.

For me, I think they should balance the advertisement and the developments of this project so that everything is in control. If they continue developing the project they can advertise this, but with these developments people will know this project more even though they are not advertising it.

Yea, its not like they should outrightly ban the advertisement thing or something but its of importance not to spend heavily on that when they have so much more to do in terms of development, at the moment the industry is kind of tough and when it comes to implementing things, such should be done creatively so they don't blow up their time and money of investors

I would like to see the metrics of those projects advertising on coinmarketcap, really i would. I will like to know if it is as a result of the ad  they placed on cmc.

The ads they place on the coin market has a considerably huge impact on publicity of the project owing to the fact that most persons visiting the website are cryptocurrency enthusiast and potential investors in any project. They can easily convert to sales, compared to other platforms.

That's nice to hear. I guess those teams have the budget or a strong backup of initial investment that enables them to place ads on cmc. By the way dreamr can be seen as a non crypto project, so they shouldn't limit their marketing to crypto related platforms.

Your opinion is quite logical, the team indeed needs to balance between the two factors of advertising and development to ensure that the project is well articulated and attractive to investors.
