End of September or first week of October Drachmae Project alongside local partners will be hosting a two day event,
 

Day One:
 

Local Government and association heads to get introduced to blockchain technology and to Discuss Drachmae Project trials of 2015 to explore the opportunities that are available to increase and build a stronger Tourism economy in the region not just blockchain but various other technology as well to provide diversity and choice to create an open minded and exploratory opportunity this will then be finished off with a workshop for blockchain technology.
 

Day Two:
 

Attika and saronic islands businesses workshop one specific use case and education is based on alternative payments alongside loyalty discounts networks to encourage more travellers also to host mini events in areas providing some innovation experience in their local areas for business growth.

Drachmae Travel is members only platform, including a multi-portal booking engine for discounted and exclusive global travel packages. Initially payments for membership fees can be made using digital currency. At a later stage digital currency will also be accepted for bookings on hotels, flights etc…
Memberships are tradeable assets, and there will be a measure of value appreciation since there is a limit on the numbers of memberships. These memberships are not required to pay the monthly subscription if the holders do not require access to the active members area and booking services. Users may own more than one membership.

On Friday 26th of August at Dragonera Beach, Agistri, Greece. Drachmae project and its partnership with three local businesses of Agistri, will be hosting and DT Token “Draco” will be sponsoring one lucky winner from the Bikini Contest to be chosen and taken to Singapore.

This partnership will push the Trans national Blockchain project to the very brink of reality and existence with live use case to be presented in September.

In an interview with the President of the Business association of Agistri he informed us that Agistri had received an increased in visitors after a a gradual decrease over the years.

123,000 Visitors for 2014
146,000 Visitors For 2015

What was commented is the Season in 2015 started later than usual end of June and around the capital controls Drachmae Project received lots of media and many journalists came to Agistri to cover the project on Agistri therefore it could have provided media exposure to a set level that increased the visitors to the island by 17% overall.

Cannot be proven but its local speculation from the locals of Agistri as the increase is very large compared to there normal Decrease.

Digital currency or blockchain may provide economic growth via media to physical local businesses indirectly.
