El Salvador and Central African Republic have accept Bitcoin as legal tender but they're not construct a Bitcoin tower, will Dubai accept Bitcoin as legal tender?
Hi, Helena.Yu;
What does a tower have to do with making Bitcoin legal, we have the Trump coin for example,  Wink  , although it is true El Salvador has a bitcoin city or plans to have it, surely we will have the tower first, but anyway no relation building-legal bitcoin.

Looking at it from a positive perspective, we can see that Dubai's investment in cryptocurrencies shows their interest in blockchain technology and its potential in the future. This can promote the development of accessibility of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies to other countries and regions. And in my opinion if Dubai successfully develops its Bitcoin tower, this idea can become an example for other countries that want to invest in crypto. However, the success or failure of this project depends on various factors, including the stability of the Bitcoin market and the business world at large.

AFAIK, as they've been dependent on their fossil fuels and oil reserve, they just can't rely to it forever so this is a good diversification that they do for their country.

I guess that Dubai is going to be one of the best countries in terms of skyscrapers and as Bitcoin is getting widely accepted. They can capitalze on that moment while the others are still reluctant towards getting involved and adopting it.

Isn't it that Binance has already an office there? And that's why Dubai is a Bitcoin friendly country.

Dubai, a playground for developers, architects and engineers has given birth to many iconic buildings with different stories to tell. It is known for it's mind-blowing and ground-breaking edifices and skyscrapers. Today, it is at the forefront of history as it's going to be home to the world's first bitcoin tower. The developer, Salvatore Liggiero designed the 40 storey tower to demonstrate Bitcoin significance and also as a sign of recognition for the world's number one cryptocurrency. The bitcoin tower hopes to take the hospitality industry to a whole new level as guests will be able to make rental payment in the form of crypto-staking producing an annual percentage yield (APY) for them to claim during their stay in the hotel.

Congratulations Bitcoin! Keep making giant strides and attaining greater heights.

This is fantastic news for bitcoin's development, and having it acknowledged and ready to be established in a large metropolis like Dubai is a huge success for the bitcoin community. Dubai is recognized as a tourism center where people from all over the world love to visit and explore, and this new project to make hotel rental payments in the form of crypto-staking will make it one of a kind to take place there. If large cities like Dubai embrace this strategy, we'll see the mass acceptance we've been hoping for sooner than expected.

Nice idea I guess but it will definitely be one of the ugliest buildings in the world to me.

Why would anyone rich enough to stay there make stakes into the building during their stay anyway, seems just a dumb marketing idea. Which blockchain are you gonna wrap your BTC on?

Or are we supposed to trust them like a ponzi? In this case building a pyramid is a better idea Wink

Dubai is an attractive city for tourists to visit. It will be very good for bitcoin community and us if bitcoin tower is established in this city. Bitcoin will continue to peak in popularity. However, if the steps taken by Dubai are successful, Dubai will move forward more economically. But we can hope that if Dubai can build this Bitcoin tower successfully then one day Dubai will be able to legalize Bitcoin as legal tender.

Over the years now, i can see a lot of tremendous bitcoin and crypto activities ongoing in Dubai and this has serves it more with the opportunity to be among the top most high ranking bitcoin enabling environment after El-Savador, despite the country being a religious one, they never undermine any business opportunity for them to grow and develop, this has been the footprint they laid down since the introduction of bitcoin whereby you could find in Dubai many schools accepting bitcoin, businesses and enterprises also accepting the payment through the use of this digital currency, they have the bitcoin free trading zone and many more to show forth they are in support of the use of bitcoin in Dubai.

Maybe the unexpected could stream forth from this country if it surprised us by adopting bitcoin as a legal tender, considering the circumstances on ground and this recent construction of a bitcoin tower in the country to serve as a monument for remembering bitcoin always and forever, they unde the technology advancement in digital world and that's why you can see them among the top rated developed countries in the world because they always create rooms for advancement.

Congratulations to Dubai for showing the token of recognition for Bitcoin. This will bring more adoption in the surrounding locations as people notice a Bitcoin logo on the building.

Dubai is now becoming a location that is receptive to new things and is helping the development of crypto so that more and more people can accept it. We are all probably curious about what it will be like once the building is up and running because guests can pay their rent using crypto.

And, of course, it will bring more tourists to Dubai to enjoy the new atmosphere.

I don’t get it. So the name is Bitcoin Tower but they’ll offer apartments for rent in some weird shitcoin that’ll pay the owner in stakes? Is tht what happens? Cause if so, then why even call it Bitcoin Tower? Call it Shitcoin Tower instead lol because this has nothing to do with BTC besides the name

I have not heard of any plans for the Dubai Municipality to construct a Bitcoin Tower, so all the current plans are an imaginary of what the tower will be like if the design is implemented or an investor is found willing to do so, but so far there is no news of an investor who will make such an investment.

Personally, I don't like Salvatore Leggiero's designs, and I think the building's design is ugly, although the idea is excellent. I hope they find an investor who is enthusiastic about such ideas.

I do hope they go through with this, imagine asking your rich friends if they've ever visited the Bitcoin Tower, such a great name for the project compared to bitcoin hotel, also Dubai is full of tourists, this will be a significant approach for Bitcoin, China, and Dubai, follows by the test of the world, United States will be left behind if they are not careful and the community will have to fight for Bitcoin to prosper, its time that power is been given back to the people around the world. Bitcoin is death-proof.

Dubai is a perfect place for big crypto companies to settle down but expenses are very high in that country, if you are not rich don't go to Dubai, or you will end up stranded in the country and you will start doing everything to survive.

Yep, of course, they are going to incorporate web3, metaverse, DAO, NFT, Staking, and APY-rewards while polishing it with Bitcoin.

The developer wants to signify Bitcoin but only on the sole surface and from the architectural perspective. Deep down, surely a mere Bitcoin logo isn't enough for the project's sustainabilities and hype, as a consequence, those web3 things I mentioned are mixed up with the idea of Bitcoin Tower.

This project also boasts it will innovate the hospitality and real estate sectors, which seems an empty promise that some of us are already aware of it back in ICO hype. Well, at the very least they try to build the real thing, the building itself.

It's basically going to be the world's first Bitcoin Hotel and it's sure to be a popular place to visit in the future. especially by people like us who do have some enthusiasm for bitcoin.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was in dubai. because Dubai has indeed shown hospitality to all renewable technologies and even to cryptocurrencies.

he even said that this one innovation project would also combine blockchain technology and AI. In essence, this hotel may later have the goal of becoming a hotel that has sophisticated and renewable technology. I even read in the news that guests who come to this Bitcoin tower will also be given a special NFT prize. or guests can also do staking and get rewards. Maybe rich people would be enthusiastic to try it. but I think for sure it will be very expensive to be able to visiting  there.

So even though I'm interested, I might think twice about visiting there.  Cool

Well, if they go through with this...it will be an iconic building for Bitcoin awareness and a good destination for Bitcoin tourists. I for one, will like to take a photo in front of a building shaped like that. (Bucket lists item)

The building will also boost Bitcoin adoption, because a lot of people are looking up to the people in Dubai, for what they have achieved in the global financial scene and they follow their lead, because they know that they are at the forefront of technology.  Wink

It's always Dubai first I guess. As far as I know, Dubai is a crypto friendly country and using of bitcoin is encouraged there. Wasn't there supposed to be a part of the city that is completely "digital" and will be using crypto currencies? Also as far as I remember, companies from that part has to pay no crypto taxes.
Anyway, the tower is a good thing for them. More people will be curious about bitcoin, more people will know about it and eventually more people will start using it as a currency. The country knows what lies in the future...

Congratulations Bitcoin! Keep making giant strides and attaining greater heights.
Congratulations to Dubai and the entire UAE instead, for positioning itself to benefit from Bitcoin in the future. The more receptive a country is towards new innovations like Bitcoin the more the best minds and businesses would move over there. United Arab Emirates is looking to want to be a technology hub in the future, sort of the Silicon valley of the Middle East.

I hope the design which created by the architecture will not become really different when civil engineer want to start construction because it's not easy for civil engineer to make sure such design is strong and not harm the other buildings.
Far more complex buildings have been designed and built.

That is really good news for us and for the bitcoin community, as that can bring significant growth in adaptation in bitcoin. But first, if ever this building is already done, having rental on it is very expensive, which only those rich guys can afford, and their staking is very expensive. I am very curious on how they will do it and how the developer or owner of it can still gain profit. But again, Dubai is always surprising us. The same is true with their The Line project, which they already started. Let's hope this bitcoin build will be successful in the future.

Bitcoin is now gaining more momentum in Asia. With this new venture, no doubt the growth of adoption will gain more speed in the region. Dubai in particular will probably be enticing as the new Bitcoin destination. The regulation is healthy unlike in other developed countries. I am seeing a potential transfer of headquarters of Bitcoin-supporting companies from western countries to more friendly eastern countries like the United Arab Emirates. I like how open-minded they are there.

If the Bitcoin tower isn't strong and collapse, people will spread FUD around talking if Bitcoin will dump and destroyed etc lol.

El Salvador and Central African Republic have accept Bitcoin as legal tender but they're not construct a Bitcoin tower, will Dubai accept Bitcoin as legal tender?
