This will help you to understand the situation :

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1035362

Bottom line, want Dwolla withdrawal to get faster? Contact them and ask them why they still do not cleared us to use their service after having contacting them several times and after their change of TOS!

Again there is a misunderstanding that I don't quite understand where it began.

I am not referring to the speed of Dwolla <-> Mtgox.

The issue is BANK <-> Dwolla.
:p

I'll repeat to clarify, the process in which it takes to withdraw from my own bank account into Dwolla is almost 7 days long extended by weekend if it happens to be slow.

Even if you remove Mtgox entirely out of the equation, say I'm using Dwolla to buy a Kitchen appliance from ABCKitchenExpansionaryCompanyIncoporatedFoodNetwork - it still takes an agonizing long time to get money into Dwolla itself. I haven't had any issues with Mtgox <-> Dwolla transactions yet thankfully. It's Bank <-> Dwolla that is the issue.
This is no way a negative claim against Mtgox as it is in that other thread you linked.

Don't worry I was replying only to you but to people in General!!!

I just want a simple/quick method to getting money into my Mtgox account. I only used Dwolla again because I've done it before and I felt a little safer doing it. This isn't fun though.

I'm sorry. I have been through this so many times. I ONLY use dwolla because it is cheap, convenient, and accepted. For some reason, I just can't bring myself to waste gas, time, and 4% to drive to my local Walmart and awkwardly hand a cashier a confusing document and a shitload of cash, via Bitinstant. In my opinion, Dwolla won't be accepted for long at BTC exchanges due to ACH fraud.

I'm curious about that method. For me, the local wally mart is used to me handing them odd amounts of cash for various things. I see it is ~4% + $3.95  for the zippay thing. But do you also then have to pay a fee for the moneygram to zippay?

Not sure. Dwolla's 25 cent flat fee makes it worth the wait for me. 4% + 3.95 + Huh would start to sting after a while.

Is LibertyReserve any good? I could do that with ArumExchange

It's nearly as hard to obtain as bitcoins themselves, so you likely wouldn't be saving any steps or money.

you're going to have to go with bitinstant or something like that if you want it faster... but it will cost you about 5%.  Sometimes it's worth it though... considering the price of BTC has gone up like 15% in the past 10 days or so.

Another way to speed up the process is to trade dwolla for Mtgox or dwolla straight up for BTC here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/usd-between-mtgox-dwolla-78512

Dwolla <--> gox seems to be taking quite some time now too.

It isnt even dwolla into mtgox.
The problem is bank into dwolla. It's been  forever for this money, and its happened before. I cant even use Dwolla to buy CANDY yet alone bitcoin or mtgox USD.

I deposited $100 about 5 days ago...and still not in my account.

They are horrible on being prompt.

I'm considering using another method to acquire bitcoins. 5 days is waaay too long for an ACH transfer.

I've heard people say it, I experienced it myself before, but I figure I try again.

I request a withdrawal of money from my bank account to Dwolla.
4 days later it leaves my bank account, I get excited.
2 days later, and Dwolla is still "processing."
The estimation was that it would be done on the 13th. It's the 14th now.
It's Saturday and nothing is going to get done till Monday. The funds are just floating is mid air between accounts.

I regularly use CampBX to buy bitcoins. I love them for their simplicity and hassle-free deposits (I would also use bitfloor if only they accepted dwolla. Shtylman seems like a stand-out guy).

Dwolla is just too damn easy. Every week, I decide on a whim that I can afford to buy some bitcoins later. I just click a button, and *poof.* 5 days later, I have bitcoins. Dwolla is a revolving door for me; I pretty much always have something pending there.

One time, I spewed a lot of shit about dwolla on this forum. But of course, dogs do return to their vomit. And I'm basically a regular Dwolla customer now. For now, it suits my needs better than any other method.

The waits (verification and transaction) are a real bitch though.

EDIT:
I'm going to clarify this again.
I'm NOT complaining about the speed of Dwolla <-> Mtgox.

It is the speed of BANK <-> Dwolla.
To get money out of my own bank account into Dwolla, regardless of what I intend to purchase after I get the funds into the account, takes forever.

Nothing to do with Mtgox specifically, I was just saying that I'm open to suggests for ~something other than~ Dwolla that goes from Bank to X to Mtgox faster
