Just a warning to you all, I've had $4k locked up in Dwolla for 5 months now. Use caution and never keep a Dwolla balance!

Yeah, doesn't Dwolla restrict use of their service if you are using it as a sort of exchange? I always figured this thread died because people didn't want to send BTC and receive Dwolla incase they got reported and Dwolla seized their funds.

Dragging this up from the grave as I have 80.5 Dwolla that I need exchanged to BTC. BCB is usually my guy for this but he hasn't responded to my messages and I see that he was doing a little IP snooping that raised some eyebrows around here.

I haven't heard about this but why would you have to switch to Coinlab? I am in the USA and plan to use MtGox more. Maybe they can tell your IP is USA, but you can easily use a VPN and get around that. I won't use my real name and address on there..no reason to if you aren't withdrawing USD.

And that's why Mt. Gox's Dwolla balance was confiscated. The court filings allude to the fact that CoinLab is FinCEN approved and Mt. Gox isn't. Look for Mt. Gox's North America operations to be shut down in the near future.

Yup, heard the news this morning. US guy here, and didn't even know my account was suppose to be moved. I'm not terribly happy with MtGox releasing my information without my consent. Or at least, I don't remember agreeing to anything that stated they might release my info if they wanted too. I rarely read the fine print. Roll Eyes
