Apparently yes. Users had a lot of problems, the guy who idealized it (Tony Fontoura) premined a huge amount of coins, none of the initial plans were accomplished, even after several postpones on the dates and the last exchange which trading it stopped doing it about a month ago (if I recall correctly).
