Would put the following 3 on my list:
- anycoindirect.eu: currently my most favorite. accepts credit cards and SEPA wire transfer. reasonable fees.
- coinbase.de: good and still use it here and there. but fee structure at some point became not really nice anymore.
- bitcoin.de: started with this one. but it is too clumsy for me in the meantime.

I live in Germany and I use bitcoin.de to buy bitcoins and especially ethereum. If you verify your account on bitcoin.de and open an bank account at the fidor bank you can buy instantly on bitcoin.de. It took´s me almost 4 weeks from the registration to the full verification with fidor bank. Now i can instantly buy cryptos on bitcoin.de. On coinbase.com you can also buy bitcoin and ethereum. Send money on coinbase, than go to gdax.com and transfer your money from coinbase to gdax. On gdax the fees are much lower than on coinbase. No worries its the same company. Good luck buying cryptos. Better to ask of the safest way. This will be to buy Bitcions (or BitcoinCash and Ethereum) via https://www.bitcoin.de/de/r/n57xqn

If you have an account at fidor bank, you can do the express-trade and buy bitcoins in seconds. You can get your fidor-account at https://banking.fidor.de/register?ibid=71281335

Hello, my friend in Germany want to buy bitcoin. How/where can he buy easily? He is not a tech guy so please help. I know there are lot of scammers here so i know i have to be careful choosing legit website. Or may theres an atm machine in Germany or other easy way. thank you

Hey,
like many others before i also would recommend Coinbase to buy Bitcoins.
The Verification-Process is much easier compared to bitcoin.de and fees are quite low.
How can he buy on Coinbase? You can send him this step by step guide (german): https://cointutorials.wixsite.com/cointutorials/startseite/coinbase-bitcoin-ethereum-litecoin-kaufen-und-handeln.

It will explain the whole sign up process and the actual way to buy Bitcoins.

I think you did not read the latest Coinbase user agreement!

It clearly says: The websites and the services offered by Coinbase are NOT addressed to persons who have their registered office or place of residence in Germany.

You can read it here: https://www.coinbase.com/legal/user_agreement

Does he want to buy cash or online?

Online the easist way for newbies is anycoindirect in my opinion.  Really easy to use for newbies.
If he want to buy cash its a bit more difficult, because localbitcoins is censored in germany.  He can try to find someone by using mycelium. An alternativ could be bitcoin-treff.de - sadly not so much user like localbitcoins had, but still a possibility.

Best and easiest way to buy and trade btc is in my opinion coinbase. There is a very simple process for registration and creating a account. All options and procedures are well documented and not complicated.
It is easy to transfer money via sepa transfer. It needs 2 days and you can trade with it.
Especially for the first steps coinbase is good. May after the first time you can change to another one

Unfortunately there are no public bitcoin ATMs in germany.  Sad

If you want to trade fiat into bitcoin, you have the following options:
  • bitcoin.de (the only escrow service located in germany, express trades by fidor bank available)
  • kraken.com (exchange with SEPA deposit option)
  • bitstamp.net (exchange with SEPA deposit option)
  • bitpanda.com (the former coinimal.com)
  • bitcoin-treff.de (trade locally in cash)
  • mycelium android wallet (trade locally in cash)

Sure this list isn't complete but I think the major exchanges/trading options are there.
You can find even more here: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#tab-markets

Hello

You can buy Bitcoin on www.coinbase.com or www.bittrex.com or www.xapo.com, i prefer xapo because they have a debit card, so you can withdrawl Money on every ATM or burchase in every shop you like.
May it is a good way to invest in Bitcoin, but in my opinion it is better is to invest in Bitcoin Mining Pools.

Greetings from Austria

I think Cubits would be something your friend should look into. The verification process is quite straightforward and one of their team members actually verifies you with a video call. They're German as well so you can speak German with them Smiley

I bought my first bitcoin with bitcoin.de. Today I work for them, so it's not completely objective, but I had no problem with my first buy.

With bitcoin.de your friend can enjoy a good support.
