Yes, no matter how you do not fight it. If you are deceived, they will do it. You will be beautifully painted about the project and you invest in it, and you will not even suspect that they are scammers. Only your instinct will help you, which will stop you.
Maybe we are all aware about scam and yet, it's our instinct to determine if a certain ICO is legit or not then decide to invest.
The easiest and most efficient way to stop an ICO scam is to not invest in it period. The more money that people make from running ICO scams then the more ICO scams would be pushed into the market. If they do not earn any money from it and end up making losses from the costs of setting up and running an ICO then they would stop trying to scam people.

We cant control it but we can be aware of it... For me the best way to lessen this reported scam is to keep everyone aware of it... And how? If you find out that certain ICO is scam... You should share it here it will be very helpful ... If everyone will do it surely we will lessen it... But as the one who uses crypto we should be the one who have our own research about ICO... If we are the one who will do probably we will never become a victim of it...
Doesn't really help, if the team runs away then the tokens are worthless anyway lol.
This seems to be a good idea, but it is for us, I doubt that all the ICO projects would like to cancel KYC furthermore it is regulated by law.
You can't stop scam because first of all it is hard to know which one is real and the scam one, there are so many ICO projects. Before joining an ICO you have to learn how to identify the real one. You must have a strategy to know if the is scam or not.
Knowledge is the best weapon to avoid a scam. My experience dictates that you look for projects that reward speculation, and that focus on making a "New Bitcoin". Ser Coin or token has no relevance. Search for projects with a reason, for example, https://vitatoken.io
As always u can't stop scam ICO because there r too much ICO project, how do u know which one I real or not, even if KYC required also become scam project, so we only can try our best to lower investment risk and do a lot of research about the project before doing investment
The easiest way to stop ICO will be directly from our campaign managers, It is the campaign managers that always relate with developers of the project directly. I have seen a manager come out and declare that the ICO campaign he is managing is scam. I think if all our managers do their homework very well the rate of scam ICO will reduce.

it should be applied to every ico if there is a release ico, this happens to anticipate a scam loss. including a clear rule and a rule of law. so I think it should be applied and clearly notified to the public.

To reduce the risk of scam, you should always be careful, before investing into the ICO. And you always need to do thorough research and check ICO's team.
Scam nowadays are famous there's a lot of ICO's are coming. I think we cannot stop scam ico's immediately but we can avoid it. Before joining the project do your research, deep research if the project is legit and avoid also suspicious ICO's.
Fraudsters will never stop until they get anything from the scam, there is no specific way to stop the scam, but the only way to prevent fraud is to study the project.

As if you can control the people behind of the ICO to scam others or be honest. There are no easy way to stop ICO scam, only by research thoroughly you will lessen the chance of investing to a scam ICO.

It's a good reference for us both bounty hunters and investors to avoid or even minimize the ICO scams. I've checked the link and I found some interesting and important things to always note. I also do some of those ways in choosing the right ICOs, but not all of the information I have known. SO, it is very helpful for us. I also know that avoiding the ICO scams or additionally stopping ICO scams are very difficult. They are smart and they are systematic. therefore, we can just try to minimize or avoid the ICOs that are probably detected as scams.
Its not possible to completely eliminate "scam" from ICO market, millions have been lost in various ICO scam. We need to do proper research before investing into any ICO. Many people fell in ICO scam trap after visiting the catchy website and a 2 min short movie explaining the ICO. Not many pay attention to whitepaer, founders, roadmaps and most importantly is there any version of product already launched, these are just small steps that can be save you from an ICO scam.
That is going to be hard for ICOs to adopt and I am sure anyway not all of them even if they are good ones are going to accept and do this thing. I would like to be this way because everyone will receive their coins instantly but people will always find ways to scam people doesn't matter what they have to do. Even if they send coins to buyers instantly after paying they can cancel the launching of their coin on the market so coins price remain 0
