What is going on with this coin? If it is a scam then why are people still buying into it? I just noticed the thread for it was locked. I was wondering why there was no discussions on it.

I don't think sane people will buy this scam coin, it may be wasserman uses bitcoin mixer to laundry his scamming coins made from opair and Declouds

Seems to moving along quite well at this point. hmmmm

I think it is one of their tactic ways to deceive other's to buy it. And ebitz was declared as one of the scam coin listed. And I am one of their victim actually as an investor.

Nodio will be following Ebitz soon, I doubt with the project and the token hadn't made by the dev since the ANN was starting.

I agree. I hope you never invested in this scam and saved your money for a real legit ico.

I have to say the Ebitz ICO is a strange one. They have not released any information since the end of last month, but the site is still online. There is activity outside of this forum but not much anyone can go on. Plus you got a team(individual?) that had been defending the coin from the start. Usually people would just shrug off accusations if they know they've been caught but they really tried to defend themselves.

Either it is a scam, or this forum is too harsh and jaded to trust anyone that doesn't distribute information daily. In a way I wouldn't blame them if they were legit. Being accused so harshly wouldn't be the warmest of welcomes. I guess we'll just have to see. I'm pretty much 80% sure it is a scam, but that 20% is still holding some hope.

Check out the altcoin section they have at least 3 thread about e-bitz that it is indeed a scam coin those who exposed it has done a great job, when I read it I'm 100% sure that it is a scam coin, just to late to get it exposed.

Yeah I basically written  it off as a scam.  The only thing that's renewed my hope is the recent posting by Genjix.  I would think that either someone hacked his account here, he's in on the scam, or it is real. There was just so many red flags, especially with the WordPress website. Anyway time will tell, and best of luck to you.

No shit its a scam. Glad you stayed away and stayed safe.
Hey Ellen, thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately I did invest .5 BTC,  I saw so much press about it, and got excited, and sent it before I really researched it, now though I'll just have to cut my losses and carry on.

Yeah I first heard about Bitcoin from an article about the Winklevoss brothers. And actually bought like a few hundred at that time, but my bank would not allow the transaction to go through. I didn't mess with it for years and years but then found the gemini exchange recently probably 6 months ago, so I've been investing there, and that seems safe. I did also invest in this company Eth trade, but I wonder how legit it is, because the returns are just too good to be true, so I think I'm going to pull out of there as soon as I can sell my portfolios which is 60 days. I may still invest with them but only leave what I've already earned in that account, so if it does go belly-up, then at least I'll only be losing profit. Yeah, cryptocurrency world is straight-up Cut Throat. There's so many horror stories about hackers, or people running off with their coins. Anyway I've got around 40,000 ebitz now. If it is legit, then how much money do you think that will be worth?

If it actually comes out without any major bugs, I'd say probably at 1/2 to 1/3 of zcashes market value. Also. The rush to dive in if it turns out to be real may raise it close to zcashs price. But this is all speculation on something that might not even exist.

Did you invest?

Yes, very small amount that I won't miss. I am more angry that people can have great ideas and not follow through. To be honest it was the first ico along with ark that I participated in. I hadn't been in the crypto world for about three years and back then an ico didn't exist. All we had was dogecoin, mooncoin, and a whole slew of coins to mine. Simpler times man. Now you have to trust anonymous people with your money and have to rely on them to deliver.

The latest news is Amir Taaki - Genjix is supporting the project. This adds legitimacy,  or think they stole his identity? https://mobile.twitter.com/EbitzMass/status/810600530644992003

I think the system that was set up for the forum kind of lended itself to this. The bounty system leaves a big opening to falsify stories in an effort to solely gain coins from the bounty. There is no real incentive to be truthful since it is all based on word count and praise.

This has led to bulk news which is based on quantity, not quality. And with that, actual fact is drowned out by a chorus of disinformation. A decentralized system is based on trust. So what do you have without the trust?

In truth, it feels like a military/government tactic. If you infiltrate and destroy the system of trust most anything will fall. I'm starting to really question if governments aren't blatantly manipulating the market. It is strange that the forum wouldn't be more regulated.

I actually bought .5 btc because thought it was legit and there was so much press. It is a tough lesson learned.

Vdice ico is legit though, I wish i would have invested that .5 there, or on the idle TV miner ico. Maybe by some miracle ebitz is legit, but I doubt it, because they never invited me to the slack, and the investment page only credited 2 deposits, as I sent 5 smaller deposits. Hard lesson learned.

ebitz never legit coin and can't miracle is ebitz coin up and buyer ico selling can get receive ebitz coin
ebitz coin is scam and owner/founder ebitz coin run away 100 bitcoin investor
without distribution ebitz coin
