The market cap is low at the moment and the price just crashed by more than 40% in one day. No major exchanges are listing it.
I really don't get the idea(perhaps i'm just dumb), however, what's the point of having a bitcoin token on the ethereum network if it's not pegged to bitcoin in any way? It just doesn't make sense to have it there - people can just use ethereum instead?
To me, this is more about hype...

I'm not sure what the craic is with the coin or what the craic is with the price but I hope, for the love of god, that is does something the original Bitcoin 
I think it's another coin, which hope make some hype with BTC in the name. And eBTC did it!But now price was dumped and eBTC do not need anyone no more.
It will be like BCH, that will pump at soe point then when it dips, it will be hard to recover . It will be good for trading but not for holding, since more coins connected to every btc correction will be produced. 
I don't thing so cause price growing up and up without any real value, but great promising to be the bitcoin on ethereum.
I think it is great to get free coins via air drops and this one although it was listed on ether delta price zoomed to 0.71 usd and 2450 free coins made it worth close to 1800 usd. I would prefer to hold it for some time to see how the coin appreciates and how the developer takes it forward

I think it's another coin, which hope make some hype with BTC in the name. And eBTC did it!But now price was dumped and eBTC do not need anyone no more.
I believe that EBTC will increase but not in just a short time, it is good for long term.It was soon released on to the exchange soon after the airdrop.And his was distributed through airdrop also and yes its total supply is 21,000,000 so probably it will move up.It looks like interesting and promising project with good developer team and good idea.

The only unique thing about eBTC is the flawed contract that enables the developer to airdrop them endlessly. Its value was based on hype thanks to the name and the low volume bump that happened go really high.
Currently the prices of alts are down, during such time I cannot understand why anyone would put their money on altcoin like eBTC. It couldnt be any worse choice. Its price has been going steadily down for days. There is only one address, bottom.

I won't complain having received the airdrop, but what in the world is causing this massive price increase other than pure hype and speculation?
Apparently no one will complain after having received free coins from them and they have apparently given you a huge income boost right now. It is usually normal and everyone who understands the market knows that it is just pure hype and mere pump, that is all. I am not saying it is not a nice project but I don't usually like pumped coins just to stir the market. I hope you guys made the best of it though since the value is back to normal now as expected from every pump.

I also got my airdrop token and currently I still holding it. for the first 3 days it exactly surging to the moon but after it hit .8$ marked someone is dumping and it feeld down to .2$ now it is currently consolidating at .3 - .4 value hope it can hold strong .3 support or else it will back to its ICO price now eBTC to the moon

The coin of the EBTC is not particularly different from the others. However, if it has a fast transaction time, this is already good. Let's see how it will show itself in the future. While there is very little information about it.
Every erc20 token is same with other, because that was building on the ethereum platform and every feature that owned vy ethereum should be applied on these coins, you must no need to claim about that. Everyone know about that. 
The associated name of this new coin with btc is one of the fuel driving this. The moment the fog is clear and the token is known for what it is, two things will happen. People will dump or the hype will continue.
to my knowledge ebtc was one of almost the same coin with value prices but not bitcoin is similar, because these new coins, I just know it, but many say that this coin has similarities with bitcoin because it might be competing bitcoin, but I'm sure there will be no competitiveness bitcoin

I didn't find many information about it, and I missed their airdrop. I know people from the airdrop got a really great profit from it and are quite happy with it. Don't know if it's price will continue to increase like that, since it already drop a bit. Also right now it's only on a decentralized exchange as far as I know, and that may keep away some investors. I don't have anything against the exchange, but it's harder to use than the normal ones (at least for now).
