As long as they have petrodollars fueling their economy, they can overcome any economic crisis. And as for the war in middle east, well most of its expenses are borne by gulf countries. So US has nothing to worry as long as it has their oil producing friends to exploit Wink

I think the US spent over a trillion dollars on the Iraq invasion and decade of occupation. I'm not sure how much all the other nations combined spent, but I'd be willing to bet it was not a trillion dollars.
The gulf war costs US$ 40 billion. Out of
the US$ 40 billion the US spent only
US$ 10 billion or 25%. The rest US$ 30
billion comprising 75% of the war
budget was spent by Arab country’s
Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. How did they get this money?
Before the war the average price of a
barrel of crude oil was 15 US$. With
the Gulf war it increased to 42 US$.
There by they got an extra profit of US
$ 60 billion.
To whom did this profit go?
According to the “50% -50%” law in
Arab countries 50% of it belonged to
the governments. The other 50% went
to the multinational oil companies
controlling the oilfields.
That means US$ 30 billion for those
companies and the other US$ 30 billion
for Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Who owns those companies?
Middle-East oil exploration and trade
is under 7 companies (Shell, Mobil,
Esso etc.). All these companies are
American. The US Government owns 5
of them. Therefore from the 30 billion
dollar profit for these companies,
about 21 billion belonged to the
American government and the
remaining 9 billion to the American
private sector.

Their economic crisis is a joke. They are in so much debt, all they worry about is starting a war, instead of figthing they should focus on their own country to get back on their feet. I wish they would look at themselves and fix their own issues that they have to deal with before starting to look at other countries and trying to "fix" what's wrong.
It is because this mentality of US as global Policeman of the nations US is in such deep debt. War is costly, and US war budget is overwhelming every other branch.
Their fixing policy also destabilized Middle East and now Europe is  flooded with illegal emigrants.

Indeed, that's true. Every time I hear that the US wants to send out troops somewhere I cringe a bit for the US tax payers, that's where their money is going.

The United States is facing economic disaster on a scale few nations have ever experienced. Most people are unaware of the easily observable signs of this crisis,
Where it came from and how to stop it. While we persist in our superpower mentality, we have quietly become a second-class country in many respects.

So Please share your Ideas to stop the U.S. Economic Crisis!!!

Only way to stop the U.S. Economic Crisis is to vote for  Trump on president elections. Sadly the U.S. Economic Crisis will influence whole world, but only U.S. citizens have ability to prevent it. Sad

Haha, for a second there I thought you were saying Donald "bankruptcy is my middle name" Trump was who we should turn to solve our financial problems.   Roll Eyes

USA do not have economic problems, it is economic global power Nr. 1 in the world. Just compare with country like India or Malaysia and you will understand what is real economic problems in the country  Wink

Once America Debt is no longer accepted.. you'll see what the OP is talking about.

When a country ows an inifnite amount of money with no ability to pay it off people will stop accepting debt from that country.

All socialist nations are so fucked it's not even funny...
When something is infinite, doesn't that mean it's pretty much worthless. Power shift is just a matter of few decades away. People will realize that the piece of paper they worship is as good as the toilet paper that they use.

There will be a power shift sooner or later, it is just a matter of time. The world is probably trying to look for alternatives like China already.

Problem is that they are so much further away from the western culture in most countries, that many people can't agree with them and their politics, which can slow things down.

We as bitcoin holders can't really do much, I don't think even US citizens can do anything about it.

Their government is so corrupt, if I was a US citizen I wouldn't vote at all. The government should stop funding wars in the middle east and start fixing their debt issues instead.

The only group of people who can fix anything is going to be the government itself, so all we can do is try our best to be prepared for when something bad does happen

Yes it is, unfortunately! It is far away from the land of opportunity as it was before. Middle class is almost non-existent. Many things have changed since I lived there and left in 2007.

Honestly, there is nothing that it can be done. The US has took a wrong turn long time ago and made a huge mistake with its debt politics. The big pop is more and more inevitable in my opinion. The only problem is that they will pull down the whole world into another crisis. When the US coughs the rest of the world gets the flu. It was always like this!

we cannot do anything to be honest, we are useless in this regards, the only thing average people can do is embracing bitcoin at this point, and converting something each time the crisis get bigger

leave the centralization to the past and let bitcoin sucks all the fiat money, so it can become big enough to dismiss the whole fiat system

It depends
https://www.nationalpriorities.org/budget-basics/federal-budget-101/spending/

Based on the pie chart, cutting the military spending to less than half the discretionary spending would cut a bit of the margin which can be put towards interest as well as finding efficiencies in social security and labor, targetting tax margins gets a big sum but can be politcally deadly but then again Trump is doing well at present so maybe it can get done.
However either way it looks like it would be hard to get cuts done and gain efficiencies.

How could we possibly try to stop the US economic crisis?

They're the ones using their citizens tax money to pay for wars in the middle east.
