I experienced here the same as well, our country's economy are getting poorer and poorer because of the powerful people in our government who make use of their power inorder to commit corruption.

Unluckily we are at the present of surviving the economic war zone. Such problems produces ineffective to make the people work and help the government to let the nation prosper. Everyone dreaming to change the ways of live which bring us to expensive products that couldn't breath freely because everything is expensive. However, there are good things that happening and probably bin a short of time we will all experience the good change. It takes time to wait.

Sure mate, leadership really matters a lot in any country and how it applies to the economy. Most developed countries today actually got there based on the leaders vision and how they want the future planned for their generations, and most rich but still underdeveloped countries, obviously lack visionary leaders.

At the rate at which Philippines is going though, it is obvious the economy is going to be getting hugely better over time and set them easily on a good path.
