Same question (as already mentioned on above comments), what kind of QT wallet coins you were using?
If BTC, i will suggest you to using hard wallet or electrum wallet.

Can you post the link from which you downloaded this wallet? Was it from here: https://bitcoincore.org/en/download/ or here: https://bitcoin.org/en/download

Or was it from somewhere else?

Were you upgrading from a very old version?

Is it syncing at all? "Help" -> "Debug window" -> "Network Traffic" to see if anything is being downloaded.

Well, if this is not an outdated version of the wallet problem you use and not also your internet connection, I doubt you must watch this youtube video because this is related to your case, you know how to Repair a Qt wallet that won't Sync. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGYynPiscyM. Indeed, I feel doubted that might your blockchain data may corrupt and that's why it is hard to sync actively the node and it showing green color once it is syncing.

Are you sure your wallet doesn't sync? I know the question may sound silly, but it's a very slow process because of the amount of data that needs to be retrieved. The amount of data you need to download is over 240 gigabytes, and the download time depends primarily on the speed of your internet connection, though not exclusively about it.

I suggest you read this article, and particularly pay attention on Check wallet connection and add nodes, but to all other advices.

I don't know if you have any particular reason to use this wallet, as there are alternative solutions that do not require downloading the entire blockchain.
