I didn't know about this thread. It is a lot of work behind, all websites have scam accusation topic.
Also, have a [SCAM ALERT] List 150+ scam websites (Updated 27.jan)  and the number is growing. I did not do a thorough investigation of each domain, it takes a lot of time when I do like SCAM Warning - 6 websites - Ponzi scheme but all of them offering high ROI, it only makes a difference whether they are hiding behind cloud mining, investment, money doubler etc... schemes.
I think I find some websites in both lists, maybe we need to create a database of scammers, to do not waste a time.

I am doing research with this mining bitcoin wallet and i want to know if this website westernfxpro.com legitimate for cryptocurrency trading or if it is a scam

It's a scam:

- They claim to be in business since 2013 while they have no online presence and the domain name is only two months old.
- Fake and unrealistic stats: 75 million users and 250 billion on withdrawals...
- A very slow and unresponsive website with a lot of dead links and nonfunctional 'features'.

Just stay away from cloud mining platforms. It's almost always a scam.

If your goal is to mine, buy an ASIC setup. If you want to accumulate bitcoin, then buy them. There is no easy way to obtain them.

Hello,

Is there a Post where we can find sites that is not a scam?

thank you

It doesn't make sense to have such a list, most of the scams start as a legit business anyway.

Badbitcoin.org. has an extensive up to date list of scam sites.

You can also add some of your own if they are not listed...

I find the website is a little bit hard to navigate through but It's getting hard to keep this post updated so I'll check it.

It has become common that many people fall into such scams with attractive offers and lose their money since they are not aware of the technology behind.
However, the common scams can be avoided by knowing how it works.

Check the most common 7 bitcoin scams and be aware of them.

Didn't know about this thread. Like the idea but you have everything all together. What about to make sections for them? For example: Gambling - 1xbit.com and etc, Exchangers - other websites and etc.
But it doesn't worths to write all shit domains, what about to include only original domains?
I mean 1xbit.com, yobit.com and similar websites which are real services but scam at the same time.

I like the first idea but I'm not in favor of the second one because according to you, as long as the service is not known and only a small group of people get scammed, we shouldn't list? This will only make things worst as more people will get scammed in the future by these services.

URL:  BITEVOX.COM
Scam Accusation:  You have to deposit some amount in website so that you can buy virtual currency. You have to buy first and then sell the coin. They will deduct a fee while buying and will give you some cents while selling. Their payout is minimum 20 dollars in BTC. I made around 19 dollars. Next day the site is down for maintenance. It remained down for 4 days. All the user data is reset. I used to receive mail from BITEVOX on my mail id. That mail ID does not exist on their system now. If you register again with old email ID, it is now taken as a new identity and all your earned balance is ZERO.

Moral of the story :- BITEVOX.COM is a scam. Do not waste your time and money (Unless you are Bill Gates or something like that. In case you really are, send some BTC to me, even 10 dollars is enough...lol :p Cheesy )

Thanks for the effort. However this is just a single piece of cake to how long could this list be since most of the site that relates to bitcoin industry are scam. Maybe we could also try to atleast consider all the cloud mining, all the hyip type of scheme and bitcoin doublers as a scam sites

ponzis , hyips , cloudmining ...etc shouldn't be here , there won't be enough space for these sites cause there are hundreds launching everyday
I keep seeing some accusations here about such sites but an obvious scam doesn't need a thread here , I remember some guy was asking the community here to help him cause he lost money in a site that gives like 150% a day  Cheesy

Then. We should have to generalize that thing. All certain schemes should be then automatically be part of that list. Regardless of the site's business name as long as it would fall to HYIP,CLOUD MININg and Doublers. Cause if we will not include that quote, other users may think that this site is still ok since it is not on the list even if it falls to that certain category listed above.
