What I know is that generally vaccine development takes 8 to 10 years and the possibility of a vaccine can be made faster, at least it takes between 12-18 months and this is a realistic calculation and based on optimism according to James Cutrell.  But if you look at the recently announced vaccines Pfizer and BioNTech even less than a year of development, can this really convince us it is really effective?  Hopefully this is real good news, and hopefully there's no conspiracy behind this.  Because the conclusion I can draw during this pandemic is that the biggest threat to the world today is not a general gun war but a conspiracy of biological weapons.

Let's hope that this vaccine will actually be effective against all breeds of Covid. We should also hope that worldwide governments act in the best interests of their citizens when purchasing the vaccines.

indeed every human body has a different immune condition so that is what makes it not 100% usable for all humans because of this difference, vaccines have a long term meaning not everyone in the world is quickly given a vaccine, because if more than 14 days then covid 19 still has the potential to spread and what gets worse is that the corona can mutate against this vaccine so that they are immune and that will be terrible, hopefully it doesn't happen like that.

90% effective. It means that there’s a 10% chance that there are no guarantees of our immunity after injecting this vaccine onto our bodies. And also, they are not sure how long we would be immune to this virus after the vaccine. I would highly consider if it’s 99.9% effective and not 90%. Just my opinion.

This is a good thing for the economy right now because the people don't get hopeless and some of them are getting courage that the society may back to normal again. In terms of the price of the bitcoin I'm not quite sure but here are some of my speculations.

1. The bitcoin may increase because the economy now backs to normal and some of them are making now investment with different assets such as the bitcoin and other coins.

2. Nothing happens because the market is still volatile even the virus comes and the price of the coin pumps and dumps.

Pfizer and BioNTech are the real stimuli the economy needs right now. Thanks for scientist and doctors have been working for several months to find the cure. 90% is an awesome number which can cure not only people but also our financial system. DJIA and S&P 500 have been made their all-time high recently. What great news not just to the US stock market but also to the world.

Personally, I think this news will negatively affect bitcoin in a short term. Why? From my perspective, bitcoin is considered a safe haven by many investors. This action can make the price of bitcoin goes down a little bit, or which I can call a correction. If you are a holder, this is not a big concern because it will not impact your portfolio in a significant way. But if you are a margin trader, carefully think before making a long position

I read about this and I think it would be a huge increase in the market as they are just the ones that actually passed phase III of testing and it is this effective. How about that 10% though? Another problem is the number of countries needing this vaccine and they need to catch up with the time producing these vaccines.

Does it really means that the vaccine can eliminate corona virus because since pharmacist, biochemist and medical laboratory professionals has been carrying our research analysis concerning corona virus vaccine and know one has been confirmed active to eliminate the bond of the disease and besides the activeness of the virus has be subsides in society, So if the vaccine has been manifactured and confirmed to be 85% sure activeness, it should be release to the mass in case of some countries who are passing through the so called corona virus disease.

Perhaps it is still not tested enough. Or scientists wait till it be 100% effective, because no one wants to be in that 10%.
The 90% success result is based only on 43,538 tests. World population is almost 8 billion. 43k out of 8 billion is not much. Sure it will take time to create more effective vaccine and produce enough of it (Pfizer and BioNTech expect to produce up to 50 million vaccine doses in 2020). Also it was said that some individuals took two dozes of vaccine. And dont forget that the virus mutates also. What cures today, could be ineffective in two months.

How do you expect the vaccine to be distributed when the clinical trial has not yet been completed and production has not yet begun? Also, this 90% success rate may be premature because it’s actually about incomplete results, and it’s really not clear to me why they posted this other than inflating their stock prices. Even if they get a manufacturing license, they could only produce about 50 million doses by the end of this year, and each vaccine will first go to the most vulnerable groups, meaning health workers, police, the military, people over 60 and so on.

So now the effectiveness of the vaccine is confirmed, are they going to make it available in the market? The pandemic has been spreading for almost a year, more than 1.27 million lives have been lost and the general population doesn't have access to an effective vaccine yet. I don't understand the point in maiking the vaccine available, after the pandemic is controlled. It is needed right now, not after 6 months.

Our local stock market have a positive growth after a news that been released about the effective covid 19 vaccine. There are now a lot of companies that interested to make investment again because the fear that they are feeling are now been replaced by confidence because of the vaccine. I hope the vaccine will be 100% finished and I hope that it will be safe in humans like us. The study should be completed at the 1st quarter of the year and for sure many country will avail it and the lives of the people will go normal like before. 

A great example of how the price changes after the news is released and then when the news is worked out, its price falls below the previous values that preceded it. This once again confirms my opinion that those who have insider information earn money, and not those who receive news through the media.

This is very good news.  The world needs such good news lately.  If the vaccine is effective, full vaccination studies can be continued with peace of mind after a global vaccine is given.

The RAPS vaccine tracker is still saying that the Phase III trials for the vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech is still ongoing. Therefore I would assume that the full results are not yet out. The formalities such as certification will start only after the full results are analyzed. But if the effectiveness is more than 90%, it is going to be more than enough. Normally antiviral vaccines are considered effective if they have a success rate of more than 70%.

You will get used of wearing masks if you will try it everyday, a lot of people are complaining that they cannot breathe properly through wearing masks. It's kinda funny but also a bit sad because they are the one who makes them to be vulnerable to the virus. The vaccine is now at last 3 stage, there is a recent news yesterday that a certain company already competed 90% of the vaccine. The human trial is coming to success and for sure it will be a good news not only in my country but in the whole world. The bitcoin is now in bullish zone and imagine that a new come up saying that there is now a vaccine, for sure it will change the market sentiment and for sure it will affect the price of the bitcoin where it will make momentum in the market. If that happen, it will greatly effect the stock market especially in the US where a lot of people are been infected with COVID. 

The US pharmaceutical Pfizer together with German Biotech firm namely BioNTech has been said to produced a vaccine which is more than 90% effective. This is way higher rating of efficacy compared to the vaccines produced by the other companies and countries circulating on news.

Based on the article, the vaccine is more than 90% effective for those who are asymptomatic. It exhibited a very high percentage to those who does not showed symptoms prior to the infection of the covid-19 virus. This is a great news and can make a significant impact for the public health global economy.

Scientists claimed that at least 75% effectivity rate is enough for a vaccine given the period of time they have. However, the White House coronavirus advisor namely Dr. Fauci said that 50%or more would suffice and is already acceptable.

Due to this news, the stock market moved in positive manner as the investors celebrated the news. Stock jumped in trading market particularly the Industrial and airlines which raised up to 20%.

Regarding the vaccine itself, it is said to be effective from protecting the patient to covid-19 after the 4 weeks or roughly 28 days after the initial vaccination. The vaccine requires a 2 shots when administered. It was said to be available for limited use as early as late December this year and will be widely available by the 3rd quarter or simply by September of 2021.

Don't feel bad of wearing masks. Just because the vaccine is been developed don't try to have a life as the past. It isn't evident, we need to take care of ourselves. Further is the vaccine and the other things to get us out of the suffering. Already things have started to function as the past, because of the economic situation. Out of the pandemic people have changed a lot, have gained hope of life and understood value of each penny.

We should be happy with this good news, for me the health and safety of people is the most important thing in this world. I hope that this vaccine will be effective and fully tested and passed the stages of clinical trials before they launch it to the public to have the assurance that this vaccine will not harm us in the future. This news gave us hope that sooner this battle will end and we can turn back to our normal lives.

It finally found it and I hope the distribution will start the soonest as possible so we are going back to normal. I'm really tired of wearing masks everyday at work...

I see huge recoveries on the stock market but might be opposite with Bitcoin as can I see that online gambling institutions will drop as offline casinos will be back to operation and crypto demand will be slowed down.

Anyway, it won't bet me a lot. The most important is we already have now the vaccine that people are waiting for.
