I was watching the Arsenal game not knowing Arne Slot did the same thing by resting some important players. It's a good thing they won the game at last. Did he get to bring up his players when it becomes tough? Arsenal was losing in the first half. Arteta had to bring up some players to strengthen the team.

Arteta is not certain to win the EPL now he has Liverpool and Chelsea to compete with not Manchester City anymore. The points difference is very clear in the league table so it's better to win one trophy than leaving the season without a single trophy for the club. Arteta has gone through several seasons with no trophy now he has to win one or two for the club.

The EFL results of this night is very fair and it went as expected unless for some greedy gamblers who might have done something different. The big names progressed to the semi finals and I wasn't surprised. However, it wasn't an easy deal for them because they had to fight till the last second, especially Arsenal and Liverpool.

Nice goals from Gabriel Jesus as he will definitely be the man of the match.

Your prediction was really good and the first prediction was correct i.e. Arsenal won. The second prediction was not correct as there were only Newcastle to score but Brentford not to score.
The game between Southampton and Liverpool is not over yet, with Liverpool leading by one goal, although the end is not yet known. However, these two teams, Tottenham and Man U, cannot be said to be true, but it is not possible to predict whether both teams will score and draw.  But on the face of it, Man U is more likely to win than Tottenham.

 The coach is left with the option of resting some top players for the weekend matches as the carabao cup is vied as a less important trophy compared to the premier league and the champions league so arn slot should rest some players so they can have a good time off and come up refreshed this weekend as they can't afford to drop points again as the league is becoming more competitive with Chelsea and Arsenal mounting up pressure on on Liverpool to overtake them in the top spot so Liverpool has to rotate their team going forward as Liverpool don't have the squad dept as most cubs do in the premier league

It's 63 minutes already into the game and Arsenal still playing one goal each draw against Crystal Palace, while having the most ball possession and shots on target, despite Crystal Palace scoring the first goal at 4 minutes into the match by Mateta, as it seems this game is likely to end draw if only Crystal Palace could maintain the momentum they started with the first half. And likewise, Newcastle United is taking the lead against Brentford with 2 goals to nil, of which both goals were scored by  Sandro Tonali. And same as Liverpool who is taking the lead with same 2 goals to nil against Southampton,  as it's obvious Newcastle and Liverpool has already won this matches tonight.

Smaller teams has finally discovered what can frustrate Arsenal, and that's playing a low-block football against them. I watched the first half which I didn't enjoy much. In as much as I don't like making some negativity comments against football managers, I just feel that Arteta might struggle with winning trophies if he lacks that decisive ability in choosing players. There are so many players who can't even match the Arsenal rhythm, but it feels like Arteta wants to accommodate them for some reasons.

And again, Arteta's decision to change his tactics this season is very bad. I'm not sure if it was intensional, but it feels like Arsenal just lack that consistent ability to score from open play. It was really expected for the coach of Liverpool to rest those players that were not named in the match day squad. That's how an experienced coach is expected to behave. With Chelsea coming up with speed in the league table, and Liverpool don't have the number of players that Chelsea have currently. So Arne Slot has to manage his team very well. Although even with the rested players, Liverpool are still winning the match, as D. Nunez scored the opening goal for Liverpool in the 24 minute of play and the first half has gone more than half. Hopefully Liverpool will win at the end of the day, but I can't say the same about Arsenal as they are trailing Crystal palace by one goal at halftime.

Arsenal is fighting so hard to make sure they equalize the goal before half time, Crystal palace is leading 1-0 at the Emirates stadium though Arsenal still have chance of turning things around in the second half that is if crystal palace continue to play defensive game in this match crystal palace should come out and play if they want to be at a safer side because it is too quick to play defensive game crystal palace has a method they playing in the game they are believing to score more goals through counter attack they could still win Arsenal at the end if they continue having a better chances of scoring because they are dominating more than arsenal in goal attempt while Arsenal has the ball possession but at the end what matters is who won the game.

It looks like Arsenal are having a hard time so far to make goals, because Crystal Palace managed to make a quick goal in the fourth minute and thus, then of course Crystal Palace will maximize to play defense. Because anyway, until the 37th minute that Arsenal are really very superior in ball possession but unfortunately, Arsenal are not good enough in goal attempts and shots on target because anyway, the fact is that Crystal Palace also has a good record too despite only playing defense. But indeed, there is still plenty of time for Arsenal to succeed in making goals and turning things around, I am personally still quite confident that Arsenal still have a good chance in this match.

I bet on Liverpool to win, but I see that Luis Dias will not be playing and is not even on the bench, the same goes for Salah. I see that the Liverpool coach is saving players and this could lead to defeat in this game. I will not cancel my bet, but I am not very optimistic that Liverpool will be able to come out with a victory in this game, since Liverpool is fighting to win the Premier League. I see that the players who will be playing today will save their physical to avoid injuries because the focus will be on shining in the Premier League games.

The Arsenal match is going to be an interesting match, Arsenal desperately need a win today, after their 2 back to back lose in the premier league, a win today will be like a bounce back from their partial poor foam in recent games. A win today will sent them to the semi final, crystal palace are also doing well, their last game against Brighton was unbelievable, how they played and took their chances was superb.

Newcastle take on brentford, I see Newcastle winning this one again, brentford are very poor away from home this season, they are yet to win a match away from home this season and I think that poor foam will extend itself today. I see Newcastle winning this one.

I see am easy win for Liverpool today after that draw at home to Fulham, after Chelsea and Manchester City out of this tournament, Liverpool seems to the favorite in winning this trophy so I see them winning today match.

Tottenham take on Manchester United, it the most interesting match in the quarter final, spurs are not really doing well right now, they are currently struggling and a win today will be like a relief, after bullying Southampton this weekend, Manchester United also did the unbelievable this weekend after beating Manchester City at the Ethihad. It’s going to be an interesting one.

Of course, who wouldn't tip Manchester United to beat Tottenham after their triumph against manchester city who happens to be one of the greats in European football, for now Manchester United are considered favourites especially after defeating rivals Manchester city in the Etihad stadium which happens to be the home ground of Manchester city, though it was a surprise win because nobody expected Manchester United to come from behind to snatch the result from Manchester city but they did it anyway and I believe they reserve the right to called favourites against Tottenham Hotspur in the cup tie.

Honestly wasn't expecting such great games in EFL.. we're spoilt for choice really. Either we see if Arsenal is up for Palace's grit in the London derby. Or which between Bees and Toons are going to show up. Liverpool Saints could even be fun, honestly, if we expect Slot to field a weaker side to keep things fresh for the main guys. Then tomorrow, Ange vs Amorim! We are so lucky, aren't we?

There is always how this cup matches usually go. In the fixtures you will see that the bigger teams are supposed to win, but it usually turns out that most times one of the smaller teams might make it to the semi finals. That being said, either Arsenal, Liverpool, or both teams might be knocked out in this phase. I may be wrong with my assessment, but over the years, in this tournament, when the competition gets to this level, we begin to see surprises and strange results. Liverpool has been very excellent no doubt about that, but what if they are the one that will be knocked out? This is just a cup match and most managers don't usually take this competition serious, and won't their best talents to play, to avoid injuries. As there going to be many games to be played this month.There is a big possibility that Liverpool or Arsenal will losing their match tonight. So instead of playing Liverpool and Arsenal direct winning, you can consider playing them over 2.5 goals. I'm just convinced that either Liverpool or Arsenal one of them will exit the competition at this stage.

The quarter final matches will kick off today actually and not tomorrow. Only the last match in your list between Tottenham and Manchester United will be played tomorrow. As for your predictions, I would also do the same if asked to. Crystal Palace are not longer the palace that destroy Arsenal and on the other side, Arsenal is on the move to make corrections having slipped down on EPL table. Liverpool without doubt will have an easy win against Southampton that's comfortable sitting on the relegation zone. Both Tottenham and Manchester United won their last match and they also have something in common. Inconsistency is one character that both Manchester United and Tottenham share this season. They perform wonder this match and play nonsense in the next one.

Good prediction that i can see you were picked mostly for the big teams and i am sure without any problem Liverpool and Arsenal can beat their opponents especially Liverpool that their opponent is Southampton who has just sack their manager and i think they can gets easy win and for Newcastle vs Brentford indeed it is hard to predict the outcomes of this match because the quality of both teams looks equal but this time i will putting Newcastle as the favourite

For Manchester United i think the winning result from Manchester City can boosted their mentally but Tottenham also in the good condition because last week they can win with huge scores from Southampton but they only can able to playing draw from Rangers in Europa league and i have to says this match is hard to predicted too but for betting option i think both teams to scores is good pick

The last match is really hard to predict because both of the teams are inconsistent, Manchester United looks strong after they won against Manchester City, but the two goals they scored are full of luck.

Even great coach does need time to adapt and show good performance in bringing football team in the right direction, but if it is for development I think just by going through few match is enough for the coach to see and evaluate what to do for the next steps.
For some reason under coach Ruben Amorim I am quite excited about Manchester United and feel that there is something new that they will show in the future, however this is an important competition for them to prove that now they deserve to compete again more competitively.
We just have to see how the results turn out, whether we expect for Manchester United will actually be achieved or not.

But we do not know yet whether Man United's condition under the new manager will be better or even the same as when Ten Hag handled this team. If Ruud is still handling this club I believe that Man United might perform well in this match if seen from some of the results he has obtained, but we will see in the next few times before carrying out this match if Amorim can make Man United perform well in all matches with that then I am sure Man United can reach the semifinals.
