I just got the paid version and it is working great. I had to change to 625 frequency since my Z9 was overheating ( getting over 80) with 100% fan. So now with 625 freq I get 53, 54 ksol. I might have to get a fan to blow direct to my Z9 and then I will change the freq to 650.

sukitars - awesome, thank you. Once you get your temps down, please update us/me!

I bought the firmware from you and sent you an email 2 days ago. may you check your inbox when you have time?

Thank you.

Ominero,

If I missed you, I apologize. My normal response time is as close to instant as I can make it. I will be back at my computer in a couple of hours and will send or resend. I thought I had covered you, but I don’t have my notes in front of me at the moment.

Thank you,

Jason

OminerO,

Your transaction came in on 26/Sep/2018 at 11:41AM UTC time.

I sent you your download link via the forums on "Sent to: OminerO on: September 26, 2018, 02:01:23 PM" UTC time.

Further, your firmware was downloaded approximately 26 minutes after that message was sent, also UTC time.

85.171.x.x - - [26/Sep/2018:14:27:29 +0000] "GET /thanks/for/trying/to/guess/the/URL/from/this/post/you/wont HTTP/1.1" 200 12496753 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0" "-"

The portions redacted match your TxID which maps back to the ZEC address I provided, which was specific to just you.

I have double checked to ensure I did not accidentally use the ZEC address twice, and I have not.

Please contact me via DM/PM to discuss if you feel you still have not received the download as it is possible I have made a mistake.

Thank you,

Jason

After the trump tax and bitmain delaying the shipments, I have to say I am grateful you have taken the time to make this publicly available. Hats of to you sir. Much better than measly coupon codes lol

haha. Yeah, those coupons kinda pissed me off. My 2nd batch ones arrived before the 1st! lol.

A bit pricey, but Works like a charm! thanks  Wink

gibberish1, Please do let me know where your kSols settles. Most are settling around the 56kSol +/- 1kSol at 650Mhz.

Thank you for the response/feedback!

Been incrementally increasing every 12h or so by 25MHz, at 625 and completely stable. Temperatures holding steady in the high 70s, great work!

Awesome, glad to hear it. I think the temp handling (airflow, specifically) in these units is more of a challenge than the mini's, but my runtime on them is days vs. the months I had with the minis.

Now if you really want a project all you have to do is figure out how to get the Z9 to mine Equihash 144, 5.. It would be badass to have all the chips split the data requirement and work together.. That would be a crazy firmware project but probably nearly impossible. I would really be interested in some mini upgrades though, I have batch a batch 1 and batch 2 running now. Would be legit if they could push 20k sols a piece.

Haha. If I could have done that, I wouldn't have sold my mini's. It's more about the hardware than firmware. ASICs are not field programmable and the IO path for crypto doesn't lean itself towards intercept to help with off-ASIC memory.
