Although they had shut down their site once but now active again. Their merchants list has not been updated to reflect this suspension and it seems meaningless though. Are they still trying to do something to solve this issue?

I guess not really as they are not communicating with their customers. They are not even able to publish at least some status updates. Myself I would consider Egopay a scam and if they are trying to investigate this issue then this is a very poor, slowly and unprofessional support.

Hello everybody,

at the moment EgoPay service is facing some issues. We are investigating the problem. EgoPay Team will inform everybody as soon as  issues will be solved.

Seems to be no progress so far... The problem is Egopay had left the issue from late December to recently. They should had suspended the service immediately with the announcement.  Sad

Right. It can happen to anybody to be hacked but you come with an announcement about that. It is not a shame to say the truth. You earn your customer's respect in this way.
Egopay preferred to cover the shit until Jan 10 until many exchangers complained about their frozen funds and about "no answer attitude".

Until now, they did not reply to any ticket and most likely, they won't.

Yep it looks very bad. They blocked thousands of dollars of many clients and two exchanges - BTC-e and Bitmarket:

Egopay was hacked and then they blocked all the accounts. The money are missing. Millions of USD.

The exchangers do not have access to the funds. They lost a lot of money(including the bitcoin exchangers).

I always met problems when I deposits on LakeBTC, their explanation is something wrong in Egopay not Lakebtc. I thought it's just their prevarication until for now. wish you fix it quickly, regards

This morning we received several transaction notifications from EgoPay via merchant API. These notifications were posted from the usual IP adress of Egopay (95.211.120.119) and were verified byt the SCI callback provided by EgoPay. However, the funds from these transactions were not added to our wallet. The transactions have very similar IDs, for example ZYYYXL-CLB1B2-AB93GV and ZYYYXX-WHQJNB-E2HQ1S.

It looks that someone has hacked EgoPay servers and is sending fake transactions to merchants. We suspect this because (a) the notifications come from the IP address of EgoPay server and (b) the transactions were verified correctly by the callback to EgoPay server.

At the moment we have disabled EgoPay payments on our exchange. However, we need this matter resolved immediately because it potentially compromises all merchants who use EgoPay as a method of payment.

EgoPay wants to announce that Bitcurex has added EgoPay as its payment processor. This partnership expands EgoPay's Bitcoin Merchants list and widens customers’ trading possibilities in the growing Bitcoin market. It is important to note that EgoPay offers one of the most accessible fees in comparison with other payment processors at Bitcurex. The fee for this partnership will be 2% + 0.5 EUR/USD per transaction.
