Yeah, ok ETH is much faster when it comes to transaction time, its blocks are much more neat; it has an infinite potential, BUT i-on the other hand, Bitcoin is Bitcoin. It is the most recognizable crypto in the world, its market cap is almost doubled compared to Ethereum.

Like most said, both are good in their own way...

I dont think that Ethereum can be better than Bitcoin in long term. But for sure is that Ethereum will follow in the price and it will be worth 2k USD in 2019.. Mark my words guys Grin

Some users are being comparable ethereum vs bitcoin, I always sees bitcoin has the biggest and brightest future than ethereum
Because bitcoin is already adopts and attracted by many users to invest in bitcoin, the opportunity it can give to the users. Though ethereum I always considered the next to bitcoin.

Call me shallow but I think Bitcoin is much better. It has a bigger market cap, so big that it can't be outmatched. It takes up almost half of the crypto market and no matter what it'll be as big as this.

it is not simply because everyone who is investing in ethereum is like you, people who close their eyes on the facts and try so hard to compare it with bitcoin, the only thing that is already good, so that they can gain some attention and possibly get others to invest in it so that they can make more money from their mistakes.

I wrote a simple paper pointing out the differences between Ethereum and Bitcoin. In most aspects Ethereum is better, it's newer, faster and it's potential is infinite. Bitcoin on the other hand is only a currency; "transfer X amount from A to B" it's robust, slow and dull. Just by being the kickstarter of thi technology, BTC grew big, so big that no one expected this around 2010 and no matter the FUD created by some, they'll grow bigger and bigger.

In Ethereum, you can create a decentralized autonomous organization on the basis of a contract, which opens up unlimited possibilities. And tokens in Ethereum are not equated to shares, they give the right to vote. I think it makes sense to invest in it.

Yes Ethereum is better in many fronts like tokenizing and smart contracts, but bitcoin is huge, it is the single largest coin and represents the crypto and blockchain technology, after segwit activation we are seeing low transaction fee with quick transfers so bitcoin is here to stay and it will grow even more.

I don't oppose these coins. It seems to me that they complement each other. I use ETH if the bitcoin network is overloaded. I think that I can apply this analogy: Bitcoin is the main coin and ETH is the serving coin. But this doesn't diminish the importance of ETH.

I think ethereum is good. May be better than bitcoin. But bitcoin is gold. Father of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is king.
Silver (ethereum) can not be gold anytime. With Bitcoin's hard movements, the etherrum can lose value. This shows that the bitcoin is more valuable.
This shows us bitcoin is better than eth.

No, ethereum is not better than the bitcoin in terms of prices because it can never have the expensive price as bitcoin has due to its unlimited availability.But the ethereum is better when we compare it with the transaction fee and speed.

Why is bitcoin is always best. It is first introduced coins and which has the high marketcap, high amount of holding, high amount in use and in price wise as well.
Ethereum, this coin recently found and grab the marketplace due to smart contract proposal alone.

If they did not grab the little part of source coder of bitcoin in the ethereum project. They will get the place in the top 100 place also.
They are giving space to make the ERC20 tokens in the chart.

As at the moment none is clearly better that the other, they both serve their purposes very well. Ethereum on the other hand would get better on the future because it serves as the basis for most of the new tokens issued during ICOs. Provided that these ICOs continue, ETH will always be in the limelight. As at now, most people who don't know anything about Cryptocurrencies always know or heard of Bitcoin.
