Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
I'm not surprised that they're still up to this whole thing all over again... I can't also give a direct proposal as to why I feel their enthusiasm is Heavily backed with the fact that they MAY HAVE had something to do with the inventories and plannings of this whole structure.... Could someone help think the same way??! Ofcourse, rhetorical!
Tutoring the kids would possibly be the best options for them - especially since the future would be in Thier hands, and would definitely be controlled by what they learnt to be true. They'll also make history globally should Thier endeavours pave way for them.

I tried to check the content of the curriculum but I couldn't find any of the documents. But it is obvious that these students will be introduced to the basics of bitcoin like wallets, transactions, security, etc. And it also seems like the target is high school students which is okay. Teaching children who are less than twelve years old might not be the right decision because they might not understand the concept. There is also a report that participants are given a diploma certificate that is nationally recognized.

An undiluted Bitcoin education is needed globally. People need to know about Bitcoin and its benefits to individuals, businesses, and institutions. So it's great news to know that over 25,000 students have learned about bitcoin in El Salvador and this awareness is moving to other Latin American countries like Uruguay and Cuba. All of these students might not embrace Bitcoin but the few that accept it will spread the good news.

I am not surprised to see that Elsalvador has added Bitcoin to their school curriculum, firstly they added Bitcoin as amongst their legal tenders this was a good step but definitely there are citizens of Elsalvador that are still not completely enlightened about Bitcoin adding this to their school curriculum makes it better for them to be able to access good knowledge of Bitcoin and how to implement it into their daily life. In my opinion this was a great move from Elsalvador .

To be honest, I am quite shocked to see since the adoption of BTC, they had not started this type of program. Because we all know without providing them the knowledge they needed. It gives the vibe , that things are forced upon them. And they had no other option but to accept the BTC and from 2021 to till now they had not started the education program. It is so shocking for me.

Well! What we can do, "They dance to the beat of their own clock". I hope things will change for them while things changed for the neighbor country of El-Salvador. As they did not accepted the BTC as legal tender but they ad adopting it at mass level.
If you have been following what's happening in El Salvador, you would know the government has been involved in a lot of Bitcoin related projects in the country. So we might want to excuse them for this as it must have been long expected but at the same time the move is commendable. Before now some NGO like Mi Primer Bitcoin has taken it upon themselves to be going around in schools to teach students about Bitcoin. So the pilot program is a welcome development but I don't think 150 teachers from 7 schools is enough, especially the number of schools involved but it's something they can build upon.

What do you all think about the methodology of adoption the El Salvador government is using to shovel bitcoin knowledge to every home through school students?
Will the goal be attainable and what does this mean for your own country?

It's a great idea for EI Salvador to teach about Bitcoin in schools. It's a really appreciable innovation done by EI Salvador. This will provide more information to young ones and also the potential benefits of it and inform more people which lead to more adaptation of Bitcoin. The EI Elavador is adopting the right strategy by teaching about Bitcoin in the schools which will reach a large number of people at the right time because the young will understand it better and watching them the other schools will also adopt this trend which will make the whole country towards bitcoins.

Bitcoin is a new technology but it gaining popularity in the world and learning about it is more likely to adopt it. I think other countries should learn from the EI Slavador and use the same techniques in their country.

This is the best way to provide knowledge about BTC because if the younger ones will understand the benefits and potential of BTC then by time they will become expert of it and they will dominate in different field of Blockchain technology. This initiative is really great and the way is good because kids will learn it and those who will show interest might provide some useful insights in the development of new technologies based on TC blockchain.

New innovation might be made, but till then I hope such programs might start in my country too. But the chances are very rare. As crypto is ban but we are not stopped or restricted by the government o learn about crypto so we can learn about it on our own while governments are unable to fulfill the full facilities even in simpler studies then thinking about Crypto is not a normal thing.

And a matter of fact, most of the political leaders do not want their supports to be educated about something by using which people could expose them. Just saying.

Its good news when El Savador adopting bitcoin education in school curiculum, actually not doubt with this progress for El Savador will adopt bitcoin as subject in school curriculum after legalizing bitcoin as payment currency transaction in 2021. Actually its seems still late with adapting Bitcoin education in school curriculum because need more than two years for adapting as subject in the school there. El Savador government try to make Bitcoin as beneficial payment currency in the future and teach their student how to understand well and easily for earning profit through Bitcoin.

I hope one day later in my country have option with bitcoin education in school curriculum as subject option for student, they can make Bitcoin as passive income or side job in the future after passing from school.

This action in my opinion is made necessary to bridge the  knowledge gap about bitcoin among the future generations of El Salvador.

Bitcoin education is no doubt going to help the present and future generations have more interest and understandings about bitcoin, i believe a time is coming where everyone in El-Savador will prefer nothing other than bitcoin transaction in making payments or having their assets investments.

If other governments follow the path of El Salvador as a nation it won't be long the campaign for a widespread bitcoin adoption will be achieved.

Other government were actually hearing about this and are watching to see where it will all landed at, they may remain indecisive now because they don't know how to go about it or what may others say, especially when they see that US and China or UK aren't adopting yet as a legal tender, they believe it's still risky to invest or adopt as legal tender.

What do you all think about the methodology of adoption the El Salvador government is using to shovel bitcoin knowledge to every home through school students?

Every average El-Savadoran student will have the knowledge about bitcoin and finds it at all convenience to use

Will the goal be attainable and what does this mean for your own country?
Discussions are invited.

If El-Savador are setting a goal, what they ensure is in seeing that that are feasible and achievable, this is clear from going back down to memory lane of how they started.

Given that there is a main topic about El Salvador in the Bitcoin Discussion, I wonder why there is a new topic at all and why in Beginners & Help?
I applaud you for bringing that to my notice, quite alright both topics are projected towards El Salvador, but there is a discrepancies between the two topics Two years ago today, El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as legal tender, meanwhile i wouldn't mind locking my topic if it does spells out an iota of duplication or spam despite the difference in their informations and discussion.

This is a good move by the forget to teach bitcoin in school. I am not surprise at it because before taking decisions on what to do next as a country that has adopted bitcoin, you must first observe the rate of adoption of bitcoin and what will be a barrier to the adoption. Bukele has seen that the knowledge is important if the country wants everybody to adopt it,and he has also seen that the youths are the leaders of tomorrow. This is why he has chosen to train 150 teachers to be grounded on the basics of bitcoin,so that these teachers can impact the knowledge on their students. So many benefits will be achieved by El Salvador citizens from bitcoin and it blockchain. El Salvador wants to use bitcoin to step out from poor economy in the nearest future.

As for the school program, I'm not surprised that the authorities are going in that direction, because they obviously realized that the only way to attract more people to Bitcoin is to start with the young population. What doesn't make sense is that you think that other governments in the world will go in the same direction just because El Salvador did it.

Imagine the situation if the US, the UK or the EU declare Bitcoin legal tender and start telling everyone to use it instead of national currencies. El Salvador replaced their national currency with $ 20+ years ago, so they are in a specific situation where they can experiment with Bitcoin.

El Salvador doing the most when it comes to bitcoin & crypto adoption! I mean what haven't they done, they have legalized bitcoin use, adopted crypto/bitcoin in their school curriculum which is unheard of...if only that bitcoin investment they had could grow to repay them for putting all their eggs in one basket!

I wonder how long this project will take to get the teachers crypto ready because this crypto thing needs personal interest for you to easily catch it.. otherwise hope it works for ElSalvador.

In a modern society things are ought not to be done in a rush manner but in an organized and coordinated way and I think that's what the El Salvador government had taken time to map out since 2021. What would have mede it seem forceful on the people was if the education was immediately thrown on them but rather they were given time to understand and have contact with the technology. For me the timing wasn't wrong and shouldn't be shocking but rather should be welcomed.

Besides all this, I had this feeling in mind way before when El-Salvador adopted the BTC as legal tender. That they are adopting it at the wrong time. At least the time of accumulation was wrong because BTC was already at its high and they bought it and after that price came down and till now the country is suffering from financial problems. But as I said, things will change for them once the price of BTC will make new ATH.
I understand your concern about El-Salvador, buy in that time is not wrong decision because no one can say what will happen next. El-Salvador government have big plans for there country because even when the price is going down is still putting more effort to spread the awareness of bitcoin and the cryptocurrency at large.

Talking about there financial challenges, don't consider that as there involvement in crypto that brought the challenges, almost some of the countries of the world are facing the same thing, which they are not involve in bitcoin. I think the El-Salvador government is also looking for a way to solve the problem this financial problem that why Bitcoin is now going to be a subject in school.

because El Salvador legalized Bitcoin as a currency used as a transaction tool, I think the government's move to build knowledge in schools is a good way.
steps like this might be imitated by countries that may not have legalized Bitcoin as currency. but maybe the study is different, not as a currency but as part of world economic studies.
El Salvador has been very supportive of growing Bitcoin adoption. the steps they are taking are also to strengthen the use of Bitcoin in their country. it's like teaching young children about fiat money. only they replaced it with the use of Bitcoin.
El Salvador has their own history of financial development that is worth telling the younger generation about.

A game changing decision for El Salvador. They will surely surpass others in the future, I'm sure of it, if they successfully establish this thing. Bitcoin/Crypto education has become a must for everyone. But many doesn't value it or doesn't know the significant of it. Bitcoin is the best thing that happened to me personally, it's the new future. And El Salvador just keep adapting to it and surprising everybody.

I think it's about time and for me it's kinda late. They should have included it when they adopted BTC legally. But hey, since Bukele is still their President and most likely will run for the next Presidential election, El Salvador will continue as a haven for bitcoin and bitcoin enthusiast.

And hopefully they will produce a lot of great and talented students to be involved not just in bitcoin per se, but blockchain and who knows, developed something big for their country and the whole world to used because they have been exposed with it in their schools.

They are doing education which is good because children in the world future and they should be educated well.

I hope (but I know it is unrealistic) El Salvador government will include importance of being self custody (non custody) in using any Bitcoin wallet. I think it is unrealistic because Chivo wallet asks KYC.

El Salvador's government is at it again after the country adopted bitcoin as a legal tender in June of 2021 as one of the first countries to take such a bold step.

This method initiated by the El Salvador government to train 150 teachers that we teach students in various schools in El Salvador will create more understanding of Bitcoin to the citizens of El Salvador and also increase Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador. This idea will serve as a means of employment and also increase the acceptance of Bitcoin as payment in El Salvador. Only the news of this will have a positive impact on Bitcoin and the crypto market at large.
