How do get namecoin payed ?? I mean, is it set to the same ammount like BTC ??

So, if I set BTC payout to lets say 0.5, do namecoin get payed also at 0.5 ?? Or how does that work ??

Thanks.

Namecoin gets paid when you have at least 0.1 NMC when the payout is initiated.
Curious as to why there isn't an option to set the autopayout for NMC? and or why it doesn't get set
to what the btc payout is set too?

Honestly, too much effort for too little.  In my opinion namecoin is pointless as it stands as far as its original mission, and I honestly have very little idea why NMC retains any value also.

That said, NMC is very low priority for me.  I'll always put my efforts towards improvements on the bitcoin side of things before any non-critical namecoin things.  Namecoin stats, settings, etc just aren't important.

Seems there is a new release of namecoind.

2014-09-12 Out now: Namecoin v0.3.76 at http://namecoin.info/

Wonder if this will fix the problem, as people have noticed there hasnt been a NMC payment since mid August.

Announcement

As always, Eligius plans to support full miner customisation of their own policies via GBT as soon as it's finished.
However, since that is still a bit off, we've decided to hold a public discussion to determine the more near-future Eligius transaction mining policies.
Topics may include things such as spam filtering, transaction fees, prioritisation, or anything else that affects what transactions we put in our blocks.

The discussion has been tentatively scheduled for October 4th at 4 PM UTC in hopes that this is convenient for the greatest possible number of miners.
This is 9 AM for west coast USA, noon for east coast USA, and 8 PM for Moscow.
It is also Lamboary  at 9.99T by the Tonal calendar and clock.

Since the meeting may have high turn-out, it is advised to use a dedicated IRC client or the freenode webchat client rather than the webpage's Chat applet.

but I guess there is no source that can be 100% trusted? I guess blockchain.info is the most trustworthy that at least attempts to display block status?
Least trustworthy, you mean. Unless you're talking about trusting it to make up utter bogus nonsense...

5 blocks orphaned today Sad
edit: or is it blockchain.info bug, because all blocks mined today show as orphaned.
I wish people would stop using blockchain.info so we didn't have to revisit how misinformative it is all the time...

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
Wow sorry, you're both incoherent and off base. Weird.

Makes sense bad: Technically it makes no difference what pool one picks, other than fees (Eligius is really good there), but it really just boils down to luck. Which is the same everywhere on the planet Earth.

Didn't think about being a backup pool.

Weird. Why would people jump like that?

Probably have Eligius set as a backup/failover pool in case their main pool goes down.  Eligius is a preferred failover because it is pool-hopping-neutral.
