In gonna go all out and say that this will be $3 by this time next year. Bold prediction I know, but it definitely is a string possibility.

Why not? That would be an approx market cap of 80 million USD.

It's a hidden gem I agree, just hope the team continue their hard work.

I think what will help Elixir is if most of these lending platforms succeed, onus is on them to proof their model is sustainable, which I think is not long term

...

You can loan to yourself in crypto and therefore increase your earnings by being rewarded for completing your own loan. Additionally devs are looking at pool lending for crowd funding and other options. The way I see it is that both ripio and salt are doing similar things and they have done quite well for themselves
“You can loan to yourself in crypto and therefore increase your earnings by being rewarded for completing your own loan.”

That probably isn’t the point of the token, the way I see it that would be more of abusing the system then finding a use for the token. Loaning is not really that hard to do with Fiat or Bitcoin, and I just don’t see a token based on loaning doing well in the long term (even if it offers incentives to borrowers, since the loaners usually set the term).

But of course I could be wrong, I've been wrong before.

For my sake I hope you are wrong Wink

What do you guys think of Elixir?

Elix is a base token for a lending service that will analyze financial transactions and reward borrowers for paying off loan installments on time. In addition, the lending service will eliminate the need to pay for brokers. These incentives and automatic recourse will give the lending system an advantage over both fiat currencies and other virtual currencies.
...
I hate to be negative, but just think about this:
It’s a token that is designed to reward people for paying off loans in time. What kind of a bank uses cryptocurrencies, and if they did what makes you think that they wouldn’t design their own? In the long term, once the hype dies down, I don’t see any kind of token like this doing well.

Not that I wish anything bad against Elixir, it’s just I don’t see any uses for it (making it only backed by hype).

I was anticipating some replies, this is actually a great project, the price is really quite low.

fill up on elix now, q1-q2 2018 is gunna get real
And why?

Q1 - new website + team reveal, alpha of app launches
Q2 - beta launches
Q3 - full public launch

There’s more but DYOR

Where did you get that the work on the website will last until Q1?

I bet it's just around the corner and will be live in Q4/17 already ..

It is in development now, q1 starts January so idk it’ll be at the beginning of the quarter - hopefully sooner

Elixir is one of the most undervalued tokens in crypto. It was pumped and dumped which gave it a bad rep. It has the hardest working devs I have ever seen. They consistently under promise and over deliver. They also provide weekly updates just to keep the community happy. When the app releases early next year and bigger exchanges are added, I can see this hitting $1 easily. It is my biggest sleeper pick for 2018.

I have it on my watchlist right now. Will not invest until there will be presented the whole team on the new website as promised.

If they deliver I expect at least x5 price action in 2018.

I think this could be a very solid investment:
- robust technology
- low supply (24 million)
- low price ($0.059057)
- active team / community

Another one on my radar is Phore.
