His decision and viral tweet really influences many thinks, especially the passion of many people to folllow the FOMO and Hype of the coin. In this case, this realy influences the market. Price is increasing so significantly.
For now, I think Elon won't do such a thing. This is how manipulated the market is.
I don't think so either. Elon Musk said on Monday at the Clubhouse social media app that bitcoin is "on the verge" of wider acceptance among investors and he expressed strong support for the cryptocurrencies.
"I am a supporter of bitcoin. I was a little slow on the uptake," he said. And then he added that he should have bought it eight years ago.
I didn't look at it that way but it's very timely indeed that Elon just comes in time at the very beginning of the year where most are likely speculating the bears are going to come just like Jan 2018. I'm however very positive about the market reaction when he shills for Doge and then he suddenly pushes by buying $1.5B worth of BTC. This is more of teasing the other markets that they are experiencing massive loss while the crypto sphere is having a party.

Probably yes. Elon Musk is a big thing and the current result is good.
But on the other hand, one negative view or attempt to make a panic threw by this guy, it can create havoc and that's where the community will be tested.
But don't worry. It's just my speculation. For now, I think Elon won't do such a thing. This is how manipulated the market is.
Due to bitcoin has big company and industrial support, we were predicting that if market get crash then it wouldn't go below then $20k. But this time after telsa buy billion of dollar worth bitcoin and keep supporting it.that's makes bitcoin more stronger than before and i don't think btc could go below deeply cause elon mask wouldn't want that cause if bitcoin crash like 2018, then telsa company would also face loss.undoubtedly the entry of elon mask help crypto industry to grow more

Musk turned out to be an excellent speculator who turns the market as he wants. His brilliant idea for Tesla's $ 1.5 billion investment in cryptocurrency has fully paid off. If Apple now also invests in bitcoin (and such rumors are already circulating), then we will grow for a long time. Elon Musk, OP. To correct you.That's what exactly I am thinking these days if people were just influenced by celebrity. That would mean that anytime the hype will just turn off and people would start exiting the market already.
I am not driven by anything from what I invest because it is merely my own money and my decision not by other people.
Most traders think so only because they saw 40k and thought that this is the limit, but this is not so. As far as I know, Bitcoin makes x20 from the previous values in a cycle, so I'm afraid to say these numbers, but they are huge. The market will continue to grow for a long time.

It happens almost very often, because some investors also follow the flow and direction of Elon Musk, so it is only natural that in today's cryptocurrency many Altcoin prices are already very extraordinary than before.

Bitcoin has already shift it's narrative even prior to the Elon Musk revelation (although we have been suspecting that he might be investing on crypto before this big news). So that change has been here already. But when he admitted or at least his company openly says that they have investment on bitcoin and other commodities, crypto went on another bull run so I doubt that we will see any drastic market corrections moving forward. Why wait for bear market though, we should enjoy what we are seeing right now and then we prepare ourselves in the next coming years for the bear market. But for now, I don't see it happening soon.

He made an impact but I doubt if he can stop a correction or a bear market, many believe him but investors will not and cannot rely on Elon Musk all the time, it still depends on big and small traders and if there are big FUDS and the bad situation just like what we've had last year because of the pandemic Elon's entry is good but cannot be sustainable in a long haul.,
By and large, we all knew that large corporations would sooner or later turn their attention to bitcoin.

Although I dont like what Elon Musk and is doing or the coins he is pumping we can't ignore ignore the fact that he has brought massive attention to crypto among his followers. So it's good for the field and the adoption.

We should be thanking Elon for being such enthusiast on Crypto, he somehow contributed on the recent BTC pump, as well as Dogecoin. Now everyone is waiting for his tweet and go crazy everytime he make some words 'bout crypto or DOGE.
Yeah because Elon Musk is the whales of all whales in crypto. He can change the market trend by himself only. He can pump any coin he wants up to the percentage he wants he only needs to invest and buy those coins and it will have a sudden price value increase. Look what happened to dogecoin, I believe he doesn't just hype and advertises it, but he also bought a huge amount of dogecoin. He can change how crypto market works in an instant and that is the true power in whales.
Although Bitcoin's market usually has patterns, institutional investors are joining now in a domino effect. Expect irregular market moves since right now it's the rich moving large bags of money rather than the people. A bull run was expected by many in 2021, so what Musk has done is.. he probably just sparked the heavy bull run!

We don't know what will happen, but I don't think it will be like 2018. After all, Elon Musk is the most respected person right now. so, if he chooses bitcoin, then bitcoin will be something special in the eyes of many people who are not familiar with it. however, this has drawn a lot of attention to bitcoin. So, I think the dump for the next year can be anticipated.
Yes, it will not be the same as in 2018. Bitcoin becomes more popular than the last year or two years, so the mass adoption will still grow, and that impact to the market cycles will be different from the last years. Yesterday, Elon Musk brought attention to people who don't know much about crypto, especially for bitcoin and dogecoin.
But I don't know what will happen for the next dump that can happen anytime. Hopefully, the dump will not be the same as before, and even if the price is down, it will not drop significantly like before.
