I like your hypothesis but , in my opinion, i don't thing Elon Musk is Satoshi Nakamoto, because EM do the "green" thing and bitcoin is not totally "green" and the maxim of EM is different from what bitcoin exposes in general. 2 man above are great man with great inventions but is not the same one.

I don't understand why people are so obsessed with finding out who Satoshi Nakamoto is. It has pretty much become a buzzword by now. Doesn't matter who he is, the system he created works and I think that's the only thing that should concern us.

maybe, finding satoshi nakamoto is one of their goal of life. back to topic, just because elon working on paypal a few year ago, it doesnt prove that he is nakamoto.

Haha I heard that in a couple of places, I don't think it is true otherwise he would just cash out a few bitcoin to help with the Tesla books which are in need of some help currently with their cashflow.

If he's keeping it hidden he's playing dumb and doing a good job of making sure the secret is kept because he says he was given part of a Bitcoin but doesn't know where it is.

Just as he tweeted he is not Satoshi Nakamoto. Just compare PayPal (where he has been working for some time). His working style is completely different from Nakamoto's. Also BTC can't be called a "green" technology so it can't be so populistic as Elon Musk usualy do.

No such thing as Green Technology. It doesn't exist yet.
When it does, Bitcoin will most likely go Green too.

Elon is just a marketing face, he sells his products and does it a quite good. He could be a seller of Bitcoin but not a creator. Satoshi doesn't exist as a person, all of us are playing a well staged game and a question is not "Who" but "When" (..will they take all of our money..)

Because he's controversial and everyone wants to know who he really is. I'm also obsess and curious who Satoshi Nakamoto really is.

But I think he's not only a single person, he might be a group and SN is just a codename. This rumor that Elon Musk is SN is also now popular in social medias.

It doesn't really matter who Satoshi is for bitcoin is open source so knowing and not knowing is just about our own curiousity.

Anyone can claim Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto and it's difficult to find him except he/they will inform the public their identities. It's better for them to hide their identities in secret to protect their lives.

Wait what? Was it ever rumored that Elon Musk was Satoshi? This is the first I've heard of it. Although, if we were guessing who Satoshi was based on merit alone, though, Elon Musk would also be at the top of my list. He's obviously a very brilliant man who is a true innovator. He's one of the few genuine revolutionaries of which Satoshi is also a part of. But then again, he's already a wildly popular personality and it just makes no sense for him to hide the fact that he created Bitcoin. If he says he's not Satoshi, I believe him.

in my opinion, if satoshi nakamoto is a good person, he will not reveal his identity because he doesn't need to be famous. he will think that it is better for him to stay behind the dark without anyone know who is he. a good person doesn't need to be known by other people but he will do the best he can and make sure what he does will work fine. so if there is any person that wants to try to reveal that he is the real satoshi nakamoto then it is up to you, do you believe or not.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-28/elon-musk-tweets-to-debunk-speculation-that-he-s-behind-bitcoin
It has been rumored for a while already, but today Elon Musk gave his answer. So, what do you think about it? Could Elon Musk be a Satoshi Nakamoto?

Why are you spreading misinformation? The article is about how Elon IS NOT Satoshi. Yet your thread headline is that Elon IS Satoshi...and in you're commentary you're still pushing that it's possible.

If you don't believe what the article is saying, why don't you share what details seem fake?

Elon Musk was starting Tesla in 2008/2009, do you think he also had time to deploy a project as revolutionary and fragile as Bitcoin? I doubt he is Satoshi, but he could have been part of the original group of Cypherpunks that Satoshi delivered his/her white paper to.

Just compare PayPal (where he has been working for some time).

Elon got booted as CEO from PayPal in 2000 and PayPal was sold to eBay for $1.5B in 2003. So....Elon HASN'T been working at PayPal for some time.

Well Satoshi did say that he was going onto other projects and it might have been when he left PayPal too. Elon Musk

should seriously consider accepting Bitcoin directly for his Tesla cars and his Power Wall.... because there is a huge demand

for it in the Bitcoin community. Imagine using his Power wall, combined with Solar panels with Crypto currency mining.  Wink
