People will surely complain if they will require KYC because most people want privacy and don't want to share their personal information. Remember this is only a suggestion. there is no official talk about this yet. after all it seems quite difficult to implement. First doge and twitter are not connected to each other, and this suggestion will only create new problems. without users, twitter will lose their revenue. and this suggestion will potentially lower their user level. so I don't think they will heed this suggestion.

Pretty much sure if this will not become good news for anyone twitter. So the only way to prevent the bot is to implement the payment to access mechanism. The same thing as when someone was accessing BTT from evil IP and this guy need to pay some bitcoin to make its IP will not be marked as evil IP. So this is the only way to prevent the bot but a very big impact on the twitter will come soon. Im sure that so many people have not yet ready for this. They are known twitter as a free social media platform but once this turn out to be pay-to-use and a disaster for twitter itself.

I’m guessing elon just gonna impose a stricter verification for its platform because so far I think that’s the most effective way out there.

making twitter platform that requires fee for retweeting, verification, etc just gonna make twitter suffer heavy backlash from losing so many of its users, even if it solves the mess caused by the bots,
I think just requiring simple verification that’s also free like using captcha are the one way to go because its just simple, anyone already used to it and also not gonna incur heavy user loses.

Is Elon the new owner of DOGE as well? I wonder why I keep seeing a post like this where DOGE are being connected to Elon which I think is just a pure hype. If ever Elon really wants to use DOGE on twitter services, then that is a good thing but for sure DOGE will become more volatile and you can't expect everyone to win with DOGE since many will be trap again because of this over hype. Twitter problem can't be solve by DOGE, they should solve this internally.

What do I think? Well I think they have managed to find a way to create additional utility for dogecoin which has confirmed what I have read before concerning Elon Musk intention for buying twitter.
If they feel this will be good for the growth of dogecoin and at the same time reduce the level of spam on twitter, they will do what it takes to make it so.

So this means that in able for user to flag spam post, He needs to have a Dogecoin balance since there’s a penalty for reporting wrong spam post. This is a good idea in general to avoid spam but this will twitter more stricter since it’s hard to define what’s spam or not on a social media post. Even Elon is trolling and spamming twitter and other influencers that has sense of humor. But let’s see how this idea will proceed and I’m very happy to become spam reporter for this reward system.

On the surface it sounds like a nice solution and I guess all Dogecoin holders will be very happy BUT remember that you will also anger a lot of people who have always seen social media as free to use.

This could result in a lot of Twitter uses leaving (like me) and not coming back especially if you now have to use crypto other than Bitcoin just for the price of access.

Speculation drives prices in cryptocurrency and irrespective of whether Mark Cuban's idea is implemented or not, it will always have a positive effect on the price of Dogecoin unless Twitter publicly rejected the idea.

I think the idea of using Dogecoin is not bad but the question is, Is Dogecoin the best. We'll have to consider the blockchain security, speed, and the cost of transactions. If there are better coins suited for the task out there, then I'll suggest twitter should go for that coin.

Yeah, I agree with you. If and only if that the intention is to use doge coin as a way of becoming the payment in exchange to the usage of Twitter, I don’t think people would still use it. There are tons of other social media applications, which are very free to use, that they would most likely switch on to. But, on the other side, I think Elon Musk must have thought about this possibility as well. I hope they come up with better idea, especially with the integration of doge coin.

Think about doge coin was about the alternative idea but what will be the usefulness of doge coin other than becoming pay to use Twitter? i see no reason to use doge coin other than it.

Pay for registration or using a social media service is stupid idea so Shark tank or anyone called advisor won't appreciate that and also Elon Musk knows that people will not pay to social media they simply move to another one, probably they can add blue tick for everyone for a fee make sense.
