At first we all believed and we were happy that a rich and famous man like Elon Musk adopted Bitcoin, he announced the purchase of huge quantities of Bitcoin and announced that he would not speculate with it, so we believed that he believed in Bitcoin, but unfortunately it turned out that he owns the mind of capitalist traders that only understands the language of money and profits, He simply manipulates people and only cares about filling his pocket with rotten money, he only believes in money and he does not care about Bitcoin, Dogecoin or anything else, but rather he is interested in reaping profits and using a dirty method to achieve this.
Many people have been fooled by it from the beginning, but I think that the majority have begun to understand the game now, Bitcoin is stronger than all those idiots who think they can eliminate it, so Bitcoin will remain and come back stronger than before.

And people are annoyed when someone calls them "sheeple". This is the perfect demonstration of how close we are to sheeps right now. A random stranger posts a word on Twitter and the sheep are interpreting it more than the Bible has ever been before.

We're living weird times for sure. I suppose the Musk domination of markets will last as long as McAfee's did, and then he goes back into the darkness.. with billions in profit though. I can't wait to read his new tweet claiming he was definitely wrong about the BTC carbon footprint and that "experts" proved him the opposite. His tweets are very predictable at this point.

Elon Musk is the new McAfee now. He thought of a way how to accumulate more bitcoin for his own benefit, he hypes the dogecoin while keeps saying bad things about bitcoin. If bitcoin dumps, his company buys more at a lower price. Only new people in crypto are blinded by him, those who have been here since bitcoin is not that yet popular won't fall for what he is doing. I hope some authorities should do something about this soon or his manipulating the crypto will continue as long as he wants.

I kind of get why you guys are angry and why a lot of people are, but where was all this anger when Elon was Tweeting about Bitcoin since last year? He's done and gone and made a lot of fuss and people are feeding into it. If you don't like it, leave it be, don't feed the monster that is Elon. Just come back after a few months, he'll be ineffective;)

Its not Elon lol,  Bitcoin and alt coins have always had huge fluctuations right from the start. I remember when Bitcoin went up to 18k then right down back to 4k  and stayed there. It's how people make money from it.

LE ☮︎ Halving es la purga
He is in his "being-nature", earning money in all forms.
In my opinion, any movement has its ROI calculated. There is no spontaneity in anything related to Elon Musk.

As for the sheep, each one us choose in which position he wants to be: Sheep, Wolf, the herding Dog or the owner of the farm.

Be careful, one can go with "El-On" Musk for any of the options, the problem is not knowing where you are.

$100k will be reached after Taproot activation (surprise surprise 2017 is being repeated!) which also explains the current drop which may not have anything to do with Elon Musk and his FUD anymore (the initial drop did not the follow up) as the whales are accumulating cheap bitcoins.
By the end of 2021 and possibly first quarter of 2022 we will see a price between $400k and $500k then the bear market starts.
2017 has a Segwit activation and 2021 has a Taproot activation. $400k or $500k is very high price and I think you speculate that price with the 2017 history. Your speculation is based on price before (or around) and all time high after the Segwit activation. Is my guess on the basement of your speculation correct?

Yes, I see how people think all actions on the market are related and manipulated by Elon Musk. They are too naively and blindly believe in what they see.
My speculation is based on the previous "cycles" ignoring the growth that each time the cycle has. In the previous one price went from the absolute bottom of $150 all the way up to nearly $20,000 which is a 13233% rise in about 3 years. This cycle price is going up from $3200 and 13233% rise would bring it to $426,656.

So far we've seen the drop after the bubble burst be the same exact size as previous one ($1200 to $150 or $87.5% and 20,000 to $3,200 or 84%) and take the same amount of time as previous one (2014 + 2015 and 2018 + 2019).
We also saw the same accumulation and initial steps being very similar with first year (2020) having smaller rises like 2016 which also both had halving take place in those years.
Then we are seeing the big bull run year (2021 vs 2017) shape up the same way with initial struggle to break the previous ATH with multiple pull backs ($20k vs. $1.2k), we have setting new ATH on roughly similar sizes in similar intervals.
We also have the same big pull back after the big rise (~3x above ATH: $60k vs. ~$4k) with the same level of FUD campaign.
There is also another big upgrade coming to bitcoin (Taproot of 2021 vs. SegWit of 2017).

The similarities on charts, community and news are too similar to ignore.

Elon Musk is in large part a fraud, and I embarrassingly didn’t realize it until just watching this - https://youtu.be/c-FGwDDc-s8

Just watched this and part 2 earlier today and it was spot on.

This charade has been going on for decades, and the cult of Tesla are to blame for supporting him.

It's a shame so many have to idolize someone with paper wealth (probably net negative with the loans against his stock), as they don't have the confidence to think for themselves.

I didn’t buy in to his doge trolling but I did the bitcoin “love” a little bit. You’re right though. it’s funny how many people follow him and or Twitter “experts” for crypto advice but have absolutely no clue who Nick Szabo, Hal Finney, Back, etc are. For a long time Trevon James and other bitconnect promoters had far more followers on there than Andreas antonopoulos did, for reference of how dumb and lazy people are.

exactly, it's always funny when some people gonna find a way to take advantage's of elon musk's tweet to their benefit even if the tweet is the most obscure thing in this year.
though, even if right now btc is dumped if you see the chart from 2009 we're still far up and this kind of correction is to be expected, I remember when btc hits $60k people keep asking where's the correction and here it is.
though, i'm sure it's gonna go up again by then bitcoin market will be immune to elon's tweet.

People like Elon Musk will always be, so you shouldn't pay so much attention to their actions. Of course, many were happy when, thanks to Elon Musk's tweets, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies grew in value. Now he is scolded for speaking out about the negative impact on the environment of the bitcoin mining process. There would be no Elon Musk, there would be someone else and his influence would have flowed in a slightly different form. It is necessary to take into account the short-term influence of such people on this market, because they affect the movement of prices, but first of all it is necessary to be guided by the general laws of the market and common sense.

The Elon pump was fun , but people should pay more attention to what Greyscale and Microstrategy are doing... and other ETFs and the like.
( hint, they are gobbling up all the Bitcoins that the twitter-crowd are selling )

This message hasn't been posted (yet!) but I wrote this title so you all understand the big joke this guy is playing on all of us.

He can post whatever dumb words and the sheep will enter in trance to worship their master.

Unbelievable what we're living, I never thought people are so easy to manipulate until now, if you got the money you can fool a lot of people around.

But I'm happy to see also that many are not being tricked and they understand what's happening. My real congrats to them all! HODL!

I agree with your point, but whining about how the people are being easily manipulated is pointless.
Is this some sort of pep talk?Does it make you feel better? This definitely doesn't make me fee better.
It hurts to see how easily the Bitcoin price can be manipulated by a rich guy with a big ego and his mindless followers.
Some people bet their live savings on Bitcoin and they get frustrated by the price correction and end up panic selling everything and leave the market with a huge loss.
Elon Musk doesn't care about those people, and this is perfectly fine, but the market manipulation will cause a lot of financial damage to many people.

Honey badger does NOT care. 100k by the end of FY 2021-22. Mark my word.

Tbh I think it will surpass 100k. My own prediction is BTC will be around 150-200k in November and then we will see another correction (-30% or -40%).

Experienced users have seen a lot of ups and downs and they know how to deal with these fluctuations. It is the new entrants who will be susceptible for panic selling. And the same group of users might have accumulated DOGE at insanely high prices due to FOMO. Once Dogecoin crashes and loses 90% of its value, these same people will come up with their sob stories in mainstream media and explain how they lost all of their life savings because they invested in cryptocurrency.

100 is just a number people like to use, a rough estimate, a milestone. When we say 100k it doesn't mean exactly that, it can mean 120 or 99. I'm also sure we'll have a second wave somewhere in Q3/Q4 of this year.

If negative news and FUD keep piling up this might be postponed to as long as 2023, but if you knew it's going to happen in the next 3 years, would you sell today and leave bitcoin because there could be a 2 year long bear market? I wouldn't  Tongue
I have money to survive without bitcoin for many years and I can wait. In 3 years my fiat money will be worth about 20% less thanks to inflation and I'm about 500% up on my bitcoin investment since 2020. Put ideology and fears aside and focus on pure math and you'll come to the same conclusion: bitcoin is better than money in the bank.

Bitcoin looks like it is on course for a correction right now and that should be accepted by anybody who is happy with the long game. It has grown over 100% so far this year, when other "risky" investments like stocks and property are lucky if they average 8% per year. That does mean it could still fall much further and still be a very good year - well, except for the people who buy in at the peak without a plan and those who are forced to sell it off before it recovers to head higher again. If you think about the long game like institutions do, they would be very happy to crash the price short term by selling large holdings if it can squeeze the much smaller investors out while they buy back in at a moment of their choosing. This sort of collaboration is not unheard of on wallstreet.
