It would be nice. There's probably an environmental situation is not as bad as on the planet Earth. Pollute the planet there is no one else.
Well, the environment there would be worst than a polluted Earth. It's a completely different atmosphere. Then there's the weaker gravity, and the colder than hell cold. Plus the insane winds.

But will he ever get to build a rocket that doesn't blow up?

That's the nature of the business. NASA blew up piles of rockets in the 50s and 60s. He's doing it out in the open and his averages are probably lower.

That is true. The thing is that that was back in the 50s and 60s. The knowledge from those accidents have already been learned, so he shouldn't been having those same problems. It's not like he's starting from scratch after a big earth catastrophic that sent every country back to the stone age.

Its too bad this man cant run for president  Grin Such a visionary and will go down in history as one of the greats.

You want this fraud as the president? Even Hillary Clinton is better than him. Explain me about his "vision". He has been a complete failure so far, and he is only making money thanks to his lobbying power.

It's ambitious and very expensive plans. But if he will send people to Mars, it will be no way to back in Earth. And it's impossible to surive for people in Mars climate conditions, they will be need to live in buildings. Question, who will build it in Mars?

There is nothing new in his claim, NASA has been trying to do this for decades. Can't say exactly when the dream will be accomplished.

How to fly to Mars if you still have not explored the moon. Mars is a one way ticket, and from the moon back to.

Still, it would solve the current migration problem.
Yes, I also offer to send all Syrian refugees. They don't want to go somewhere. They go to developed countries and there do not work and have babies and sit on the Dole.

He doesn't have the technology to do that. Perhaps he can steal the technology from Russia or France. Elon Musk is all words and no action. He is an extremely over-rated guy. He has made his money thanks to political lobbying. His friendship with John McCain has been very rewarding, and he was able to win a lot many of the NASA contracts due to it.

Er, how many spacecraft have most people put into orbit? Rather fewer than Mr Musk. I've only managed three myself.

It's a one way ticket. Where he finds so much wanting? I'm not talking about the number of missiles necessary for this.

Wondering where to find so many suicides? I think this is a PR to earn money on advertising. I do not believe in such projects!

But will he ever get to build a rocket that doesn't blow up?

Well he became a rocket scientist over night, give him sometime. Cheesy

He make reutilizable rockets, tell that to NASA.

I love the questions of the NASA in this press release, I was just like: " BUT THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, WTF!!! IS TOO DAMM BIG!!!"

They doesn't seems very happy to see some private company works better than them. And they would become absolutly crazy when the can hire people from anywhere in the world without asking for a visa. Mart law.

He's going to make Mars just like Earth, and he's going to build a magic carpet to whisk colonists instantly to the surface of the newly lush, green planet.
