Being one of the famous personality around the world, Elon Musk is using his tweets to pump up the doge coin. I can't say that he can dump bitcoin alone with his tweets because there are other big players involve in it too but for dogecoin, he is single handly pumping with his tweets. But this cannot continue forever. Sooner or later, his tweet will have no effect on the prices. I wonder when that time will come ?
To be honest, Elon Musk was really a famous person around the world and we clearly see on how he manipulate the dogecoin just by his own tweets and as we noticed due to the market crash it affects the value of bitcoin in which the bitcoin dumps so hard but I am agreeing with your thoughts that even though Elon Musk will tweet about bitcoin, it may not affect it because we all know that there are a lot of bigger people in bitcoin who has a lot of holdings than Elon so this means that even he tweets about bitcoin it may have an little effect on the price but not totally he can manipulate the value of bitcoin.

Well good for the market and the people to finally learn something.
He has been creating chaos on crypto by tweeting it is about time that people learn to ignore him and continue on their lives,
I hope it is permanent not just for his first couple of tweets while BTC is having a hard time.
You have to understand that nothing last forever, no matter what you do, people will always find ways to ignore your plans and character, Elon is already loosing followers and breaking their trust in him especially me, let's just have to understand the purpose of bitcoin as decentralization likewise market supply and demand as one of the major reason for coin movement, hype only terminate and mislead the market price to something unpredictable.

I really hope that he loses his power to manipulate the market. Because people are getting angry with him much more as long as he continues to do the same. But I don't know if it is possible too see Elon Musk not being able to have an impact on the market anymore.

^ Hopefully that will happen because I don't know why these people keep following in what Elon Musk Tweet. It is clear that he was manipulating the market using his power and probably now people will realize his tricks in the market and all of these will stop and his tweet will no longer have an effect on the people. People will realize soon that all of these are for the sake of his personal gains and most of his tweet it seems he really need money and becomes greedy or  very clever businessman that using his power and money just to earn more.

Sooner or later, his tweet will have no effect on the prices. I wonder when that time will come ?

look at the current price: $38,000 and is struggling to stay above $38,000, so why didn't the price fall below $30,000? because more people are buying each time the price drops a lot. this means that elon musk no longer has that great power to cause the price to fall below what it is, because people will be buying whenever the price drops a lot

People follow him because his actions have an immediate effect on the market, thus, it's an earning opportunity.

The most ridiculous thing is to see many people creating altcoins with dog names in the hope that elon musk will also support such altcoin with dog names

This clown can post anything he wants. People still follow him like sheep. I'm tired of people who don't use their own brains and wait for some magic tweet from Mr. Musk; these will be the first to be brain chipped by their master. Be careful, this clown has long term plans with all of us. If you're gonna be one of his sheep it's up to you only.
People follow him because his actions have an immediate effect on the market, thus, it's an earning opportunity. We've all seen what happened with Dogecoin. Judging by what I've noticed, there are two kinds of people, those who follow Elon and similar influencers like sheep, and those who take advantage of the situation for their own profit.

Thus, I can't really judge those who follow him, most do it for their own personal gains. It's only Elon Musk to blame in this situation.

Again and again,  he will be always tweeting about crypto and many people will only follow and get FUD to panic.  Yeah,  this is the power of someone big and popular,  rich and has everything.
And probably with that kind of tweet gain,  it relly reflects the condition.

Really his tweets is having existing effect in all the coins, but the problem is that it will not last for a long time, from what am observing right now i can see that Elon musk is trying to concentrate with a particular cryptocurrency and bring others down, so from the look of things even though Elon keep on emphasising on the down fall of Bitcoin i don't really think it will be possible for long period.

See it's obvious and very known to people that irrespective the amount of pumping of dogecoin no time doge coin will be use to relate or compare to Bitcoin, ok, let assuming that Bitcoin does not have values today, can alternative coin's survive or accelerate in all ramifications increment without the existence of Bitcoin, from other perspective Bitcoin is like the alpha and omage of all cryptocurrencies.

Market needs to be matured to get out of such shits. Of course, it will be eventually. I can assure that Elon can have no influence in the next bull run . There was time, a post from McaFee means huge. He has no more power now and people realized that he is a shill. So does Elon too. People will realize that eventually.

It is quite hard for the market to be "Matured" as the ones behind those trading numbers are people and people got emotion, wild imagination, and lots of speculative thinking.  It is obvious that any celebrity or known people will have an impact on the market so it is quite hard to stay idle when one big icon starts hyping or fud'ing the market because the FOMO will always kick in.

I also think that many crypto enthusiasts are quite unhappy with Elon Musk so many of these people will try not to listen when he(Elon) say something with regards to crypto trend.

I recognise I used to admire Musk for his impactful entrepreneurial activity. Now, my respect for him dropped like a rock especially because he is manipulatively expressing his opinions. He has freedom of speech like any of us, but IMO a person with such a huge following and influence should use much more disclaimers.

Anyway, in an ideal world we shouldn't put much weight on anyone's opinion. No matter his financial status.

Wealth does not equal wisdom or expertise and certainly it does not represent a crystal ball.

Fo me, this is one of the reasons why we can tell we are still in the early days of cryptocurrency since 1 twitter personality can make the price move like this.
Elon Musk is like John Mcafee of 2017. But Elon Musk is a bigger person compare to now, that's why we can see really huge effect on the market.

By the way, Elon Musk got another tweet a few hours ago and we saw how the market reacted. Bitcoin pumped around 1-2% after the tweet was published recently.

Elon Musk has been almost boycotted a lot lately.  I realized CZ unfollowed Elon after a huge hit with the last tweet I noticed when he dragged Fiat into the crypto wars and showed his support for crypto.  .  He did the right thing, it's not just the exception in this situation, and let's see the state of the market, but I don't think BTC can wick up that fast again.

He's really being very unpredictable, and while a few days ago I was believing he was kind of anti-crypto smarta.., using his influence to make profits, now I kind of think he is trying to actually manipulate crypto (not monetarily) but is trying to have an impact on the system itself, because when he made the statement that Bitcoin won't be accepted because it's not environment friendly, he didn't attack the fundamentals of Bitcoin itself, maybe he's going to add his brain to make the revolution more powerful? Maybe he can add something good in the already goody decentralized system with some new technologies? He's being very unpredictable, but as always, he's an inspiration for me.

I saw this tweet, but I don't think it has any effects on the market. 1 or 2% nothing for Bitcoin, it would change within seconds. Doesn't necessarily consider that to happen due to his tweets. It's true many traders following him to get an advantage, but slowly his influence will reduce from the market if he can't set his mind. If he continues this kind of controversial tweet then very less people will follow him. He is trying to push Doge somehow and he succeeds as well. But if he expects the doge to surpass Bitcoin then he is a made. Doesn't matter either Tesla except for Bitcoin or not, but the matter is he is manipulating the markets and taking out billion dollars from here. That's the real concern. Hope soon his influence from the market will end but don't know when.

That will happen when people see that his tweets are not relevant again, or that they just get tired of him appearing every single time and decided to ignore and stop following him. However, as long as there are still people reading his tweets, believing his words and act the way he intended to, then his tweets will still have the power to pump or dump the coin, or at least affect it in some ways. We just need to be more careful and smarter and just take everything with a grain of salt.

I'm not so sure about this. Because nothing will change about this as long as the market can be manipulated. This is a volatile market so I don't think that people like Elon Musk won't be able to affect it after a point.

Well this is going to happen for sure in the future. I do think you know about the coin that was made in India against Elon musk. It jumped in value excessively really fast. I think it's not only funny but another way to see how many people are now learning more about marker Manipulation.
Which I understand is the first step. Since most of them are small Investors who are hoping to get rich by following Elon musk, they will sooner or later realize that his tweets does not mean that he is doing this for them.
I do think recently he did make a tweet about dogecoin going to the moon and the price being 1$, but I did not see any significant improvement in the market. It spiked but not excessively, how it might have happened in the past.

To determine the prices, you can't do that with just your brain alone. You need some fud, hype and emotion and the reason is the market is not regulated. Unregulated market needs hype and big buyers to move the market either for bull or bear at this is exactly what is going on. Elon musk has alot of twitter followers and that is easily changing the face of the market at any point he makes a tweet. We can't hate that alot but to be careful.

I think someone arranged for Elon Musk to post negative content on bitcoin's alleged energy consumption. And planned a dump in advance to frame Elon Musk and make him take the blame.
I don't understand what you mean by "someone's trap" that has influenced Elon Musk's attitude toward bitcoin. As far as I know, he is a reliable businessman who probably wouldn't do something easily without thorough analysis. This mean that his decision to invest in bitcoin is a good strategy to boost the popularity of Tesla product while getting more profit from his bitcoin asset.

Elon Musk is someone who has a lot of influence on crypto right now. The negative thing from him has currently blinded the eyes of many people even apart from his decision to no longer accept bitcoin as a mean of payment at Tesla, there are still many other whales who are playing with the market. Elon Musk has been the target to blame for falling price, although that is justifiable, but I don't think the market is his.
