Not necessary. Do you know what happened to the Neanderthals? They became extinct many tens of thousands of years ago, due to a variety of reasons (including competition and warfare with the modern humans). The same can happen to the human race. There is a remote possibility of the human species getting extinct, without any survivors.

No. its not the end of the world its just the start of the ending of the world, many generations will come and survive the environment before we completely wipe on earth.

If it's the end, then it's the end. Even if you know it would happen, you can't do anything about it like a huge meteor making a destructive impact in 24 hours.

The difference between Muslims and Christians is that among the Christians, the groups such as NLFT and NSCN represents only a small minority. As far as I know, not many people outside India support these groups. But the problem with Islam is that a huge number of Muslims support groups such as the ISIS and the Al Qaeda.

asteroids, are real, of course, but I'm more inclined to your idea that because of our selfishness we can destroy our lives

No one knows, but I think, risks are high. There are many possibilities for mankind to extinction. Also, this century will be most important for humanity, I think - can we solve job automatisation problem, can we made space colonies etc.
