Curious just checked the Encyclopedia says 490 black minted so what is with the 825 serial number? Did they just use 1 - 2000 irrespective of black or green? Still a great coin!

From MJ's post of Lealana mintage thread:

Quote
The ser 1 coins were to ea have a printed serial number on ea, ranging from #1-500. To further complicate things, of the original 500 numbered holograms, Lealana ended up using some of the upper number holograms for some of the Ser 2 green label coins. The black writing on the 500 ser 1 coins is contained on the private key label visible underneath the hologram thru the "window", which is what makes them a ser 1 coin and assures authenticity of ser 1 coins.
Therefore, you will see Ser 1, black label coins ranging from 1-10,000 on the serial numbers. (even though only 500 were made and only a few hundred or less were known to be released.)  We consider the "low" number coins to be the rarest as they are from the intended 1-500 hologram stock. The upper numbers in the 501-10,000 range are still very rare and still Ser 1 black label from the orig 500 made.

Sorry for so much info, but it seemed to make more sense when put all together. Smiley

Thanks I scanned MJ's thread but missed that:(
