I'm going to go on a limb and theorize that LV's account was compromised, and this is not the true LV...
- Seems very out of character for him based on his reputation and our past interactions
- A couple of days ago, I received an unsolicited PM on here with a link to a landing page that was identical to Bitcointalk's login page... only, it wasn't. They were phishing credentials from members. I reported to the mods, but this actually lends credence to the theory
- All of the stuff "LV" is throwing out there re: recent deals could be learned from his reviews and PMs.
- The newbie's account was created 3 days before the auction listing
- The only feedback the newbie has is from no other than, you guessed it, LV -- on April 30, the date of the auction
Does any trusted member here know LV personally who can verify?
@Mods, are you able to investigate the IP address activity associated with LV's account for signs of abuse?

We are being honest and upfront about what is going on. If I had copper member status and that made you more comfortable I can do that to take away my newbie status, but that is just a matter of spending money.
