What I see in this guy's posts is a person who sees a very selective campaign which, as a result of that, has some of the best posters on bitcointalk, and which pays a very high rate relative to other campaigns and is therefore criticizing the campaign and the manager because he sees a meritocracy that he doesn't have enough merit to get into.

Guess what?  When I went to college, I couldn't have gotten into Harvard.  That's not because Harvard is a mysterious boys' club.  It's because my grades weren't good enough.

this campaign here feels fishy from the very beginning with a large lack of transparency because no one is able to determine why someone was choosen or not. there is no transparent waiting list and much more.

Find me a single campaign where the campaign clearly explains why they chose an individual over another one. Yes, there is no transparent waiting list, because what does not exist cannot be transparent. I've gotten upwards of 40 individuals applying for a single slots, and it's way too time consuming with no noticeable benefit to say "I chose Person A over person B because X. However, Person C was better than Person A because of Y, and and thus they were accepted."

Want to be accepted? Write good posts that actually get read.

campaign manager has the wrong strategie to manage this campaign.

Let me know how many campaigns you've worked with or what gives you the credentials to tell others how to run campaigns.

first thing is reduce the amount to pay per post because the high amount let the participates act like slaves of the campaign manager.

Most Participants != more exposure. Posts that get read are infinity times more valuable than those which are not. Higher pay allows me to attract better posters and those who are more well known. Individuals such as HCP are very active in Technical Support sections, and their posts almost certainly get read a lot. I could cut the pay into a fifth, and get 5 people. However, good posters might flock to other campaigns, so I'd be left with those who only post in megathreads, or those who write very short non-contributing posts. A post in a megathread might never get read, or a single digit amount from other megathread posters that need a quote to respond to.

second allow more people to participate in this campaign. to get a larger awareness across the forum also in non English sections.

There's a budget for the campaign. You can't just say "add more people!!11one!11"
Also, aside from Chinese (which I'm really bad at) and English, I can't speak any other languages. You ask for more transparency on how individuals are chosen, but want me to evaluate and consider accepting those who's posts I can't understand? How do I compare them with posters whom I do understand? Should I Google Translate (which makes posts seem very weird grammar wise and loses some words in translation?) their posts? Should I base it off of character length, and then discriminate against Chinese/Korean/Japanese posters as a result of that?

third thing ask yourselve if this forum is still the right place to waste such a high amount every week because this forum is mostly a place for trolls now and not for Bitcoin believers anymore.

Like you?  Tongue

i cannot agree with you. for example the former bitmixer.io campaign was really the best campaign so far. it was automated with less effort than this campaign. (don't want to know the margin of the campaign manager here.)

Well, yeah! A bot that counts your posts, only removing posts that were too short character wise or in the wrong section, and it had decent pay. It was a paradise for spammers; they could literally post anything, and as long as it was long enough, it would be paid for.

I'm open to suggestions on how I could manage this campaign for the better. However, those suggestions shouldn't be vague with no clear way of doing it, reasonable to implement, and have a benefit.

I actually bolded the above from your post because I quite agree with you in totality on that.

Why wouldn't you use a service you're advertising. You should look at a service and feel comfortable with how it works before advertising it.

yes, this is pure teaching which is mostly not applicable to this forum.

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
nope! as you can see according the thread I did answer a question that i tried chipmixer.com and it is not working until now.

did you ever use chipmixer.com yourselve?

I was pointing you at the service thread with the answer to why your deposit hasn't been credited yet.

I use it frequently and I'm very happy to endorse it.

In answer to your question Gyrsur, their bitcoind is most likely stuck again.
Considering they have more than ~100BTC I don't think it's the lack of funds issue anymore as it used to be (when they had to reorganise the site a bit).
They usually unfreeze the bitcoind within 24-48 hours.

more likely from inputs before your input which also can be from a dirty source.
Correct, just like any other mixer. Or just like the banknotes in your wallet have most likely been used in criminal transactions somewhere in the past.

I wouldn't mind discussing this further, but it's completely off-topic here. If you create a thread about it, please post the link here.

It's entirely up to ChipMixer how to run the campaign. ChipMixer chose and trusts DarkStar_. The end.

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!
C'mon, @Gyrsur. You're just looking for any reason at all to complain.

Just look at the progression, here:

Quote
Nope, the campaign manager is in GOD mode and his decisions to elect someone to his disciple are not transparent for anyone.

Pretty simple, right? You're complaining that the manager is acting like God.
But once that gets answered, you change directions on a dime:

Quote
campaign manager has the wrong strategie to manage this campaign.

first thing is reduce the amount to pay per post because the high amount let the participates act like slaves of the campaign manager.

second allow more people to participate in this campaign. to get a larger awareness across the forum also in non English sections.

third thing ask yourselve if this forum is still the right place to waste such a high amount every week because this forum is mostly a place for trolls now and not for Bitcoin believers anymore.

if I want to get serious information about Bitcoin development in general I visit reddit. if I want some entertainment and learn to know about the newest scams this forum is the right place.

How sweet of you. You are trying to help DarkStar_ learn how to run a better signature campaign. That one gets answered too.
(Seriously, Reddit has fewer trolls than here??? Reddit has fewer trolls than anywhere???)
This is a social forum, and deals less with the mathematics of cryptography than it used to. That's natural. What used to be an amazing nerdy invention is transitioning into a globally known phenomenon. There's still definitely a need for the technical stuff. But this place still has a very important purpose for bitcoin.

Finally, you get flustered, and go for your third tangent:

Quote
the whole business model of chipmixer makes really no sense to me.

Seriously?
Do I even need to talk about this one?

If you don't think the business is a good one, the answer is pretty simple. Don't go there. Smiley
Problem solved. Everyone is happy. And if chipmixer gets run into the ground by their business model, that is their lookout.

But I think honestly that this isn't much about the three tangents you brought up. I'm thinking this is more just sour grapes.
With all the time you spent here, you could've probably joined a lower paying campaign, and actually made some money.
I would suggest to you that that is a more profitable pastime than spamming this guy in hopes he gives you a slot.

Automation leads to spam and if you're going to get someone to check for post quality, why not also have someone go 100% and manage posts as well?

they have created chips before. from where? freshly minted chips? guess not.

more likely from inputs before your input which also can be from a dirty source.
Of course these aren't freshly minted coins, just like every mixer they have an algorithm taking care of getting rid of as much initial taint as possible. It's not bullet-proof.

Miners can demand a high premium for their mint; if mixers were to use it, they would need to charge users extremely high fees and barely anyone would use a mixer then.

then you import this private key in your wallet and the whole time until you have spend the chip amount completely it is on risk.

sounds less safer to me than mixing small amounts to different addresses directly and after this your risk is zero.
You can just as easily request ChipMixer to sweep the private keys for you, then you don't have to bother worrying about risks.

Why don't you just give it a try and explore ChipMixer for yourself.
