Txs fee has been increased a lot. We may see higher fees in the coming days. Are you guys familiar with Lightning Network? Would you be interested in getting paid through Lightning Network? Please share your honest opinions.
Not familiar with LN but if I can learn the basics and I've heard good things about LN so I am weighing my options about being paid in LTC or going with the LN option.

Week#10 has been paid- https://mempool.space/tx/6e64fed1fc011d2b7231e3057f01b6fe50d2712decb5a88d7143778927db9b9d

To all the participants-
I get paid USDT every week which I have to convert in BTC. Both cost around $70 lol. I don't think it makes enough sense. Unless the fee is decreased, every week, we have to pay more than $40 in fees.

If all of you have no problem with getting paid with LTC, please send me your LTC address. If the fee doesn't get normalized next week, we will pay through LTC. If fee is normal, we will use BTC.
Can I delay my response to this boss @Little Mouse? Received the payment for Week#10 thank you.

That's crazy amount of fees. How about a monthly payment instead of weekly. A monthly payment means you are paying once instead of four times. Four transaction made separately  will be costing you $160 where one transaction will cost you $40 dollar because you will have same number of output address but with four weeks payment. If you do average then you are reducing the fees to $10. On the other hand, I don't think this crazy fees are going to stay longer. After a few weeks, everything will become normal.

This is a bitcoin forum and many of us will prefer in bitcoin no matter what fee it costs. I trust you enough that if you pay monthly it's still okay for me. If that's fine then I suppose I don't need an LTC address.

I also think this is a good idea, high fees can be so annoying:

I have zero issues with being paid in LTC since it's my favorite altcoin thanks to its superfast TX times and negligible TX fees. Great decision LM!

Txs fee has been increased a lot. We may see higher fees in the coming days. Are you guys familiar with Lightning Network? Would you be interested in getting paid through Lightning Network? Please share your honest opinions.
I went along with every decision that was best including the proposed fortnightly payment offer. I do not mind.
Regarding the payment plan using the Lightning Network, I rarely use it in transactions, but I also agree if that is the result that is decided.

I am not also familiar with the Lighting Network but I can always learn and adapt to it if it is the best option. I am also open to other options like receiving payments bi-weekly or monthly.

I think for many members, Lightning Network is just a term they heard, they never tried how it works. All of them should do some Lighting transactions though. But I am sure many will mess with it if they were asked to give a Lightening payment address.

Personally I do not mind if you pay bi-weekly, monthly or even two to three months interval. But there are people who use this money to bring bread and butter for their family and I assume they need the money in time. The best you can do is make it bi-weekly. So you can save some fees. At-least you will be able to save half of the fees you were supposed to spend to make two transactions for each addresses.

Make sure every week you count the btc amount and inform the team that this is the due for the week x. After every two weeks, do the total for individual members and send the payments.

Hope this input was helpful.

Am familiar with LN, but I have never really used it which is why I don't think it's a good option and I feel the majority of the members in this campaign share similar feelings. Instead, I think switching to altcoins like LTC or Doge temporarily is a better idea.

This would help until BTC fees drop and you could continue sending the payments out weekly.

I'm also not familiar with using LN, however I have been using Electrum and obviously it has implemented LN already. So I'm willing to learn LN and looking at the https://boltz.exchange/swap to swap LN BTC to Onchain BTC.

And I would agree that it's the better option for now if the fees continue to go up. I do agree with @BenCodie, even if we are going to be paid with onchain Bitcoin either by 2 weeks or 4 weeks (a month), it is still going to be expensive.

I also think that maybe stablecoin like TRC-20 might be a good alternative.

Hi LM, thank you for the payment despite the fees. I would prefer another major altcoin over LN though I am happy with LN if it's the only option, as I do not like LN as a whole but I see the use case here so I suppose it's fine.

For me, I'm not familiar with Lightning Network but if required I can make a research about it for have an information about it.

For those who don't know LightningNetwork, you can use a wallet like Electrum to receive it (or of course, bitcoin core) and you can use a privacy-friendly exchange like Boltz to swap the LN BTC to BTC when it suits you to do so.

It costs the sender a lot less to send out the payments, and the network fee is passed to you. This way, LM can send payments on time and you can wait until the network permits you to swap to BTC and send it cheaply.

Same here, I've only heard of it, but I'm not so familiar with how to use it.

May I suggest that if Bitcoin's transaction fees are too high, maybe we can make this campaign a bi-weekly or monthly payout to save on fees.

I am also fine with this though I think LN is the better option as it would still conserve more on fees (monthly payment vs. LN, LN still conserves).

Just curious, I see that you already said anyone that applications sent in prior should not apply again, I want to know the order in which participants are selected, is it according to the application prior to the slot opening or after the announcement of the slot being openning?

This is necessary to stop too much application from various tiers of members when the slots available is just one or two.
