So, the FATF rules are now set in stone!

Calling the “threat of criminal and terrorist misuse of virtual assets” a “serious and urgent” issue, FATF said in a public statement that it will give countries 12 months to abide by the guidelines, with a review set for June 2020.

"FATF is also giving countries the option of requiring any VASPs that provide products or services within their jurisdiction to register with the appropriate authorities."

Now is a better time than ever to remind our community that GBX is a regulated entity hence, we adhere to regulation set by the GFSC as DLTP/VASP (Digital Asset Service Provider/Virtual Asset Service Provider) 😎

Gibraltar is setting up to become both a blockchain and business hub. The latest project, Victoria Keys, which will be built at Coaling Island inside the historic harbour, is set to raise the profile of Rock to rival the likes of Monaco.

“Our international prominence appears to have had a positive influence on the high net worth individuals that we strive to attract to Gibraltar”, Chief Minister Fabian Picardo declared recently.

That's why the solutions offered by services like our own Juno.gi will be highly sought for and the GSX Group is positioning this way in the front lines of anything investment related, via its Fund and Corporate Services plus Juno Solutions.

Do you have plans for atttract institutional invetors to your exchange? As I know, since beginning your exchanges has been oriented for big investors? Are there some intitutional investors which interesting in your exchange?

Hello Gembira and thank you for your question. The value proposition for institutions to purchase STACS for its utility is the need to stake STACS in order to participate in the network. Institutions will be able to run nodes and validate transactions. This in itself, by way of staking will lead to a lower velocity coupled with high demand due to the incentives gained by staking.

Also, please see this message from the GBX CEO, Kurt Looyens. "Dynamics of institutional sign up are clearly (and logically) different from our retail set up. The process takes longer and has a lot more depth. Having said that, we are making progress. All developments on the side of GSX and the STACS protocol are an obvious support. Can't say much concrete, but we are making things happen ... step by step."

What? Are you thinking that people with billions $ (institutional investors) will run supernodes?  Grin This nodes for small investors, not big.

GBX's supernodes are indeed for institutions.
