I think if someone want to change the address than he is free to create new account instead of keep waiting to get confirmation from dev. Anyway this is not clear where it need to get changed in alpha platform or any other place?
You'll be able to change it once the functionality is live in the Alpha, as it's not possible to do so at the moment.

Hi everyone, here is an update when submitting a request to change address: Once submitted an address change it does not mean that it has been processed and therefore you should not move the tokens. Please wait until you receive written confirmation from the team. Furthermore, we are adding an address change feature to the alpha soon, and we request users to wait until that is ready, as changing manually requires a lot of work.
